Confirmations

Peragus lay within a tree not too far away from the Grand Konoha Training Facility. His arms were behind his head, his headband was across his eyes as usual and for all intents and purposes he would appear to be asleep. Should someone be savvy or perceptive enough however they would be able to tell that he was awake via multiple. Someone with active sensory or a doujutsu could see his active chakra network. Or someone would high enough perceptive abilities could tell that his breathing was not regular enough for someone to be asleep.

As it was, he was simply feigning sleep while he watched people training in the facility. His eyes could see the entirety of each floor and he used the opportunity to study individuals intently. As he did he learned interesting tidbits. Nothing overt like individual techniques, but he found quite a few interesting chakra control exercises and elemental manipulation training methods by doing this. He could also analyze people quite easily. Which allowed him to watch them and figure out their ticks and methods to potentially rile them up if the situation ever called for it. You see, Peragus was not a believing in overly public training scenarios. He firmly preferred to train alone and he tended to take advantage whenever he could when it came to watching other people train. It taught one all kinds of interesting things about one's comrades and kept most of them in the dark about his own capabilities. Which was how he preferred it.

Kimiko walked through the streets, clad in the armor of the Defender's Regalia and presenting the sword Aerondite on her left hip. Her pouches were distributed around with easy access to the rest of her gear. A bird mask hung off the side of her belt as well, ready for her to put on whenever she wanted. Her chakra signature wasn't registering as the usual signature it would for any familiar with her, but that was half of the point.

Finding Peragus wasn't too difficult, plenty of people pointed out the location of the 'blind' Hyuuga. The fact that he was out in the open was going to make this far easier than she was expecting, which worked out. Having to track people down was fun, but Kimiko was on a time crunch. She'd told Ren to meet her at the gates in a few hours, and she'd already used up a bit of that time just getting ready.

Spotting Peragus, Kimiko immediately began sizing him up, taking in his dimensions and such. Turning on her sensory and activating her Sharingan to the level of EMS, she began to approach the 'sleeping' Hyuuga.

"Peragus? Tengoku wants me ta escort Ren and ya to the Land of Wolves, on account of Raijin stirring up trouble over east. I told Ren ta meet me at the gates in a couple hours. Heard ya ran into Raijin though, had a quick question if ya don't mind. Rumor has it he's got a.... certain dagger on him of exceptional quality. Wouldn't happen to be able to confirm that for me, would ya?"

She didn't even bother introducing herself. He either knew who she was, or he didn't, and neither particularly mattered to her. She'd already established knowledge of his mission, as well as who sent her and why.

Peragus of course had seen the woman coming. Having eyes that allowed him to see all around him, even through a blindfold, made that a trivial matter. He even recognized her too, she was too well known in the world to not. The not quite widowed, since she never married him, fiance of Akihiro Uchiha. One of the previous Clan Leader’s of their prestigious clan. She moved up to him, or well, below him since he was in a tree and called his name. She would obviously be attentive enough to know he was faking and frankly if she was approaching him she probably simply did not care if she was disturbing any kind of ‘nap’. He was after all doing so in public.

Apparently she was to be the one to escorting himself and Ren to the Land of Wolves. The newly minted Chuunin turned his head toward her, showing he was paying attention as she listened. The trip to Wolves had been postponed because their escort had chosen to ‘retire’ go off to wherever the fuck they wanted. As such Ren and Peragus had to wait for a suitable watch dog. The Hyuuga had begun to wonder if he would just get told to be in charge but apparently not. Still, she had apparently told Ren to meet them in a couple of hours and had questions about his encounter with Raijin at the gates. Once she had finished asking he would not her position and roll off the side of the branch, careful to land next to her and not on her. Then stand to his full height and seemingly, since he was wearing a fuckin blindfold, meet her eyes. “A dagger of exceptional quality? I’m not one for weapons myself so I couldn’t really tell an exceptional one from a superb one or whatever. I know the one I saw on his hip was certainly of superior quality to what I could find in the store. Based on the sheathe it was double edged and had a wooden hilt with leather wrapping.” He would say, describing the dagger as best he could. He could see through it’s hilt of course but he hadn’t been looking that hard at it. He had instinctively noted what he could see. It was a weapon after all and no shinobi ignored another’s weapon. But he had been a bit more focused on the fucking dragon. Still, he could at least give that much.

After a moment of silence he would pipe up. “Based on your question though, I assume you’re going after him? Mind if I tag along? I can hold my own in a situation and could be useful, if you want.” He would ask, a grin appearing on his features.

Kimiko smiled at the lack of surprise that Peragus seemed to have. This was the type of behavior she'd expect from someone who had run up on Raijin the first time. The smile never left, a note of triumph sneaking into it when Peragus described a blade she was very familiar with.

"Perfect. I'm curious how he got it, but..."

Pulling out Aerondite, she prepped a stance, shifting into a basic Kendo starting stance. Making sure she was faced away from Peragus so as to not appear as if she was getting ready to attack him, she nodded back at him.

"Sure, I was actually hoping ya'd be able to pull some Hyuuga shit. If he hasn't removed my seal from it, we can kill him right now. If he has, then this will look kinda stupid. Grab my shoulder, I'm gonna swing ta the right. Don't know what we're teleporting into, but hopefully this'll be cut and dry."

Waiting for Peragus to comply, Kimiko would hope that the seal was still on the Black Death, channeled chakra into the armor to activate Monarch's Providence and create a zone of silence around them. She would wind up for her strike upon Peragus's compliance, and as she began her swing, activate the Flying Thunder God seal. The two of them would vanish from the spot, sound returning where they had been.

At her agreement to his joining her his grin would only widen. He watched as she drew a sword and held it ready to swing. Only turned slightly away from him. He listened to her instructions, to grab her shoulder and apparently they would..teleport? Well she had suddenly reappeared in the village he guessed so he supposed he couldn't rule out the ability to do that. He prepared himself to swing to his left. As if she was going to swing to the right that would mean he would need to swing to his left in order to hit the target.

He reached out to grab her shoulder and noticed the sudden silence as all sound in the area seemed to disappear. Then they were gone instantly, both poised to strike the moment that they arrived.
