Tag Hunt 2

Mission:

Continuing his search through the castle, Ren would check every room, window, and crevice for any sign of a tag. As he continued through the halls, Ren would suddenly get a strange uneasy feeling within the pit of his stomach. He wasn't sure if it was the castle causing this feeling or if it was something or someone else, but at the same time he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched by someone unseen. Delving deeper into the castle, Ren would eventually reach a large throne room. The room itself was immaculate and seemed to be a true fit for a king, reminding Ren of the pictures he had seen of the Uchiha Castle during the time of the Scarlet Empire, though there would be some difference of course. As he moved deeper within the room the sound of an echoing foot fall would draw his attention to one corner of the room where a tall slender man would emerge. The man would speak but he wouldn't get many words out, it became apparent after his first three words that he was not here to help remove the castle like Ren was, in fact the man acted as though it was his home. Ren would attack fast, a single hand seal as he released one of the strongest fire techniques that was known, Ren would hear the man scream in pain and as his jutsu ended he would see no remnants of the man. Ren would shrug his shoulders and resume his search of the great hall for a sign of a tag, however he stopped in his tracks as he heard a slow clap behind him followed by the same voice of the man from before. Craning his neck to look behind him, Ren would see the man standing there without a scratch on him. Ren knew them that the man couldn't have been real, that there was no way a real person could have survived the attack. Ren would turn his attention back to the search, ignoring the man and his words as they were of no consequence, but that would change as he felt a hand suddenly grip his shoulder and spin him around right before a punch to his gut would land knocking the wind out of him as it sent him skidding across the floor of the room. Catching his breath, Ren's eyes would lock onto the other man. Not an illusion, after all it would seem. Ren would think to himself as he contemplated his next move while still on his back, it was then he noticed something underneath the throne that looked like the tag he had found before. Using body flicker to move faster, Ren would rush to the throne and knock it over revealing the tag underneath. He heard the man shout no, but Ren was quicker than the man was and was able to pull the tag off before the man could reach him. Ren would turn around just in time to see the man dissolve into a fog before completely dissipating.
