Not So Happy Go Lucky

The forest within the land of Fire were quite, not a sound was heard within the trees. Hunters had claimed that the game was getting harder and harder to track down, as if they were all moving away from something. Even the Aburame noticed a lack of insects within the forest, something was driving them away. By the time the reports came in about large beings tearing through the minor nations, the claim was there were no animals at all within the woods. It was like a crypt, dead quite, even the villagers noticed the lack of birds in the air. With the exception of the lack of animals, it was just a normal sunny day within Konohagakure.

A large strange dark cloud would be seen in the south of the village, growing close on the village at an alarming rate. It wasn't until the cloud got closer that the guards would realize it wasn't a cloud at all, but a swarm of insects. Blanketing the sky in darkness as the sheer amount of them blocked out the sun, the swarm would cover the village in seconds. Insects of all shapes and species, eating any plants along their path, some attacking the villagers with stings and bites. It was chaos in a matter of seconds, a rumbling could be felt deep in the earth and then the earth splits and Chomei the Seven Tailed Beast burst from the ground.

A loud high pitched sound just barely audible over the sound of the swarm unleashed as the usually happy go lucky Chomei looked upon the village in rage. The large blue kabutomushi would flap his six wing like tails as he took into the air, his glowing orange eyes visible beneath his helmet like skull. His legs pulled in close to him as he lifted off the ground, his mouth opening as a ball of pure chakra would appear in front of his mouth. Launching the 50m ball at S-Rank speed at the direct center of the village once he was over 500m above it, he would look down upon it's destruction before he prepared another attack.

Tengoku had been on high alert with the village and keeping an eye on things. Keeping himself busy and at the ready. His katana, Wakizashi, bow and quiver on him along with his armored rings and gauntlets. A dose of hero water on his person. Defenses were being coordinated but at the moment he had his attention on a dark cloud approaching. He would place the village on high alert since it was odd for a loan cloud so dark to be moving directly to the village. His own chakra sensory was up so when the bijuu passed beneath them he knew. His eyes widening. His golden gaze following the creature. What in the nine hells was a bijuu doing in his village? He would turn to his assistant and bark out an order.

"Evacuate the center of the village now! We are under attack!"

He didn't wait to see if they complied. He was already downing his dose of hero water. The power surging into his body as he activated his greaves for a boost in speed. Even activating the dog sign as black ink spread from his eyes across his body like moving tattoos. He was out the window as his golden feathered armor spread over his arms and shins. His Heavenly Quantum Epoch kicking in as he charged after the beast. His A++ speed a little slower than the creatures but his pathing was more direct. Even as the bugs attacked the villagers the entirety of their forces was battling them. Katon techniques filling the air and frying bugs left and right. They had been on alert and were already fighting back. However Tengoku had one goal. One purpose. Even as Chomei broke from the ground with an ear splitting roar Tengoku would grit his teeth. Activating his next gravity technique the moment he saw the creature. Forming the snake seal as he flew straight at it. Not letting the creature out of his three hundred meter range.

Every bug for 300 meters and Chomei himself would be crushed under this pressure. With luck its flight would be limited as Tengoku used Shi-crush. The pinnacle of his gravity debuff technique. Essentially swapping who was slower with the creature as it attempted to gain advantage in the skies. Still he would see it charging up. He would shift into a blue light as he burst even faster in his flight. His sage mode activating as his hair darkened and his appearance turned younger. He was now at essentially a speed that would have rivaled the bijuu before he crushed it. Every bug within three hundred meters was turned to paste as he charged after the bijuu. It didn't hesitate however as it launched a bijuu bomb of all things. Tengoku would click his tongue against his teeth as he intercepted the bombs path. Already chasing the bijuu up into the sky. His flight pausing a hundred meters beneath the creature as he opened his mouth.

Tengoku could feel the seal weakening as it would have before his control fight. Roen was resisting him. Still the dark release seal appeared on his tongue as he opened his mouth forming seals rapidly. Horse -> Dragon > Rat > Hare at god like speeds. The bijuu bomb absorbing into his open maw before suddenly being released right back at Chomei as bright blue flames filling the air around him with all the same destructive power. An annihilating powerful force of katon energy erupting at considerably faster than the bug was. Though at the distance it might still evade or defend so Tengoku was already charging up at it at Full speed. Drawing soulstring and beginning to rapidly fire chakra draining arrows once he was within twenty meters as fast as his god tier coordination would allow center mass. Attempting to get at least ten arrows into it in an instant. Tengoku was clearly angry. But for now he would begin by attacking the beasts chakra reserves. He couldn't absorb all of its chakra attacks with how it was weakening his seal. Still he was alert and watching for counter attacks.

Description: Hero Water is a specialized liquid from Takigakure. It is produced once every one hundred years from the giant tree that hides the village. The amount stored up over the centuries is the equivalent to 24 uses after which the Hero Water runs out and 100 IC years must past before it can be renewed. Upon drinking Hero Water, the user's chakra levels will skyrocket and their body will be invigorated. However, frequent consumption of Hero Water will lower the user's lifespan. Hero Water can only be safely consumed once every 6 IRL months. If it is consumed more than once every 6 IRL months then the user's total experience cap will be lowered by 2,000 Experience Points (thereby limiting/removing skill points and whatever perks are acquired). This will continue until the user hits 0 Experience at which point they die.

Description: A Wakizashi made of the finest materials and specifically for Tengoku Shinku, the Paladin of Konoha. With a blade of Midnight Ore and a hilt of Adamantite wrapped with Magnetic Metal; Tengoku Kaeri no Ken has no equal. It is delicately etched with images of storms and wolves, each engraving meticulously inlaid with gold to subtly enhance the black metal surface. It’s sheath is made of the same metals, adding strength to even its protective covering and has ties made of Magnetic Metal affixed to the sheath with more Midnight Ore and set with small rubies. Kaeri no Ken:

Beyond being a masterfully created X-Rank weapon, this Wakizashi has multiple properties that offer an edge in combat due to both the materials it is created with and the secret methods used to create it. Kaeri no Ken was created with Tengoku’s Lightning affinity in mind, and offers a +1 Tier to any Raiton techniques channeled through it due to the multiple conductive metals used in its construction. As a result of the Magnetic Metal used to create it, it offers both the functionality of Magnetic Metal, The user may ‘summon’ Magnetic Metal (or the item created from it) from a distance of up to 500m, this occurs at S-Rank Speed and requires an activation of chakra similar to Explosive Tags. This does not require line of sight, though it does require the user be attuned to the metal/item. (This takes up an attunement slot and is done via update.) If the Magnetic Metal is only a piece of a whole item, the Magnetic Metal will also bring with it the rest of the item (e.g. a sword hilt will bring the whole sword, a bracer will also bring the straps that hold it etc.), and +2 tiers to Coordination due to its superior craftsmanship. It also treats anything the blade interacts with as one tier lower than its listed hardness due to the Midnight Ore in the blade. The sheath has all of the same properties as the blade and may be used independently of the blade, though for obvious reasons is limited in its use as it is blunt.

Description: The Sensing Technique is the basic method of Sensory that is automatically granted once the Sensory Skill is unlocked. Perception determines the potency of the user's ability, extending the range as listed above. The classic use of sensory is almost a passive ability, requiring only that the cost be paid to maintain awareness. There is also a focused variation through which the user can double the range by making physical contact with an object via the hands or fingers. Whichever object is touched is the medium for range extension, meaning that beyond the original range value, only things making contact with the medium can be detected. This medium is almost always the ground.

The medium doesn't need to be the ground, and while using the ability inside a building will transmit one's sensing across all walls, floors, ceilings, and the ground upon which the building stands, there are other structures which may not be tied to the ground. Using this inside a blimp or other aircraft, for example, will extend the user's range over the aircraft, up to the maximum range, which may well cover the entire aircraft. Given that an aircraft isn't making contact with anything, the user's sensory range will be limited to that aircraft.

The Sensing Technique allows the user to perceive any of the following about any target within range: total and current chakra level, elements, exact location, and whether or not they have a kkg. However, they can only know if the target has a KKG if the user has encountered that KKG's chakra in the past. The technique is also able to detect whether any of the targets are under the influence of Genjutsu, as well as if the user himself is under the influence of Genjutsu.

Drawbacks: Focusing the range forces one to remain in place. Anything not making contact with the medium cannot be sensed with the extended range; this won't help them if they're within the base range, however, as they can still be sensed as normal. The Sensing Technique is not a passive process and will require activation; if the cost is not being paid, the technique is not active. This technique is also required as a prerequisite for most Sensory-related techniques and abilities, excluding only a certain few. This cannot be used to ascertain stacked Genjutsu, only whichever Genjutsu the target/user is suffering from at that particular moment.

Weaknesses: All rules and restrictions pertaining to Flight are applicable to this technique. When this technique is active, the user's body will be covered in a strange Fuuinjutsu formula. They may even glow (optional) a unique color. The appearance of these strange sealing tattoos across their body is an indicator of this technique's rarity and power.

Description: The user will spread their Jūryoton chakra throughout their immediate surroundings. In doing so, they will create a 300 meter dome with their own body as the center. Within this dome, the user will able to manipulate gravity in such a way that all targeted opponents within their gravitational field (known as their Field of Defiance) will experience a debuff of -2 Tiers to each of their Coordination, Strength and Speed stats. This is owing to the weight and pressure that has been exerted by the artificial gravitational force. This field moves with the user being at the center allowing it to be a formidable barrier to engaging in close quarters with the enemy.
Weaknesses: The debuffs are removed once the opponent moves out of the Field of Defiance. This formulation of the Field of Defiance is incredibly powerful but quite taxing. It can only be maintained for three posts and can only be used once per thread. The creation of the Field of Defiance always manifests a complex web of Fuuinjutsu which leaks from beneath the user's feet upon the casting of this technique. The Fuuinjutsu stretches about 1m in every direction. While it has no intrinsic properties, it does function as a tell that something unnatural is afoot.

Description: With this technique, the user can now expel the chakra they have absorbed into light blue flames that burn at the same intensity as a generic Katon jutsu. The flames are emitted through the lower square mark on their hand and hit with a Strength equivalent to the absorbed technique's rank. It is possible for the user at this stage to create a variety of custom techniques involving such blue flames. The user may now also use techniques that they have absorbed against other opponents even if they lack the appropriate element. The user can only perform these absorbed techniques assuming they have not added the chakra to their own reserves or spent that chakra on any blue flame variant of the Judgment technique. This essentially means that any techniques they absorb and wish to perform again must be stored separately and saved for such a purpose.
Weaknesses: The user must reach the appropriate level of bloodline progression to use this technique. This technique ordinarily prohibits the use of advanced element techniques although this restriction is sidestepped when the user reaches the final stage of the bloodline progression.

Description: This technique allows the user to absorb chakra from the opponent, both at range and externalized chakra, using the Kama embedded in their hand, or their mouth. This technique allows the user to not only absorb but redeploy techniques from advanced elements that are usually the result of Kekkei Genkai. They are beholden to the same restrictions as the previous stage regarding absorption and redeployment (techniques must be stored separately, the user may not absorb the technique into their reserves and redeploy it using their own chakra). Additionally, at this stage the user's range with Inhaling Maw is expanded from 20 meters to 30 meters when they inhale techniques through their mouth.

When the opponent's chakra has been absorbed, the Mikiri are also able to "taste" the other elements the opponent(s) possess, and can deduce from this sensory information, which element they rely upon most as their Nature Affinity. When "Singularity" is activated in response to a technique, the incoming attack's speed is adjusted as if it were -2 Tiers lower than normal (To provide reasonable response time). Absorption rate remains the same.

Weaknesses:  The user must reach the appropriate level of bloodline progression to use this technique. While utilizing Singularity the user must stand in place (they cannot walk or run while absorbing techniques). This leaves them somewhat vulnerable if only for the short period of time it takes for absorption to occur (absorption generally occurs within a single post however depending on how large the ninjutsu is, some may take longer than others). Singularity cannot absorb techniques through barrier techniques B Rank and above. The user may only absorb one technique at a time. While they do not need to have the necessary elements to redeploy a technique, they must have the appropriate fighting style.

It was chilly out and Airi stood upon the rooftops of Konohagakure. The quake and the chill that ran down her spine put her and the rest of the village on-edge. The villagers were already told to stay alert and that something or someone was coming. Something powerful and something tremendous. She placed her hands upon either side of her hips where the Weaknessless Soaring Shortswords resided -- her final gift from Hanabi before she took off. Her breath could be seen with every exhale, it was cold but not blisteringly so, as the weather began to slowly warm up as spring began to take over. Her, and many other shinobi, have been placed on 12 hour shifts in order to keep watch and to wait.

There were reports of silence within the Senju Forest -- an unnatural silence that brought a hush to the fauna. Animals were hushed and went into hiding and even the bugs were hushed to silence having fled the general area. This information, of course, was kept from being made public under a gag order. She didn't want to sow discord where she went. Looking around, she noticed Tengoku nearby and just kept an eye out on him. Rubbing her hands together, she stepped from side-to-side to keep her body warm as the kimono she wore didn't offer much protection from from the cold. She looked around for a moment before activating her Byakkugan as everything went silent. The wind, the rustling of the wind through the trees -- nothing. There was pure silence.

Here it comes! Airi moved her hand down to her throat and put the mask over her face and summoned her 6 Adamantine Sealing chains. Two chains ran down her sides, like they were additional limbs, on both sides of her torso while one chain, each, appeared out of her wrists, hanging limply like they were prison shackles. As the silence grew deafening, she moved the tips of both chains that were attached to her wrists and placed a temporary Flying Thunder God seal upon the tips of each chain (dubbed Chains 1 and 2 for now on).

The sun was soon blotted out of the sky as Tengoku started to order people to evacuate. It was coming! It was coming! The black cloud started to descend and Airi activated her Sage Mode.

Her face and flesh melted away to give way to a new form. A demonic creature draped in all red, appearing to look like blood. The demonic creature, one blessed by the Elder Gods, let out a horrifying roar. Just the very sight of Airi was enough to drive citizens to a more secure place. "Everyone, get to the Hokage Mountain and stay hidden!" she shouted out, her voice sounding like 10 people speaking in unison.

Something caught her eye. A rumbling shook the house she was on, causing her to 'step-up' upon the air, standing on air above the house as if it was a solid object -- with each step making not a single sound. She quickly activated her Kata as well as her Honed Gentle Fist style simultaneously. Out from the earth appeared a monstrous creature appeared from the ground with a deafening roar. Seeing the monstrous creature for the first time struck her with both fear and excitement. Anticipation and horror both swirled into a confusing mixture of emotions. "That's what you look like! Good! I expected nothing less!" she shouted out. It seemed the creature spawned directly between herself and Tengoku, leaving her towards the creature's back.

Stepping up on the air again, she ran up a steep angle to meet it (S++ speed) where it raised to approximately 500m into the air, looking down to see the destruction in it's spawn. Houses were ejected outwards leaving a gaping hole where the monstrous creature had spawned from. She continued to run up the air, keeping at least a 50 meter buffer between herself and the creature. Just moments before reaching it's apex height, she could see a large chakra reaction coming from the creature. The gravity technique felt heavy against Chomei and this was her chance.

As the creature was continuing to rise, she continued stepping up on the air behind it, she stretched her arms out and released Chains 1 and two out towards the Bijuu, attacking it while it's back was turned. It was at this moment that the creature reached it's apex height and shot out the Bijuu Bomb. Her chains weren't fast enough to reach but she had hoped that her chains would reach out and attempt to wrap around either the bulbous head-portion of the bug or the long shaft-like portion of the bug (Phrasing, i know).

Something was amiss. Something was wrong. The Ten-Tailed beast stirred as something in the world had piqued its interest. As a Jinchurki he was different then the ones on Earth. But still Seid was able to sense something going on as well. He was in the middle of the village looking for Yui as she had wandered off away from him. But when Karaku roared within his mind, he turned on his sensory and sensed the rumbling. A bijuu was barreling through the underground! Seid instantly prepared for battle, he wore no armor but his weapons were on him. Such things were no use against a monster of this magnitude. Rinnegan activated he could clearly see a cloud of insects coming towards the village at a frightening pace.

Things were about get real chaotic real fast. As if to answer that, an explosion rocked the village as a humongous being erupted from the ground. In it the 7-tailed beast Chomei sprang into the air and started to make it was into the sky. Seid could also see two individuals reacting to the beast. Tengoku whom had turned into his own unique transformation. He possessed the ability of flight with his doujoutsu as well. There was another whom he did not know, but they also were jumping through the sky. A red chakra basking from her showing immense power coming from her.

Good. There was some to help fight the bijuu. They needed to move the bijuu away from the village. Fighting it would cause immense damage. He then clapped his hands together and a portal opened in front of him and that led to another portal 500 meters into the sky and 50 meters behind the bijuu as it reached its apex. He stepped through and began use his levitation. There was the other woman as well who began to use chains to try and attack it from behind. Tengoku was already trying to stop the bijuu attack and redirect it.

Seid had something in mind. A small portal opened in front of Seid. Another small portal appeared right in the center of the back of Chomei and a meter away. The Otsutsuki then stuck his right hand threw the portal, as he did a black ball was created in his palm and fired right at the bijuu. Pulling his hands back quickly and closing the portals. Seid focused the Chibaku Tensei's gravity pull soley on the tailed beast and it would not effect Tengoku or Airi. If connected Seid would direct the the ball to pull the bijuu away from the village for about 1k meters away.

A hunter must always be aware of their surroundings, ensuring that they are ever-present and ready to react when their prey presents themselves. The same goes for if the hunter finds themselves in the position of the hunted. Sera’s instincts fired off mental alarm bells as she walked through the streets of Konoha when she noticed the lack of birds chirping and flying through the air. There was always some sort of calm before the storm, but there wasn’t time for her to figure out why the birds were absent. Darkness spread across the village as some sort of strange cloud appeared to block out the sun.

A storm cloud? No, its different than that…

With a quick blink, geometric patterns began to shine on Sera’s violet eyes and her kekkai genkai’s ability began to take effect. Her ability to see improved by a bit, but not enough to make a difference from this far away. The abnormal quiet in the village began to become replaced by a light buzzing noise that grew louder with every second.

Maybe I should get a closer look?

The earth began to shake and Sera immediately took a knee in an attempt to stabilize herself. Civilians began to run for cover, children fell to the ground and chaos began to spread around her. The sudden earthquake was over in an instant as a gigantic creature shot out of the ground in the distance and took to the sky.

An ear-splitting screech reverberated through the streets forcing everyone to grab at their ears, Sera included. The screech stopped, but the buzzing was almost deafening at this point. Evacuation orders could be barely heard amidst the panic, but villagers ran their hardest to get to their nearest evacuation zones.

I…I can’t do anything to help with this. That would be madness.

But what was this creature? Sera had been told stories of her clan working hard to try and subdue and fight demons and tailed beasts. Whatever it was, it was definitely monstrous. Although she couldn’t fight the monster, she would do her best to observe and learn from the encounter. Using observation techniques she learned from her hunting, Sera kept an eye on the creature as she retreated away from it and towards the evacuation zone, using the rooftops to avoid the civilian foot traffic. A bright flash illuminated the sky and two more figures appeared to seemingly combat the creature.

Sera did her best to observe history in the making.

Yui and Yua were enjoying a nice quiet day but Yui had been feeling these crazy sensations lately, like something was trying to drive her mad. Suddenly she clenched her chest as she felt a powerful force, it seemed a tailed beast appeared in Konoha. This was insane they never attacked villages like this and even inside her, the beast was feeling mad. It was almost to the point it made her want to snap and end everything but she snapped back to reality and realized she was going to have to help the village. They rushed to the scene seeing Airi going into some crazy form as well as seeing Seid and others helping. Yui would motion for Yua to try to evacuate and help anyone injured, she would attempt to merge with Airi to give her an extra boost in power. Yui had no way to catch up to Airi but she would try to call out to her. She was approximately 200 meters from Airi.

"Airi come get me I can merge with you and greatly increase your power and chakra, hurry it's hard enough to control the beast inside me and I sure don't want this idiot tempting it."

She would be prepared to take evasive actions if needed, she kept her eyes locked onto the beast, her own monster wanted out so badly, not to say hi but to crush the interloper.

The lowly humans set up on Chomei almost instantly, he could feel the weight of their chakra making it harder for him to move. While it would slow him down, he would not let it stop him. The slower movement however allowed the humans to get close to him, as he fired off the tailed beast bomb, Chomei would let out a screech as he saw it absorbed by one of the humans before a wave of blue fire would come towards him. Chomei would fold his wings in behind him leaving only his hard exoskeleton exposed to the flames, taking the hit was nothing to him. Unlike the bugs that's followed him he was not so weak when it came to fire and what damage was caused to his exoskeleton would heal almost instantly. He felt the presence of others behind him, but before he could turn around he felt a sudden pressure that would keep him in his place unable to move.

That's when everything would change, Building's below Chomei would beging ripping up from the ground moving towards him until they were 50 meters away from him. The humans that were in the air would also be pulled to him, even the chains that would of likely wrapped around him would lose their momentum and move towards the black sphere that was on Chomei's back. Everything within 500 meters was pulled in. The arrows that were fired were pulled in and unfortunately for Chomei he was in the path of them however only five would get fired off before the pull of whatever this was struck and pulled the archer in as well. 5 arrows would strike his exoskeleton and while they did not pierce the shell, he could feel the small portion of his chakra draining from them being held against him by this strange thing. Resistance was useless, he couldn't fight back against it as it slowly moved him over the village ripping up buildings as it moved along causing just as much damage as he would if he was free to move. Deep down beneath the snarls of rage, Chomei would smile at this destruction. He wouldn't waste time trying to break free and instead coat his body in Rinkaichu, while normally he wouldn't allow someone close enough to him for him to need to use such a technique. Now with three humans pressed against him by an unknown force, it seemed the perfect opportunity to use it.

Airi's eyes illuminated, picking up thousands of small chakra signatures forming on the skin of the massive creature and before her chains were able to latch on to the massive kaiju-sized monstrosity, a black hole appeared just feet in front of the beast. She created a Flying Thunder God Seal upon her left and right palm (10 CP) as she felt herself being pulled in. Urgency started to cause Airi's blood to pump and her heart to pound in her chest. Fear? No. Irritation that this came from an alien that just appeared from out of nowhere?

She had to do something and she had to do something fast. She formed a series of handseals: 5 specific handseals (taking 0.38 seconds) before thrusting her arms out and created a barrier outwards, (Sage Enhanced Guiding Thunder) projecting it out just shy of touching the fledgling Chibaku Tensei in front of her at a 20x20 meter square. She didn't resist the pull and let the Chibaku Tensei cross over the barrier before sending it to the Northwest Gate of Konohagakure (Here). Once the Chibaku Tensei was sent away, to possibly their most traveled gate, she turned her attention to look towards the giant beast, now only about 2 meters away from it. The creepy crawling she saw with her Byakkugan caused her to recoil. She hated bugs with a passion, enough that it would even overpower the Elder God's influence upon her. A shiver crawled up her spine,

"Do not touch the beast! It has an infectious bug upon it!" she shouted out loud enough for Tengoku to hear from the other side of the creature, recalling seeing these bugs from Anzo Aburame. She pulled her chains back as she moved her hand up to her mouth, biting her thumb to let out a bit of blood -- just enough to fulfill her summoning contract. She leapt back a few meters, now being about 5 meters from the creature and slammed her palm against the ground as a summoning formula appeared in the air (wherever her foot touches is considered the ground for her as per Cosmic Sage Mode's exclusive perk) and a phoenix rises. Without hesitation, the phoenix flapped it's wings, flying towards the creature before doing a fly-by, shooting off an ember. If the ember struck Chomei, it would begin to catch on fire (Summon Custom Technique: Purifying Flame). This should be enough to burn away all of those pesky bugs.

"We will not merge with you! We are plenty enough already!" she shouted out towards the female of the twins.

Amid a leisurely stroll to the food market Tōri’s thoughts of cooking were drowned out by an intensifying buzzing noise that built to a climatic screech as one of the infamous tailed beasts erupted from below the village causing the ground to quake. The swarm of bugs that seemed to herald the large insect ravaged the many trees and plants in the aptly named village hidden in the leaves. Were the situation not so dire Tōri would have let out an exasperated sigh at the mundane work he could see in store for himself once this calamity was over. While the region was quite naturally abundant with trees and foliage, the only reason the village remained hidden in its many leaves after countless catastrophes was in large part thanks to the efforts of the Senju clan regrowing them. Instead, he looked past himself and towards the multitudes of helpless citizens who needed looking after, thankfully there were heavy hitters from the village engaging the beast in the distance.

Though as these heroic figures engaged a great number of buildings and people were ripped from the ground in a terrific upending of the natural order of gravity, holding the beast in place but certainly dealing a good deal of collateral damage in the process. Such is the toll of such a fight in the village center. It was far from unprecedented for such calamities to take place in such a populated space, Tōri was just glad it was not the beast that scored the destructive hit as it would have been far more disastrous.

Following the maddened foot traffic towards the evacuation centers Tōri did his best to placate the riled up crowds from trampling over each other and to ensure no lives were lost in their panic. After pacifying the jumpy crowd Tōri moved up to the roof to get a better vantage point. Up at his vantage point he saw a fellow shinobi watching like a hawk as the citizens funneled their way to relative safety. From a quick glance the kunoichi looked to be no older than a teenager and was positioned to keep the bijū within her peripherals. Quickly hopping over he landed on the same roof as the girl and gave her an approving nod before rejoining the watching of the crowds and action far off in the distance. It was a sobering fact that Tōri had been relegated to evacuation duty, but he didn’t mind. He knew it was folly for him to go out and try to lend a hand, being where one was needed best was no dishonor no matter the position. For now he would be silent, though the jōnin would offer a hand of support on the shoulder of Sera.

Tengoku would be focused on the fight. However his gravity sight would note a sudden shift as he saw the blackhole forming. It was not ideal for where they were fighting and he was alarmed as he prepared to try and counter it somehow. Half his arrows getting sucked off target as he snarled. Damn if he didn't recognize that gravity signature. However much to their luck Airi was faster with a solution than he was. Sending the orb far away and saving the village in a moments notice. He would fold his bow and attach it to the small of his back as she called out not to touch the creature due to the wave of bugs on it. He was well aware of the fact but he would take her advice under consideration. She was right though in the fact that he did not want to touch that thing. Instead his gaze would find the alien responsible for almost wiping out a chunk of the village and he would rapidly fly down. What he needed was on the ground anyway but for now Airi was keeping the beast occupied. Still he would stop within earshot of Seid and shout.

"Watch what jutsu you use in my village or I will put you in the ground right next to this bug!"

He threatened the man trying to help. He was on edge with this bug but the truth was that jutsu if Airi hadn't stopped it could have ripped up half the village with how he intended to use it and killed thousands. He expected more (Though that was not the actual intent) from the man. Still he would frown at the twins and him before continuing. "Clear the area under the Bijuu. I'm bringing that thing down back the way it came up. " He would state before landing next to a tower that had fallen. He didn't sense any chakra within so he would form the tiger seal and touch it. Making the whole tower no heavier to him then a spear as his odd dark chakra ink would spread across it. Gravity virtually ignoring the entire building as he gripped it and hoisted it up. Flying straight back up at full speed and up above the bug. Turning in a backwards movement before Releasing it for a second and forming the ram seal and touching it once more.

The tower would shift from being weightless to so heavy it would have collapsed under its own weight normally. With that he would drive the super heavy building sized spear down into Chomei from above and with a roar drive it straight back down with all his might. The super weighted building backed by A++ strength would drive the poor creature straight down ideally with the length of the building between Tengoku and it. The speed of it Hitting S++ Straight down into the ground where it had emerged. Reducing any more damage by keeping it centralized since it flew straight up. He was hoping such a massive hit would stun it or at least pin it down since it had so little strength under his gravity. He would snarl like a wolf with his canines showing as the impact would throw up a dust cloud in every direction. He was done playing touch and go with this beast. Airi would only have to hold its attention for a matter of seconds while he collected his building and flew above it. That's right. The paladin of Konoha was using a building to spear a bijuu back into the ground from whence it came.

"Seal it while I hold it down Airi!"

Description: The Sensing Technique is the basic method of Sensory that is automatically granted once the Sensory Skill is unlocked. Perception determines the potency of the user's ability, extending the range as listed above. The classic use of sensory is almost a passive ability, requiring only that the cost be paid to maintain awareness. There is also a focused variation through which the user can double the range by making physical contact with an object via the hands or fingers. Whichever object is touched is the medium for range extension, meaning that beyond the original range value, only things making contact with the medium can be detected. This medium is almost always the ground.

The medium doesn't need to be the ground, and while using the ability inside a building will transmit one's sensing across all walls, floors, ceilings, and the ground upon which the building stands, there are other structures which may not be tied to the ground. Using this inside a blimp or other aircraft, for example, will extend the user's range over the aircraft, up to the maximum range, which may well cover the entire aircraft. Given that an aircraft isn't making contact with anything, the user's sensory range will be limited to that aircraft.

The Sensing Technique allows the user to perceive any of the following about any target within range: total and current chakra level, elements, exact location, and whether or not they have a kkg. However, they can only know if the target has a KKG if the user has encountered that KKG's chakra in the past. The technique is also able to detect whether any of the targets are under the influence of Genjutsu, as well as if the user himself is under the influence of Genjutsu.

Drawbacks: Focusing the range forces one to remain in place. Anything not making contact with the medium cannot be sensed with the extended range; this won't help them if they're within the base range, however, as they can still be sensed as normal. The Sensing Technique is not a passive process and will require activation; if the cost is not being paid, the technique is not active. This technique is also required as a prerequisite for most Sensory-related techniques and abilities, excluding only a certain few. Chaos continued to infect the village like a plague as more shinobi entered the fray, throwing their earth shattering techniques out and about to try and subdue the invader. The surrounding area in proximity of the insectoid monster was thoroughly wrecked, but the konohagakure defense force was doing their best to keep damages to a minimum. One of the figures in the distance seemed to lift a fallen building as if it were paper mache and began to wield it as a weapon. Sera couldn't help her jaw from falling at the extreme powers at work.

Although she was preoccupied with watching the monsters clash in the village center, Sera was still able to observe what looked like another high level shinobi approach her. She hadn't been paying too much attention to what he was doing, but it seemed like maybe he was giving orders? Was he here to make her evacuate as well? If there was an option for her to continue to observe here, she would definitely take it.

With a quick nod to her, it seemed like the newcomer approved of her observations. She would give him a nod back and continue to consume all that she could from the fight. Sera knew that with years of training, she might be able to do something like this as well, but a part of her had her doubts. Could she really get her bow to do the same amount of damage as a falling building? Seemed unlikely. The kunoichi would continue to watch, but would ready herself to flee if the danger seemed to approach.

The peaceful day turned into pure chaos within a matter of seconds, one minute everything was fine, the next a huge bug came crawling out of the ground in the middle of the village. Alarms were sounded and evacuation of the area was immediate, Nao and a few other recently appointed Genin were assigned to the evacuation team. As much as he would have liked to help fight the giant creature, he knew there was little that he could actually do to help. Nao would stick to his assigned task, through activating his Byakugan he would keep watch over the situation, so that if the danger came towards them he could at least provide advanced warning. With the villagers squared away in the safety of a bunker, Nao would move out with the rest of his emergency squad to look for any stragglers. They would maintain a distance from the actual battle in their search, a group of genin such as themselves would just get in the way and get themselves and others killed.
When the northwestern gate suddenly started imploding creating a large boulder floating in the air, Nao's attention would be briefly drawn to it. Luckily they were far enough away from the gate that they were not pulled in by whatever it was that happened, Nao's attention turning back to the fight just as a building came crashing down on the bug. 'Where did the building come from, and how did a building get into the air?' He would think to himself, but before he could even finish the thought they would find more citizens fleeing the chaos. Nao and his group would start escorting the citizens towards the bunker, the watchful gaze of his Byakugan keeping the fight within his sights.

Chomei was dragged around by the Chibaku Tensei for a moment, unable to fight its effect due to the gravitational field that Tengoku was afflicting it with. Fortunately, however, the red headed woman chose to teleport the orb away, as its pull was indiscriminate. That left only the wolf-man's gravitational influence to be dealt with, although for now the only way to deal with it seemed to be pushing through it.

Angered by the response time of its opponents, Chomei tracked the tower's movements as Tengoku flew up into the air. While his gravity was slowing Chomei down to move, it did nothing to halt the speed of its ability to gather chakra. It just needed a moment to protect itself from the attacks coming its way.

The armor that made up their exo-skeleton was a hard chitin, and by funneling chakra into it, Chomei was able to protect themself for a time, hardening the exo-skeleton to the utmost degree. Seeming to grow in size, the Chitin expanded as layers of the armor were made inside of it, and the old armor began to get pushed outward. For now, it just needed to endure. They would regret challenging a Bijuu soon enough.

Chomei quickly charged powerful beams of chakra, and like a turret, began to blast them at its enemies. The first beam would tear up and through the tower as it was launched downwards, Tengoku's flight upwards and telegraphing of the plan giving Chomei's slow body enough time to move its head slightly up, obliterating the building that could barely support its own weight, the beam continuing up towards Tengoku. It slightly turned its head to direct a second blast at Seid, as Airi's phoenix fire consumed the armor around it. Thankfully, while the bugs on the exo-skeleton were incinerated, the outer shell was holding up for now, although Chomei could tell that wouldn't last and would begin to cook through it soon enough.

Unable to turn and see the phoenix and the Hyuuga girl, Chomei let out a roar of anger, releasing a Tailed Beast Shockwave, the girl and the phoenix were close enough that they would be blown away by the force of the chakra as the ground cratered around it. Airi would likely be fine, the goal was to send her flying or create distance, not purely do damage, but the Phoenix should be consumed by the sheer power of its chakra exploding outwards.

The ground beneath Chomei would crater and blow outward, sending shrapnel and rocks hurling off into the distance, peppering the village and the walls with the resulting force. The massive Bijuu's power demanded respect; these humans would not make a mockery of it. However, it wouldn't be able to maintain this level of output long. Despite them being small, the humans were causing it to burn through its chakra exceedingly fast.

The fire from the phoenix was enough to burn away the incessant bugs that plagued it's skin. While it's flesh was burning, she waited and waited and waited for her chance to strike, moving within 5 feet from the creature. As she waited, she approached the flames before the flames vanished due to a hardened exterior. She thrust her hands forward once the new chitinous armor was placed around the creature, Chains 1 and 2, the ones attached to her forearms shot out in an attempt to bind the creature from behind with her Adamantine Sealing Chains. The chains 3 and 4, the ones that were coming out of her left side shot around at different angles while chains 5 and 6, the ones coming out of her right side shot out around to flank it's right.

Chain 1, the one extending out of her left hand moved towards the beast to wrap it up around it's phallic shaped body around it's left side.

Chain 2, the one extending out of her right hand moved towards the beast to wrap it up around it's phallic shaped body around it's right side.

Chain 3, the one directly under her left arm-pit shot forward in an attempt to simply touch it, in order to seal off it's chakra before it does any more.

Chain 4, the one directly under Chain 3, shot upwards to grab one of it's wiry arms.

Chain 5, the one directly under her right arm-pit shot forward towards the more bulbous head of the creature to simply touch it, to get it's chakra to stop flowing.

Chain 6, the on directly under Chain 5, shot to the other side to attempt to snack around the creature's face and attempt to coil around it's mouth.

Whether or not the chains were successful in binding the creature, she had the advantage of being at it's rear. She drew the blades, a gift from Hanabi, before rushing forward and clumsily slashing at the exoskelton while the phoenix stood by and awaited orders.

As Tōri climbed the buildings to reach Sera it seemed much had transpired that he had missed. Firstly, the ball of energy tearing houses from their foundation was no longer on top of the bijū and the northern gate looked to have erupted in a terrific manner. Those heroic figures in the distance continued to press forward, even as the beast continued to loose beams of energy that seemed to hold the destructive capability to raze entire blocks of their village. It was thanks to these shinobi on the frontline that allowed members like himself and Sera to aid the powerless civilians to safety to keep casualties to a minimum. There was still much to be learned from watching such a fight unfold, even now he could see the brilliant yellow chains of his heritage being utilized by the crimson clad shinobi in a moment of true contention with the rampaging insect. The other two combatants seem to be capable of flying astoundingly, with one of them throwing an entire building at the seven-tails in a tremendous display of strength.

While their was much to learn from the fight, Tōri had to make sure watching this fight was his secondary objective with the safe flow of civilians being his primary focus. The streets below were thankfully starting to thin as most of the civilians had made it out of harm's way and into the emergency shelters. He hoped there weren't any stubborn stragglers that refused to get to safety, there was able some troublesome ones even at times like this.

Tengoku would sense the chakra building and knew quickly his attack had been too obvious even against a rampaging beast. He would immediately release the building and his hand would shoot to his Wakizashi. The moment he touched it his reflexes reached god like speed. He would draw the wakizashi and raise it above his head. Even as the beam tore up the building Tengoku would calmly let the golden lightning arc in his blade. His chakra rapidly charging it before he swing down to meet the beam. His own Wakizashi slash becoming a hundred meter long three meter wide golden sword of raiton energy as it split the beam around him. The two powerful S rank jutsu canceling each other out as the beast was far from done. He was also keeping tabs on where Airi and her chains were as getting caught up in those chains would without a doubt cause this battle to turn for him. His sage mode was gradually draining his limited nature chakra and he could see the exoskeleton had formed. So it was tougher now and the phoenix flame had done nothing to harm it. However the bugs on its person had been burned away. The fact that it was still flying under his gravity was annoying.

Tengoku would surge forward as it turned away from him to target others. While it was doing this it let out a rage filled scream and sent out a shockwave that luckily Tengoku was far enough away from that it didn't blast him. Tengoku would grit his teeth in a sneer at the rage induced rage inducing bijuu before him. If he could utilize Roen he would be able to do a lot more. As it stood however he could feel Roen raging within. An odd sensation given he was usually docile and napping. Still Tengoku would brace himself as he felt the shockwaves after blast. Even outside of its range the wave would wash over him. The sheer power and rage was palpable in the bijuu as it fought them. Why it had come to konoha was beyond him but he could not let this continue. He would continue his charge at full speed from above as his X rank wakizashi aimed for where the wings connected. A passing slice avoiding the chains as he shot passed it. Attempting to cut off its wings as the evacuation continued.

Tengoku would fly passed it and gain a good sixty meters distance. If it kept using that burst he would have to time his attacks. Still he would shift the wakizashi in his hand. Adjusting to a reverse grip as he checked to see if his cut had the desired effect to take it out of the sky. A ground battle would be preferable in most cases as he needed to get Airi a chance to seal it. Still he was being cautious as he watched for counter moves. even If the bug was slow and enraged it still held a lot of power. One direct hit could end him. Nor did he want to continue to use Roens chakra absorption as he could feel his seal weakened.

Description: The Sensing Technique is the basic method of Sensory that is automatically granted once the Sensory Skill is unlocked. Perception determines the potency of the user's ability, extending the range as listed above. The classic use of sensory is almost a passive ability, requiring only that the cost be paid to maintain awareness. There is also a focused variation through which the user can double the range by making physical contact with an object via the hands or fingers. Whichever object is touched is the medium for range extension, meaning that beyond the original range value, only things making contact with the medium can be detected. This medium is almost always the ground.

The medium doesn't need to be the ground, and while using the ability inside a building will transmit one's sensing across all walls, floors, ceilings, and the ground upon which the building stands, there are other structures which may not be tied to the ground. Using this inside a blimp or other aircraft, for example, will extend the user's range over the aircraft, up to the maximum range, which may well cover the entire aircraft. Given that an aircraft isn't making contact with anything, the user's sensory range will be limited to that aircraft.

The Sensing Technique allows the user to perceive any of the following about any target within range: total and current chakra level, elements, exact location, and whether or not they have a kkg. From Sera's quaint little lookout atop some random pedestrian's rooftop it seemed like the world was ending. The gigantic insect monster had covered itself in a layer of hard armor, but one of Konohagakure’s defenders fought back with some sort of giant fiery bird. Flames had completely engulfed the bug and for a moment, Sera was sure that the fight was over. Oh that was definitely not the case though. The monster began firing some sort of crazy chakra beams and had destroyed the building that was getting dropped on it and continued to thrash around, causing more tremors throughout the village.

Sera periodically would dash down from her rooftop venue and help some of the evacuating civilians who fell down. It wasn’t rare that people were trampled in a panic, and she made sure she helped pick anyone up that needed her. When she was able to return to her rooftop to continue observing she witnessed several long chakra tendrils that seemed to be some sort of chain technique. The two humanoid forms dancing around the sky who Sera assumed were Konohagakure’s protectors were seemingly invincible. Everything the gigantic bug threw at them, they were able to mitigate with ease. Well, everything but some collateral damage to the village. It was a good thing that mostly everyone had evacuated at this point. There would most definitely be some missions coming Sera’s way to help repair and fix up the village after this.

With the last of the villager's passing by him to get to safety, Nao would focus his attention back on to the battle. Zooming in on it through his byakugan, he would see it all in perfect clarity. The battle heated up as fire engulfed the monster, though the creature seemed unaffected by it as powerful beams shot from it's mouth. The building was decimated by one beam before it was cut by a blade of lightning, another beam looked like it hit one of those that had been fighting the beast. Chains from Airi would begin to wrap around the monster, he wasn't sure how well it would work. He could see the chakra flowing through the chains, as if they were made up of chakra itself. He wasn't sure if it would work to stop the creature, but he had to assume that the ones that were defending the village knew what they were doing. He had to believe that they would be able to stop it, or else the village would fall. The best the village had to offer was up there fighting it, if they couldn't do it then there would be no one to stop it.

It had delayed things marginally, and even struck down one of its foes, the Otsutsuki being blasted by its second beam. The beam engulfed him fully and killed him outright. Due to his levitation, he was high enough in the air that everyone had a front row seat to it. Even if it wasn't able to take down the entire village in its assault, it had successfully wiped out one of the Otsutsuki. After that though, it was clear that the other two were still the big threats. Airi's chains wrapped around its exoskeleton as the Phoenix's fire was extinguished off it.

The chains were incredibly strong, even if the gravity affecting Chomei wasn't present, the Bijuu didn't think it would be able to brute force them. However, with Chomei's exo-skeleton providing some level of armor, the chakra suppression abilities weren't able to latch on to its system. As Chomei's tailed beast explosion rocked out, it realized two things: Airi's physical strength wasn't that great even though she was durable enough to take the shockwave with negligible issues, and the chains kept her attached instead of blasting away from the force of the explosion, although the Phoenix wasn't and would be hit with enough force to wipe it out instantly as well, since the chains didn't work to stop it from using its shockwave.

The second thing was that Shukaku was close by.

Diving into its mental plane, time had no meaning. Communication could happen instantly between them without having correlation in real time for the length of the conversation. Reaching out to its brother, Chomei sought to connect with the 1 Tail.
"Break free from your seal and assist me brother. Together we can wipe these Shinobi away!" Of course, Chomei had no way of knowing the relationship between the Jinchuuriki and Seid, but witnessing his death might be enough to throw them over the edge and snap what control they did have.

Being so close to the 1 Tail gave Chomei the strength and resolve to continue the fight. It might be impossible to do alone, but with a sibling Bijuu, surely even opponents such as these would falter. And what of the Otsutsuki's own entity? Had the death of its captor freed it to aid, or was it going to shuffle off to whence it came, to reform elsewhere?

Chomei's tough exterior was overcome by the strikes of Tengoku's Wakizashi, although the Bijuu's pure size wouldn't allow the comparatively short blade to slice its tails off. Airi was carving through it with her weapons as well, but all Chomei could do was thrash around slowly at them, swinging as much as the chains would allow it to move. Due to pure durability and the relatively small scale wounds, Chomei wasn't bothered by the attacks even though they overcame its defenses, it would take more than that to truly harm it. With how tough it was, death by a thousand cuts would never work. In short order though, they were able to penetrate the armor, and the armored-exoskeleton fell away, the chains crushing inward to touch its true shell, binding the chakra of the beast from being utilized further.

Just then, the gravity effect on Chomei wore out. It saw a pathway to victory. While Chomei might now be bound by the chains, the tides were beginning to turn here and now, or it would shortly be taken out.

Fuck fuck fuck! How did a mid-day nap turn into this? Surely it couldn't have, this was a nightmare- just a nightmare like any other. Except, unlike the others that plagued the young Uchiha, this one was crisp and clear, and his running was too unimpeded.

And so he ran.

And that thing... Never would Natsuki dream of such a horror, much less the devastation it wrought upon the village. The screams and crashing of debris from buildings sent flying; the heavy smoke and dust that coated his skin and caked dry his mouth and nostrils, the impossible sights and sounds of jutsu hitherto unimaginable. If this wasn't a nightmare, then it was hell.

And so he ran.

"He's leading us to safety! He's a shinobi! Follow him!" A reassured crowd shouted, gathering more folks as they followed behind their presumed shinobi savior, but he was not leading them. He was running for his life, just as they were. He just happened to be up front. Don't stick your neck out, don't stick your neck out!

He believed, because he had to, that hiding among the trees was his only hope.

And so he ran.

Their chains successfully bound the creature, but not in time. Even once the chains bound Chomei, it's chakra stopping effects didn't seem to do much of anything as it blasted the Otsutsuki into particles. Thoughts ran through her mind, having noticed a massive well of chakra within the Otsutsuki, knowing this will turn out awful for everyone involved. She received the shockwave, pulled pulled away from Chomei, but the chains held strong. At the same time, the Phoenix, Pharos, spread it's wings and turned to ash once the shockwave struck, causing the summon to vanish. The shockwave, itself, wasn't a pleasant feeling, but her armor took the vast brunt of the punishment of the blast. Resheathing her blades, she needed to hurry up and end this as quickly as possible. Having been blown back about 30 meters from the creature, she started to reel the chains in and quickly dropping until she found herself directly under the creature.

Forming a series of handseals, she thrust her hands skywards before unleashing a beam of pure electricity. She withheld the width of the beam to just 10m, large enough to envelope just the Bijuu and altered her chakra manipulation to remove the blinding properties of the technique. This wasn't a technique that she used in real time before, only having trained it. Blazar Pulse was, by far, one of her most terrifying techniques that she was now only capable of using. The technique had considerable penetrative powers rivalling that of the Chidori Sharp Spear. After the technique finished, her fingers and palm began to smoke.

Directly afterwards, she snaked her hand into her kimono and opened it. Thankfully nobody will see anything special due to the current form she was in and she placed an Iron Armor Seal (Uzumaki Boosted) upon her stomach. "This one is mine!" she said, having the chains reel herself in towards the creature while she attempt to seal it within her body.

As the crowds below in the street continued to thin, unfortunately, so too did their panic rise. And not without good reason. The disastrous attack continued to rage on, while those on the front line continued to put up an impressive front the surviving shinobi ensured the damage was kept to a minimum.

He really hoped Natsuki wasn’t napping under a tree at the training grounds when this went down, no, surely he would have been out. The lad tended to have good instincts even if he didn’t know it. And although he didn’t want as young as Sera to experience this level of destruction he was glad to be by her side during it. Hardship is an unavoidable part of shinobi life and the earlier its learned, for some, the easier it can be to grasp that truth.

Leaping down from the roof he would help the frantic final villagers coming through the street, trying to ease their fears as best he could. Unable to see the fight directly from his street-level view he hoped they were making good progress, without those on the frontline there was little the rest could do but cower.

Tengoku would curse under his breath at the alien as he would perish. He knew he sensed another beast within the man. Seid would have been valuable to them had he used his techniques wisely. However the gate was gone alone with portions of the City. However his chakra sensory and sharp eyes would note that all the civilians had been evacuated finally to the mountain. He would draw his katana in his left hand and his wakizashi in his right as he felt his gravity fading. Flying down full speed to grab the bugs attention. His black and red katana made from tetsudashi steel and forged into something even stronger. With this Masaru was with him. A man he had learned savagery from. He noted Airi's position in preparing her beam and would be sure to avoid it and the chains. His weapons were strong enough to cut through this second husk of a bodies armor. Though with help he had cut off the last one. He was tired of this thing enduring him. Airi was clearly trying to seal it so he wouldn't attempt to outright kill it. Instead he would become a focus of pain that could not be ignored.

With his attention through his sensory on Yui and Seids last position for signs of danger he would almost appear in front of Chomei's face. His Katana and his wakizashi would both crackle as he would charge with electricity as he activated chakra flow. A simple technique but raising the durability of his katana to a level beyond this second layer of armor. Essentially attacking with two X rank blades at Chomei's eyes. A series of X++ slashes for the entirety of every couple of inches of eyes. A flash of light from the speed of his strikes was all almost anyone would be able to see. Before if he managed that split second of cuts the eyes would turn into a grid pattern of clean slices before Tengoku was off in a split second. Having only done these slashes in the passing moment of his charge. Flying passed the bug as the electricity would ark in his wake. The Wakizashi's electrical chakra flow in particular a rank higher than normal. It was unlikely that such a soft series of targets could tank hits from a blade that had become temporarily the strongest material on the planet while simultaneously reducing the hardness of its target.

With that done Tengoku would continue his flight and sweeping high into the sky. If Chomei could somehow still see or sense him he wanted those attacks directed upwards away from the village and facing away from the Hokage mountain. He wished his gravity could have lasted longer but for now he would just grit his canines as his dark hair hung about him. If he could just utilize Roen this would have been an easier fight and those beams would not be a threat. He was also in sage mode so his guilt for not saving the alien was muffled. Still he was starting to burn through more chakra than he would have liked. He just hoped Airi would gain some advantage for him having hopefully blinded the beast painfully.

Description: The Sensing Technique is the basic method of Sensory that is automatically granted once the Sensory Skill is unlocked. Perception determines the potency of the user's ability, extending the range as listed above. The classic use of sensory is almost a passive ability, requiring only that the cost be paid to maintain awareness. There is also a focused variation through which the user can double the range by making physical contact with an object via the hands or fingers. Whichever object is touched is the medium for range extension, meaning that beyond the original range value, only things making contact with the medium can be detected. This medium is almost always the ground.

The medium doesn't need to be the ground, and while using the ability inside a building will transmit one's sensing across all walls, floors, ceilings, and the ground upon which the building stands, there are other structures which may not be tied to the ground. Using this inside a blimp or other aircraft, for example, will extend the user's range over the aircraft, up to the maximum range, which may well cover the entire aircraft. Given that an aircraft isn't making contact with anything, the user's sensory range will be limited to that aircraft.

The Sensing Technique allows the user to perceive any of the following about any target within range: total and current chakra level, elements, exact location, and whether or not they have a kkg. However, they can only know if the target has a KKG if the user has encountered that KKG's chakra in the past. The technique is also able to detect whether any of the targets are under the influence of Genjutsu, as well as if the user himself is under the influence of Genjutsu.

Drawbacks: Focusing the range forces one to remain in place. Anything not making contact with the medium cannot be sensed with the extended range; this won't help them if they're within the base range, however, as they can still be sensed as normal. The Sensing Technique is not a passive process and will require activation; if the cost is not being paid, the technique is not active. This technique is also required as a prerequisite for most Sensory-related techniques and abilities, excluding only a certain few. This cannot be used to ascertain stacked Genjutsu, only whichever Genjutsu the target/user is suffering from at that particular moment.

Description: Chakra Flow refers to both the flowing of chakra through an object. Generic Chakra Flow simply increases the weapon's Durability OR Hardness by +1 rank. By channeling in different elements this also influences the effects by changing the nature of the chakra flow.
