Combat Training

Yuichi had been spent a lot of time training this specific jutsu, and burned through most of his chakra several time trying to do it. So he spent some time relaxing in town at a local tea shop before heading back out to his usual training spot once he had a bit of time to recover. Yuichi stepped out into his open spot in the forest and spent some time on warmups and breathing exercises. He was feeling like he had put on a lot of muscle recently, but it could be in his head. His weight hadn't changed at all. Neither had his height, regrettably.

He prepared himself by building up his chakra and taking a deep breath inward. He performed the hand signs: Rat-Snake-Horse-Snake-Dog. He exhaled a single, large blade from his mouth that collided with, and nearly chopped down a nearby tree.

Funny, he thought there was supposed to be several blades. He tried it once more, taking a deep breath in, performing the hand signs, and successfully breathing out several large blades of wind at the same tree as before, slicing straight through it this time. It collapsed into some other trees, which managed to hold up its remains. If that tree was a person, they would definitely be dead right now.

He sat down to rest. Finally, after days of practice he managed to learn the most powerfu new justu in his arsenal. He took a deep breath and drank some water from a flask that he had started carrying on him after he saw Drakon with that flask of gross smelling tea.

Once he caught his breath, he stood up and started making his way back toward the tea shop. He owed himself something nice after all that training.

For this jutsu, Yuichi found himself practicing for countless hours on his favorite stuffed animal, Donut. At some point, Donut's ear had been slightly damaged, so Yuichi sowed it back togather. He didn't do a good job, though, so one ear stuck out awkwardly to the side. Yuichi tied a red bow around his ear just like the one in his hair in order to hide the damage. It worked and now Donut was as cute as ever!

Because this was a stuffed animal, though, he had to kind of imagine performing the jutsu. Genjutsu doen't work on something that doesn't have a brain. For a moment, Yuichi thought about trying it on an animal, but that seemed like something his mother would do. It was also very cruel, and Yuichi liked animals. Except for that one dog his neighbor had that tried to bite him every time he walked past it. That was kind of irritating, and for a moment, Yuichi considered trying his genjutsu on that. But it felt wrong, so he decided against it.

The problem is that he couldn't test the jutsu in combat, and so he kept imagining the jutsu being performed he would send out chakra signals and bind his opponent in a genjutsu that immobilized them. At least, that was the idea. He entered the red light district in order to find himself an opportunity to use this genjutsu.

His opportunity came when Yuichi noticed some kind of bar fight getting out of hand. Yuichi got their attention, and performed the mental images, the chakra signals he had practiced a thousand times before. It worked exactly as intended, and the man he had just performed the genjutsu on began to stumble and tried to make his way over to Yuichi. He looked very angry, but the other man, who was losing the fight, decided that this was his chance to gain the upper hand, and attacked. This one him the fight, and Yuichi fled before the victor noticed him.
