    Final Blow Empty Final Blow

Post by Jōki Fri Dec 24, 2021 10:11 pm

    Final Blow:

The beast felt it in its chest first. The weariness and pain of constant physical torture. From the moment it had arrived, the insects had descended upon it. They were faster, stronger and more cohesive than its programming had led it to believe. These humans, these termites had found every piece of flesh and machinery that was necessary for its survival and they had destroyed it with extreme prejudice. It had tried to fight them off. It had called in every tactic, strategy, and scenario that had been embedded into its mind courtesy of the world's greatest geniuses and yet, that was not enough. It heard a voice in its own head. It sounded nothing like what had actually been repeated in the bowels of a hidden room many miles away from here. This voice was clear and without accent.

"Alkaline Protocol. Zero. Zero. Nine. Eight. Beta. Zulu. Three. Zero. Two. Rashi Tehillim Messier: ケイ素 "

First it was silent then burning. Its lungs were burning! They were on fire! It gasped and tried to exhale but instead a spray of black vomit erupted from its mouth. The oil-like substance showered up to 50% or more of the Emporium. It was odorless and tasteless but careful examination would reveal that it was a vital part of the Indaina Kujira. A liquid that could not be regenerated nor replenished in anyway. One of the beasts' lungs collapsed as some hidden device was detonated. Its took shallow and ragged breaths as its body continued to be assaulted from all angles. It had tried to defend itself and fight back, but its minions were thinning out. The first sign came with the destruction of its transmodifier from a flying pest. There were far less puppets it could call on and then suddenly with the incapacitation of its Inner Core nulled their help completely. The construct was forcibly pushed out of its body due to the sabotage of some kind of sadist. Without its minions, it wanted to flee but alas it could not. The Kujira's back was burning with a black fire that left it paralyzed and stuck. Its wings, its teleportation, its ability to fly like a supersonic heli-carrier were all shuttered. The Dialframe had been broken beyond repair and now it was a sitting duck. The Indaina Kujira's internal organs were also assaulted, each one shutting off another avenue of offense and defense. Its ability to conjure Demonic chakra. Gone. Its ability to summon Natural Energy. Gone. Its ability to conjure the Elements. Gone. At first, the beast did not panic. Why would it? Panic was a human emotion. A pathetic and cerebral response to stimuli outside of its control. The feeling paralyzed and weakened those who experienced it. The legacy Bijuu, inferior and outdated as they were, suffered from such ailments. Fortunately, the Catalyst's creators had spared it those useless emotions. It began to think of a logical solution to its current predicament when an unfamiliar sensation overtook its mind.

It began making mistakes. Small ones at first. They were subtle and not the sort of things a person would think twice of in the heat of battle. But then, it began making more of them. The errors were of an irrational character and they were always preceded by this sensation. When it saw Konoha-Nin, it sent swarms of puppets to their location regardless of the circumstances. It saw blue, it wasted chakra firing electricity even when it made no sense to do so. Each mistake predictably caused setbacks and defeats on numerous fronts. No longer in control of its own emotions, the beast roared in frustration and anger. It felt heat! The monster was burning up not just emotionally, but physically. Its cooling turbines were shot and its temperature regulator was undergoing severe electrical interference. The beast was sweating and struggling to breath. It tried to tap into its massive chakra reservoirs only to find them nearly empty.

That was when the panic came.

Someone (no something, as no human could possibly have enough chakra to overload its batteries) had fried its perpetual source of energy. It was now running on fumes and incurring even more internal damage. Its sense of direction and balance was scrambled due to a piercing loud sound. A sound that was not only driving it insane but actively destroying sensitive parts of its vestibular system. When it tried to regenerate the damaged parts, it only felt a tension throughout its body. Dozens of bees had infiltrated its tissue and clogged its piping system with some kind of foreign substance. Whether it was a coagulant or worse, the beast could not say, but the reality was that it could no longer send coolant, adhesive, regenerative fluid, healing chakra or life-saving anti-bodies to the places that needed it. It was dying and it had no way to stop it.

Its spirit was finally broken when its crowing jewel had failed to assimilate. The Gravity Matrix was the one thing it needed to survive and get away from this place. With the power of Okane's mighty anti-gravity technology, it could supercharge its systems and potentially escape. That was now impossible. A viscous substance had damaged the tendrils it was using for the assimilation process and now the matrix was no longer able to be fully integrated. The Indaina Kujira's advanced mind crunched the numbers and realized that it was now doomed. It had no capacity to survive what was coming next. The Catalyst screamed a dirge that could be heard across the city. The scream shattered every window on the Emporium and was a signal to the world that they had won. The Beast was barely able to keep itself afloat but no sooner had it stabilized its flight did its final challenger come into vision.

This blow would be the last.

Note: Diana is watching, but not participating in the mission.

"You agreed to no more missions Diana."

The woman in question, one Diana Elena Moneta Korikane-Kotōshura was currently on her C2 Dragon once more, flying down from the sky to pick up some of the strange fluid that the beast had spat out. In a quick motion with the use of one of her scrolls & seals she took a rather large sample that had gathered in a decent-sized 'basin' that was originally the upper half of a building, now upside-down, and the moved back into the air to get a proper view of the proceedings. "And I am not participating in this mission, even if I had mastered the art of Bijuu-sized Kinjutsu creations Titan. No, I am merely viewing an event of which the shinobi world will either remember as a time we were united as one, or a footnote that is forgotten due to petty political squabbles."

A scream erupted from the beast, and Diana took a few seconds bracing her exposed ear. She had known it could make a noise that loud from her mental battle with it, but havng the knowledge it could and hearing it in person were two different things as the wonderful ringing in her ears told her. "That has to be the worst excuse you have ever given me, but it ain't like I can stop you. Just get back safe, okay?" Thankfully, Korikane crystal was not quite the same as your average glass, and while she was sure she'd need to do a diagnostics on her linkpearl when this was over as she heard some white noise when Titania spoke, it was within an acceptable range.

The dragon, now several kilometers away from the Indaina Kujira, leveled its flight out as Diana shifted to get a good look at the upcoming blow. Even if she wasn't close enough to make out the sounds of what was being said, her eagle eye'd sight, paired with her temporary synchronization with nature, would let her see what goes down. "Do not worry Titania, I do not plan on entering the danger zone. And besides, you can only make so much progress on deciphering the data we acquired without me."

Settling in, she'd sit and wait, ready to give a play by play what she saw to her forgemaster.

Post by Suguru Mon Dec 27, 2021 1:49 pm

Suguru uncorked another bottle of sake, the white porcelain bottle adorned simply with the symbol of fire, signifying that it was a bottle of very expensive Konoha Fire Sake.

In a stroke of good luck, Suguru had managed to sit on a stack of unopened boxes containing dozens of such bottles; probably a remnant of the great party that had been held in the streets, where he had downed it too, along with a lot of good food, in the presence of his good friend, Drakon Pendragon.

The meeting with the Raikage had really fucked with his mind. For the first time in his life, he felt a connection to another village and not only that, but it was a village that had dared fight the great Konohagakure.

"Hey, at least it's not Iwagakure. Or even worse, Hoshigakure." He mumbled to himself with a shiver of disgust. Not that it was possible he would ever treat them with any esteem at all.

He wasn't going to trade his headband for another one, yet at the same time, while he felt it was his duty to spy and subvert the activities of the enemy, the Raikage didn't feel like an enemy.

She felt like a big strong woman who he wanted to-

No. No. She was the Raikage. He was a loyal shinobi to Konohagakure. No matter how what lay hidden behind that cold chest plate, no matter how bouncy-

Whatever thoughts Suguru had in regards to the Raikage, they were cut short.

A cold tendril of untethered consciousness wrapped around his thoughts, emanating from a cold shiver in his spine.

His mind, receptive to the chakra around him, a hangover from his failed attempt at sensory, could feel a change in the titanic chakra that was being molded in the air.

Something was happening and with it, a humming, just at the edge of his hearing started to slowly build up, as goosebumps lined up his flesh.

The pile of empty bottles started to rattle and shake in place.

Corks started to spin in circles on their own center of gravity.

His eyes shook in their own sockets and then, the scream hit.

Wind was blowing like crazy as the beast from hell floated in the sky looking down onto the world. Zenaku walked up and saw the guy called suguru sitting on a box of fire sake. Looked like the same stuff that was served at Okane birthday party that he had attended in the floating city. That was when it hit him, a noise so load the Uchiha had to cup his ears, the sound made him think that his ear drums was gonna burst from the low pitched whine of the creature yell.

" Talk about a yell, the last time I heard a yell that bad it came from my mother." Zenaku said to the boy sitting and drinking alcohol. Zenaku could already tell that if they wanted that thing to be taken down they needed a bijuu sized attack. Unfortunately he was not that in control of his tailed beast for something of that size of attack but he luckily had a susonoo which was completely perfect and rivaled that of any tailed beast.

Zenaku knew that it would take more then just him to take down the massive beast so he went over and sat beside the boy as he looked up towards the towering behemoth and awaited for the rest of the people who would come and help take down the massive monster.

Spotting the beast even from afar, Kanara was standing on a rooftop, eager to see what was going to happen next. While she didnt really care about this floating rock of a city, she certainly cared about the fact that she was on the city. So if it fell, it wouldnt be a soft landing in any way.

As she looked over the city beneath her she got hit by an infernal scream coming from the beast as it seemingly had enough of this place. Kanara couldnt blame it though. After all she had recently damaged it together with a few clan members of the uchiha. Revenge was soemthing her people knew of very well, so it seemed almost natrual that the beast was likely angry at them. But did it even feel anything?

Being lost in thought abou thte morals of this beast and if it was sentient and whatnot, she spotted a group of people from afar. However she wasnt going to join them for now. After all while strength in numbers was a thing, so was the fact that larger groups of people would more easily become a valuable target. And if the monster in the skies were to strike them, Kanara was almost certain that it wouldnt end good for her.

    "No one is showing up."

It was odd. It was the perfect opportunity for someone to step in and play hero, yet no one was coming to bat. Surely there was someone with a summon large enough, or a jinchuurikii who would take on their beastial form to take the target out. Yet instead, no one came. And just as the though occured in her mind, Titan, better known to the public as Titania Leveilleur, spoke up through the linkpearl.

"Diana no, the seal still needs more testing. You are not strong enough." Diana disn't respond, redirecting her dragon to fly towards the beast that had seen her as an insect. She knew what she had to do, even if she didn't like it. Titania spoke again, this time harsh enough Diana could feel the static in her ear. "DIANA. NO. As your second in command I am asking you, no, commanding you not to do this. You promised me you wouldn't." She could tell her friend was holding back tears.

She spoke up in her usual, monotone voice, but Titan would be able to pick up the small subtle fear in her friend's voice. "We have no choice. I was going to stay back, but it is clear that just as I was there to help find out how it would start, it is fitting I will be the one to end this." The seal on her back began to glow, still unstable from it's recent placement on her back. It was in a state of what she could best describe as 'quantum flux', not quite there, but still occupying a space. hopefully by the time she used it it would be stable enough that it wouldn't kill her.

A yell from the pearl broke Diana out of her thought train. "Go ahead then! Go and play hero! But if you die I'm coming to pull you right out so I can slap you!" And Diana knew she would try to do just that. And yet, despite the seriousness of it all, upon that dragon of clay & chakra, Diana decided to reply with a joke from a book they read.
"I know, and I will make it back. After all, nothing is stronger than family."

Post by Diana Mon Jan 03, 2022 4:22 pm

As Diana got closer and closer, her mask protecting her from the wind that blew by her as she steeled her resolve. The seal on Diana's back began to light up, appearing on the clothes she wore from the light it produced. She could feel the Third Eye of the Nue open up on top of her forehead, likely curious as to the strange sensation it was feeling. She'd then exhale as she mentally released the Harm & Death Tenketsu, her pupils turning pale white. The air around her violently billowed around her, the dragon below her shaking from the pressure she was releasing from her body, and to an onlooker she would look like a shooting star, her chakra a blazing sky blue with a purple hue. And then she begun her summoning chant.

    "ПРОШЛОЕ ЗДЕСЬ! {THE PAST IS HERE!}
    НАСТОЯЩЕЕ ЗДЕСЬ! {THE PRESENT IS HERE!}
    БУДУЩЕЕ ЗДЕСЬ! {THE FUTURE IS HERE!}
    ПО МОЕЙ КОМАНДЕ Я ВЫЗЫВАЮ ТЕБЯ! {FROM DISTANT LANDS I CALL YOU!}
    NUE!"

She'd bite down on her thumb and press it into her dragon, but instead of smoke forming with the Nue appearing, something else happened. Right below the dragon, a portal began to form. It started small, but the closer and closer she got to the Indaina Kujira, the more it grew and the more fear she could somehow sense from it. Perhaps it was actually radiating fear, or perhaps it was from the time she spent inside of it's mind she had truly gotten into it's mind. When this attack had started, she had been seen as an insect to a God, but now?

She was about to bring the wrath of the Shinobi World upon it's head.

The portal fully formed, and from it a beast burst out from it, taking out several buildings that had remained standing as it did so. To an onlooker, it was a strange sort of chimera; a tanuki body, lion's legs, a white snake tail and a monkey head in a white mane. And yet, to anyone who had witnesses a Bijuu before, it shared the same size, same stature, same power that they radiated. Once it was properly though though and the dust settled, it gave an inhuman roar to match the one the artificial Bijuu gave off, this time not of fear, but of dominance.

Diana, up in the sky watched as she had brought forth the beast, and felt their minds connected, albeit weakly. It knew why she had summoned it, and it was not happy with her. Were it not for the seal keeping the summoning contract in check, she was sure it would try to attack her at the very first opportunity. Still, there was more she could do, and she would damn well take advantage of it. While the beast was still coming out of the portal, she'd preform five handseals, clap, and then form an additional nine different handseals. The ground around the Indaina Kujira glowed brightly, and several sets of crystals appeared. The first set were Five Large Crystals that radiated energy, ones that increased the power of the next crystal. And what a crystal it was, for when it shot up, it would move to encase the Biomystical Beast almost completely, the only thing Diana leaving open was it's head.

With all the preparation set up, Diana pointe at the offending target, and Nue moved, slamming it's paw forwards and upwards to not just bring down the Indaina Kujira, but to behead it from the sheer force of it's strike.

Post by Jōki Mon Jan 03, 2022 5:23 pm

The world was spinning. The combination of blows and the failed assimilation of the Gravity Matrix had rattled the Indaina Kujira's senses. It could see its challenger approach but its size was so small that for a moment it felt hope. If it could just find the strength, it could potentially get away from this place. The irrationality that had infected its mind had begun to manifest delusions of improbable scale.

Joki and its creators would return and help it fight off the gnats.

It would unlock some kind of secret power that would help vanquish its foes.

The multitude of enemies before it would drop dead from the plague.

These were all illusions. Feeble attempts to cope with its own inevitable destruction. Nevertheless, the Indaina Kujira clung to this hope. When it saw how small Diana's dragon was in comparison to itself, it mustered up the strength to fly a few meters upwards. It was going to do this. It was going to escape. The Indaina Kujira eyed the woman defiantly but before it could act, it spied a small portal opening up beneath her. From that portal came an arm, then a head and then a body. It was a chimera of eldritsch proportions. The creature was of comparable size, and judging from its hulking frame, strength as well. Had it been at full power, the Indaina Kujira would have been able to defeat the challenger, but as it was, it could do nothing but watch impotently. It had no information about this being and the chakra radiating from itself and the insect made it obvious that this foe was under her control. It winced at Nue's loud roar and tried to back away when suddenly several crystal pillars burst from the ground underneath it. Before it could react, its entire body was entombed in a framework of crystal. It was not given the mercy of sleep as its head was still exposed to the open world. The last thing the Indaina Kujira saw was Nue trampling towards it with murderous intent. It was in the final moments before its paw connected that Indaina Kujira finally gave up hope.

The sheer force of the impact demolished several buildings. The connected strike tore the Enemy's head clean off sending it into the air and back down like a meteor. The severed head of the artificial Bijuu struck the side of the Heavenly Emporium and then landed into the water. Its body began to hum and ooze with the same black fluid it had ejected earlier. The crystal surrounding it began to melt and the headless body tumbled to the ground. From the beast's center, a mixture of ink and red energy began to leak out. The abdominal cavity was melting and being torn apart from the inside. A beastly roar could be heard from within the shell. A defiant response to Nue's own primal exclamation. A purple fist burst through the body of the Indaina Kujira. It was covered in a slick afterbirth of unknown tissue and what followed was a Bijuu that had not walked the Earth since the time of the Sage. The Hachibi tore its way through its captivity and leapt from its holding cell. Gyuuki was a fraction of its normal size due to the fact that the Indaina Kujira had been leeching power from it for the duration of the fight. It was roughly a third of Nue's size but what it lacked in size, it more than made up for in speed. The Bijuu landed hard on the Emporium and it began to bolt towards the edge. It dove off the city's ledge and into the sea below. The Bijuu then swam away from the city ruins. For a time, Gyuuki had been enjoying the bliss of its artificially constructed reality. It was now confused and in a panic. Survival was its chief priority and thus it had opted to escape the Emporium rather than challenge the Kujira killer. As the Indaina Kujira's mangled corpse descended, large parts of it began to break up. Organs, tissue, metal, fluids were all strewn across the Emporium as the Faux-Bijuu's corpse was brought low. A third of its form landed on the Heavenly Emporium itself while the remainder landed on the edge and slipped into the depths of the Kaizoku Sea. The water was now polluted with a mixture of blood and bile.

The Catalyst for the Shinobi World's destruction was no more.

Post by Suguru Mon Jan 03, 2022 6:30 pm

As the world seemed to break around Suguru, a man strolled up next to him, cool as a cucumber and started cracking jokes like nothing bad at all was happening.

The genin was so caught up in the whole "the world is breaking" screech that he was surprised by the arrival of the fellow shinobi and thought he was being attacked for a moment, yet at the sight of his headband, which bore the seal of the greatest village ever, Suguru calmed down.

This mysterious man was right in his conduct. Konohagakure Shinobi needed to act calm and cool. Like Drakon. And the Hokage.

"She is a bijuu too?" Suguru half-slurred. "And most importantly, is she single?"

The genin tried winking, but all he did was blink with both eyes.

Taking a page from Drakon's cool moves handbook, Suguru knew he needed to one up this man's coolness by doing something even cooler.

    How about killing the Bijuu?

    The bijuu was blue.

    Of course. Blue like Water.

    Big Water.

    And what was water's weakness?

    Fire.

    Suguru smiled.

The hokage placed the Konoha Fire Sake here to give him a hint.

Praise be upon his name indeed.

Turning away from the other shinobi for a moment, Suguru started forming handsleals, some relevant, some wrong and some non-existent with a puffed up chest till a bale of flames erupted from his lips.

"Shit, that was supposed to be Dragon-shaped." Suguru lamented to himself, as instead a ball of fire had taken shape in the sky.

Turning back to his fellow shinobi, as cool guys never look at their own fireballs, Suguru put a hand around the taller man's shoulders.

"So we were talking about your mom right? Does she have-"

The conversation was cut short by the sound of the impact.

Post by Shimiko Chinoike Tue Jan 04, 2022 12:47 pm

Shimiko was sitting on a rooftop surrounded by the corpses of Xenobeasts. She had been looking up at the dying Indaina Kujira and wondering whether she should be the one to put it down. With the creepy critters running away, it looked like the only thing left was the giant monster in the sky. It had been battered by targeted attacks from some of the world's finest shinobi. Shimiko had done her part but it was only a fraction of what was necessary to defeat such a foe. This world is stronger together... she thought to herself. The entire Shinobi World War seemed so foolish now. As much as she enjoyed the thrill of combat and as much as she loved to paint the world red with the blood of the heathen, she knew that the planet's strength was better reserved for moments like these. Moments where evil threatened everything and everyone.

"And here I used to think Nozomi, Akihiro and I were the only thing keeping this continent together" she said to the dead alien. The Honey Badger stroked its exoskeleton lovingly as she remembered all of the "fun" times she had as a kunoichi. The beasts piled up around her had been stuck, slashed and fried to death. Several Society allied humans had also joined them in death and a few had fang marks in their neck. The acidic blood that ran through the creatures' veins was of no concern. She was protected by the Armour of Faith and the only way you'd know she had been in a fight was that she was covered in blood. A small rest was in order now that the worst was over but she still hadn't deactivated her Hachidora Ketsurygan. It was a good thing too because the Bijuu wasn't much of a quitter. Even as the beast faltered, it seemed to gain altitude. She realized that it was trying to escape and if it did, it would lick its wounds and recover. She couldn't let that happen. Shimiko stirred as she began to draw blood from out of her suit and around the rooftop. However before she could fully stand, someone else had appeared on the scene. A woman riding a clay dragon.

    Yui Kotoshura?!

No. This was someone else. A woman with brown hair but the same bloodline. A portal was opened and from it came an absolute behemoth. Shimiko had never seen such a Bijuu before, but her surprise was unsurprising. There were all sorts of entities, demons and angels percolating throughout their world. From Jareth to Raefala, this was a world rife with new powers just as fearsome as the old. The woman enraptured the Indaina Kujira in crystal and let her pet do the rest. Shimiko stared in disbelief as the Kong tore off the Faux-Bijuu's head and sent its body falling to the sea. The combination was nothing Shimiko had ever seen before and it made her glad that this hero was on her side. With the enemy finally vanquished, Shimiko's work was done. Or was it? There would always be another battle. Another fight. Another threat. She had run out of her hospital bed to join this war after just barely surviving an encounter with an alien Ten Tails. Shimiko's bloodlust was partially to blame but so was her fear. She hadn't just been running to the fray ever since Little Nariko had been born, she had been running from something. Running from motherhood? No. Running from the possibility of failure. The scent of death and steel was familiar. It was wholesome. It was easy. Shimiko had been doing this for ten years and she could easily go another ten. She told herself that this was because there was no one else in the world strong enough to protect it, but that was plainly untrue. There had been legends before her time and there'd be legends well after it. This wasn't about protecting Kishin, this was about preserving her own ego and clinging to the past.

No more...Nine years is enough. Its time to hang it up.

Diana's stunning display of power was the nail in the coffin. If Diana was just one of the many shinobi that had helped put down the Indaina Kujira, then the world was in good hands. Shimiko sighed and stood. She had said her goodbyes and had drafted her will. It was time to take the final plunge. The ground beneath her rocked as the Heavenly Emporium crashed into the sea and floated. She wiped some of the blood off her face, double-checked her gear and began the long journey from the Ruins of the Heavenly Emporium to the Village of Kumogakure.

Final Blow Empty Re: Final Blow

As zenaku stood there and watched as a person came flying in on a large clay dragon, this person must have been from the blast release clan from iwa that once belonged to the hidden leaf village. But as he was watching her the drunk man walked over to him as he suddenly put his arm around the Uchiha shoulders and started asking about his mom but he was suddenly cut off as the woman riding the clay dragon would summon a beast so large that it rivaled the size of a tailed beast or even his susonoo.

The beast would suddenly slice off the monster kaijuu head in one masive strike. Zenaku could feel the large floating city that they stood on to be giving away so it was time that he took his leave as it would seem that he was no longer needed here. Zenaku would lift the boys arm off his shoulder as he have a mean glare at the drunk boy.

" Let's head back to the village kid it seems we are not needed here. Man what a drag such a waste of my time."

Zenaku said as he started walking away and headed away from the large floating city that was about to come down from the sky.

Final Blow Empty Re: Final Blow

Post by Suguru Tue Jan 04, 2022 7:09 pm

Suguru looked back, and the beast was no longer alive.

    He did it.

Suguru had killed the Bijuu with just one jutsu.

    He had beaten Big Water.

    The Konohagakure fire won.

"HOLY SHIT! I DID IT! I KILLED IT!" Suguru raised his hands in victory and high-fived himself. "KONOHGAKURE WINS AGAIN! AND BIG WATER ENDS UP DRY! TRY HIKING UP THE WATER BILL NOW, FUCKERS!"

The Hokage was going to be so proud of him.

Maybe he will call him 'son' again?

Or finally, give him a cool medal? Maybe TWO cool medals?

"Of course, you are not needed. The Hokage sent the best of the best, Suguru, the bane of Big Water." Suguru responded with a chest so puffed one might expect it to blow up at any moment.

"I mean mate, you have seen THE Suguru in action. That is a once of a lifetime experience unless you are a lass, that is." He winked, but he was not looking at Zenaku so the man probably didn't even notice.

"Hell, I'd give you an autograph too if you want. But, we will have to talk about your mom more if that's the case..."

And so, Suguru, filled with pride and eight bottles of Konohagakure Fire Sake, headed back to his beloved village, a hero once more, at least, in his mind.

Not that would stay there for long.

Quiet shinobi rarely got medals after all.

Seeign as a strange person appeared to fly through the skies towards the monster that brought its wrath onto the city, Kanaara couldnt help but to wonder what she wanted. After all, getting closer to this... thing seemed life a death sentence for anyone except maybe the most skilled shinobi. Approaching by air seemed like aworse idea even as surely the beast wouldnt have trouble spotting something the this easily.

However as the women seemed to not be hit by beast. Instead suddenly a giant beast appeared, easily rivaling the other one in size. As Kanara stared at both of them from afar, the sound of houses breaking into hundrets of pieces, yielding to the sheer size and weight of the newly appeared monster, she could see it suddenly strike at it. As it hit, it decapitated the crippled, yet still powerful Indra Kaguya with a single hit, tearing its head clean off. Whatever the Nue semeed to be, it certainly was dangerous.

Deciding that she wouldnt like to stay close by, Kanara made her way back to the relative safety of the hideout she created. After all she saw enough to tell her to not mess with the new appeared entity. Lest alone she was far outmatched even before, so it didnt make sense for her stick around and endanger herself for nothing.

Final Blow Empty Re: Final Blow

Post by Diana Wed Jan 05, 2022 12:52 pm

Diana watched as Nue delivered the final blow against the Indaina Kujira, the impact having sent the head flying as well as the sheer force felt in her bones. She'd watch as it fell apart, the sight of what she could only assume to be the Eight-Tails escaping from it given the stories she had read. She should have felt elation, joy, relief; something positive.

Yet all she could feel was sorrow at the loss of such a magnificent creation. She watched from above as many shinobi began to cheer, the end of a bloody war being brought to it's knees. They were all happy, glad to know that they could live another day with those who had survived. But it was also a tragedy, as she could see those few, hidden away from the majority who were mourning over their fallen comrades and loved ones, likely cursing her for not coming fast enough. There were those who would likely reject technological progress because of the beast, something that she tried to promote with Iwatomics Incorperated. And then, there was how others would perceive her now as a savior of shinobi-kind, a title she did not want to have, yet she was sure she would be given because she delivered the final blow.

She needed to get her mind off of this train of thought, and as such activated her pearl device. "Titan, this is Ruby. The Indaina Kujira has been eliminated, and as such Iwatomics Incorperated is no longer on high alert." She'd pause, thinking on how to proceed with her company. "Have the workers take the rest of the day off with pay, they have all earned it from their dedication. As for you, meet me at launch zone five, I will need assistance getting home once I return." Another pause. "Please." She'd wait for a few seconds before she got a curt reply. "Wilco."

With that settled, she dismissed Nue before it got any ideas, though she felt the third eye of the beast form onto her forehead to look at it's victory over the machine. It was well and truly dead, and were she not on a time limit she would have gladly stayed to inspect over the corpse, but she didn't have the time. She had gathered the black liquid from the beast earlier, and the seal had held, so there was not much more she could do. She just...stared at the loss of such a magnificent creature. Yes, she had a copy of it's mind, but it wouldn't be the same.

    A final farewell then.

Stepping off of her dragon and onto the edge of the heavenly emporium, she would place her hand onto the remains of the artificial bijuu while looking at the polluted ocean where the remaining body fell into. "Thank you for your sacrifice, for in your death we may live. May you rest soundly in the Pure Land as the Sage himself gently guides you there, for even you should know peace in the next life. May we meet again there when my time has come, and that you can forgive me for defending what I believed in." She would spend a good minute, letting the farewell sink in before saying one final goodbye and getting back onto her dragon, her tenketsu closing on their own and the dragon carrying her exhausted body home.

    "Farewell, Kujira Indaina of Kishin."
