An Uchiha's Training Is Never Done

Neo arches her back as she readies herself for training, gripping her parasol at the hooked handle with one hand and the tip with the other to be able to stretch out her back, arms, and shoulders fully using her parasol. She goes until her muscles can relax and her joints make a nice, relaxing pop noise, though the sound causes Ancha to make a face at her. Neo simply shrugs; she needed to stretch, and sometimes while stretching, joints will pop, she's sure Ancha understands that. Ancha simply returns to checking the sturdiness of the training dummy in the facility, ensuring that it won't be completely torn to shreds by the technique Neo is training. She was lucky to be given permission to learn the Rasengan, a technique that was exclusive to Konoha, and so she endeavored to make it work and quickly.

To be honest, she'd only had to study the scroll once to get the hang of it, but it was an extremely complex jutsu that required very precise chakra control, and she wasn't sure she could do it on her own, or even with Ancha. Just to ensure that she'd be capable of keeping control of it, she starts off by making a single Shadow Clone of herself, then brings her right hand up towards it. As she fills her hand with chakra and starts it spinning, her own Shadow Clone helps to contain that chakra and form it fully into a perfect sphere of rotating, wildly spinning chakra.

Ancha quickly moves out of the way before Neo rushes forwards and slams the ball of spinning chakra into the dummy, pushing and pushing against it and letting the rotating force nearly drill into the incredibly resilient stuffing before she releases the Rasengan, feeling secure in the training of it.

Now that the Rasengan has been successfully worked, she rolls her shoulders, then dismisses her own Shadow Clone, feeling a bit of a rush as the chakra she'd split off from herself in order to make the Shadow Clone rushes back into her body. Then she turns her head and nods once at Ancha as she performs a series of handseals, immediately moving on to training the next technique she'd been considering training; the Transparent Escape Technique. After performing the final handseal, she focuses on making herself become invisible and having the light particles smoothly shift around her body instead, and while Ancha watches, it seems as though a ripple of glass shards shifts over her entire body, travelling from the top of her head and rapidly down her body, and where the ripple passes, it becomes as though she was no longer there. Finally, the ripple passes over her very feet, leaving what appears to be nothing in its place. Of course, in order to keep this invisibility, Neo moves extremely slowly, as though she's stalking her own subordinate.

Ancha, meanwhile, has lifted one hand in a thumbs-up to let Neo know that she'd become completely invisible, not even realizing at first that Neo was moving until Neo herself moves more suddenly, wrapping her umbrella across the front of Ancha's body and twisting her to the ground in one sudden movement. Ancha manages to roll back up to a standing position with some difficulty to see Neo now laughing almost completely silently, with the only actual sound being her breaths. Ancha frowns, but doesn't reprimand her partner as Neo eventually settles down.

There's at least one more technique she'd been looking to try and learn, so she might as well learn it now; Neo shoos Ancha away from the dummy once more, as the throw had caused her to land somewhat near the poor thing. Luckily, this technique she's training only requires one handseal, so she makes it now and molds the wind-natured chakra in her stomach, knowing that she has far more room in that organ than just in her lungs, though she fills those with Fuuton chakra as well. With that chakra built up, she finally launches several bullets of Fuuton chakra at the dummy, striking it in this area and that as the training dummy sways about from the concussive force of so many bullets striking against its surface. Neo finally gives out one last quick three-shot burst of Fuuton chakra straight at the training dummy's head target, causing the effigy, already weakened by the previous Rasengan training, to sway back three times in quick succession before flopping backwards off of its metallic perch, leaving a metal pole standing while Neo works to catch her breath back, panting for a few moments before she regains her composure.

Ancha quickly picks the training dummy back up and starts setting it back up on its stand, but Neo waves her off of it; she's done training for the day. She picks her parasol back up from the crook of her elbow and opens it as she walks off towards the exit of the training grounds, with her associate following after her.

Neo returns to the training facility, now deciding that she needs more jutsu to be able to defend herself against any opponents she might face. Of course, Ancha is there with her, but now she's even more helpful for Neo as a training partner rather than simply an assistant; after all, it is nearly impossible to train genjutsu without another person there to assist with the training and to act as a stand-in for an attacking enemy. She even gives Ancha a kunai for this training time, before she moves 30 meters away. After all, getting too close wasn't likely to happen, at least for Neo, if she was doing her job correctly. She turns to look at Ancha and raises her hand palm-up until it's shoulder-height, her fingers relaxed but slightly splayed. She focuses chakra all over her entire body, then brings her first two fingers up, gesturing for Ancha to come at her. But as soon as Ancha looks at Neo while she has this chakra covering her body, although Ancha isn't aware of it yet, she's already under the genjutsu, it just hasn't activated yet. However, Neo knows that it's far too dangerous to simply wait for the genjutsu to activate, especially with Ancha already approaching her with the kunai drawn.

Neo rapidly brings her parasol up, using her coordination to knock the kunai aside with little effort, followed by a deft dodge of the follow-up punch from Ancha's left hand. Still, just to ensure that the genjutsu has taken effect, she flows chakra over the entirety of her body, now that she's sure Ancha is looking directly at her and will be caught in the genjutsu in a short while. She still has other techniques to train in the meantime, so this techniques makes sense for a starting point. The next few should be much simpler to train, as she needs to use other techniques in any case to keep Ancha at bay, giving the genjutsu time to work. Ancha seems to pause, however, not wanting to harm her own superior, and Neo rolls her eyes and instigates Ancha to advance once more.

OOC: 350/350 Helpless Maiden Illusion

Ancha advances again, but before she can actually reach Neo, the Jounin is flowing wind-nature chakra along the palm of her left hand, holding it across her body so that her palm is facing far to her right. Ancha isn't all that clever, but she knows when there's enough nature chakra that the chakra itself is actually visible before the technique is released, she should know that there's a lot of chakra being gathered in a single place. With a rapid slashing motion, Neo simultaneously releases that wind nature chakra, allowing it to flow from her hand in a long, horizontal slash that travels quickly forwards as she ends with her left palm pointed to her left side now, leaving her body somewhat open, but the slash is already traveling quickly forwards.

Ancha, having learned mostly by training with Neo after she'd been saved and adopted by the Jounin during the war when she'd been left to die as a medic nin by her previous squad, knew what her leader was thinking on an almost instinctual level; luckily, she'd started ducking underneath before the technique had even been released and was now approaching Neo rapidly. The Uchiha once again had to deflect first a punch, then the follow-up kunai slash that almost nicked her glove, but was instead brushed away with a flick of the umbrella handle.

WC: Beast Tearing Palm 200/200

With Ancha coming after her one last time, Neo needs to perform one last jutsu to keep her occupied before the genjutsu takes hold, so she trains up one more jutsu, another one that requires few handseals, but one that is somewhat similar to another jutsu she has already trained. She breathes in deep into her stomach to gather up wind nature chakra, then expels it into her open left hand after she brings the hand up to her face, drawing it together into a round ball and rotating it rapidly in her hand. Her right hand utilizes the parasol to block and deflect the rest of Ancha's kunai attacks, occasionally catching the kunai and sometimes simply evading an incoming swipe completely. She finally catches Ancha's wrist with the hook of her parasol's handle and simply stabs the tip of the parasol into the ground, locking her wrist down and knocking the kunai from it with the rough and sudden movement while Neo herself drops to one knee.

Finally, Neo sees that Ancha's eyes have actually glossed over, and she knows that her genjutsu has taken effect and caused Ancha to see her own superior as a maiden in need of saving. Neo rolls her eyes, then uses her technique to shoot off the spiraling ball of wind from her hand directly into Ancha's midsection, the pain of the technique momentarily knocking the wind out of her and instantly releasing her from the genjutsu.

She winces as Ancha gasps for a moment after coming out of the illusion, glaring at Neo as she signs an apology, even promising to get her something to eat later, her treat. Neo waits for Ancha to recover before leading her out of the training facility to go to a steak-and-lobster place that she knows is going to cost her a very good amount of ryo.
