Light in the Dark

Ren stood before the stone throne that sat in the middle of the main chamber of the underground base, staring at the artwork designed into it as he waited for the others to arrive. Wearing his Sweet Silk Cloak over his Battle Kisode, a small Jade pendant draped from around his neck, the cloak hiding the Salamander contract strapped to the back of his waist. On his head sat the Mask of the Ancients, a strange mask that appeared to Ren shortly after he and Tadara had defeated the spirit that caused the trouble in Menzagakure. Though he didn't use the mask now, it would come into use later when everything was put into place. The mask's strange properties allowed it to appear as any mask he wished for it to, considering what the mission was that small ability would be useful and possibly aid in the getaway. As always, his Gunbai would be within the Kamui Dimension just waiting for him to call it to use, there were other treasures but that was the one he would actually use. He had shared many of these treasures with his newly formed group, but there were still those that were not yet claimed by a master. He had to ensure that on this excursion that they kept their eyes out for other potential candidates, the Light would grow and so too would be the chances of them defeating the impending catastrophe that the princess warned them about. Another mystery that needed to be solved later was how what felt like no more than a week or two had turned into six months, it was Dai that first brought this to his attention. While what he would say was a week and a half to two weeks that he had spent within Menzagakure dealing with the castle, somehow the rest of the world had gone on for months. Even Dai admitted that he had grown concern that something had happened, but for Ren this was just another piece of the puzzle that needed to be solved. With the realization that so much time has passed since he had first left Konoha, Ren knew that he needed to complete his mission as soon as possible before his plans for Konoha were ruined. They all had time to rest so there should be no reason that they all are not at a hundred percent, and with the three of them he doubted any could stand in their way. Once Tadara and Raijin arrived they could begin, having already sent Dai and Sienna off on missions of their own, all Ren could do now was wait.

Finally Raijin had gotten supplies. He had also done some soul searching with the likes of none other than Kurama. He could still remember what the beast had said to him as he stood before him in his mindscape. We have known nothing but destruction since it was in our nature to destroy those who wish to use us. The only difference between them and you is that you have thrown away your humanity. We are the same. We are Demons. I will help you destroy the world like they wish to destroy us.

This was true because he was a Cursed One. Always seen as demons anyways. There was no home in a world like this for him. Perhaps he should destroy them. They now shared a bond like no other, and that came with immense power. He could feel the bijuu could be used to his discretion now. He was dressed in Snow Armor, applying the Lightning Blade Creation seals on his wrist. The Garian Blade would sealed on his right wrist along with 5 Shuriken and 5 Kunai. His Left wrist held Dragon Fang, 5 Shuriken and 5 Kunais. He arrived in the stone throne room. He and Ren were stronger than ever. There would not be many whom could stand against their combined might.

"Ready." He said to Ren as he walked closer. "That Empress Headband was pretty nice. Probably should have gotten that from you as well." Raijin added as they waited for Tadara.

Tadara had been busy. Disheveled even from his work. Awakening to find almost immediately a couple of things out of place. Different than when he had left them....yet however they had arrived in his room was able to get passed his senses. His bee's hadn't even attacked. Still he would rise from his bed and move to the offending items. A small summoning scroll he would glance over caught his eye first. He would read it over a moment as somehow it...already had his signature? It was a perfect signature as well. Yet he had no memory of it. Still it was quickly apparent to him that this small scroll could summon the castle from before. A useful ability to have a mobile base. Still he would note the mirror had been with it. The tags that had been present were now missing. So the castle could exchange the tickets for rewards even over a distance. This was likely to be useful. Though he would study it a few minutes...gathering its mechanics and abilities. The mask would hide his face, assist his breathing and hide his chakra even externally. That would prove massively useful. Still he would place it upon his face and fall off of any chakra sensory techs immediately for a few seconds.

He would remove the mask to get prepared to move out. The operation at hand had been tried for as long as the villages were founded. To destroy an enemy village infrastructure. However in this case the mastermind had literal years to prepare. He had intended to go about this alone before but his chances were heavily not in his favor. Now even as he slipped into the snow chakra armor and hid it under his normal red clothing he would look into the mirror. His eyes empty depths void of emotions like fear or guilt. He had adjusted his clothing to fit better even over the armor as well. A few extra stitches here and there was enough to hide it. The Ocarina he would place in his inner coat pocket. The thunder sword he would clip to his belt while the metal claws would remain sealed in a small scroll in his other inner breast pocket. The five god pills were put in pouches on the other side of his belt next to his categorized two golden cure doses and two doses of infinitum Memorum. Finally he would tuck eighty explosive tags into his outer coat pockets. 

 He would brush his red hair with one pass through of his hand before turning and collecting the mask once more. Slipping it over his face as a white hooded cloak would appear over him. His chakra disappearing again. For Ren it was likely an alarming thing. Raijin too if he had sensory abilities. For them they had likely become accustomed of sensing everyone around them coming and going. However Tadara would almost appear in the room with the two. His white gold mask only allowing honey colored eyes to shine through. Tadara would arrive in silence without a sound and no chakra to announce him. Still he would step forward and place two black boxes on the table. A new set of god pills for each of them. Three each. He would not be caught unprepared to fight at full strength. His glowing eyes glancing between them as he seemed to care nothing for his village. 

"Are we almost prepared? Iwa must fall to bring an end to this comfortable life everyone has simply accepted. It's destruction will herald and Era of those who sought strength so it might never happen to them again. The light will help the powerful thrive....and the weak will be allowed to perish. No more parasites among the harvest."




Giving 3 doses to both Raijin and Ren each of the god pill

As Raijin arrived, Ren smirked at the man's comment of the headband. He wasn't wrong, it was an interesting item, though to be honest he was surprised Raijin would be interested in such a thing. As Tadara arrived however, Ren was surprised though it wouldn't show on his face. Looking at the man through the Sharingan and seeing no chakra whatsoever was confusing, it was as if the man was a ghost. It was definitely something Ren knew he would have to be cautious about, if he couldn't sense the man's chakra then there was the possibility that others could hide in this manner and so he would need to stay aware. As Tadara spoke of putting their plan to action, Ren would nod. "Just about, there are a few more things that need taken care of." Ren would answer before several boxes of items would appear along with the different artifacts that Ren had acquired next to the table. With the boxes were 10 blank scrolls that could be used with Fuuin if either the men present wished to have such, next to Tsurukame sat ten more scrolls, however those scrolls already held 2000 titanium kunai between them to use with the turtle shield for the weapon system. Twenty titanium tantos, twenty radios, one hundred flash bang bombs, fifty auto injectors, and then ten pure white porcelain masks that Ren had made that can glow slightly giving off light. Of the artifacts that remained, aside from Tsurukame, there was only the Empress's Headband, and Kusanagi left. Though there was also the summoning contract for Emma, Ren had not taken the time to actually look at the contract, but had to assume it had been important considering Airi had locked it away with the rest of the treasures. "I grabbed a few items from the market, take anything that you might need, be sure to take a radio so that we can all stay in contact easier." Ren would add after summoning the items from the Kamui dimension, what wasn't taken he would have Ivros put into the vault here to supply their growing army. Though Ivros isn't the strongest among his subordinates, the man was more than capable of getting the other men to do the work. With Sienna and Dai out on their missions, it would fall to Ivros and the few men that Ren had swayed from the village to guard the base until their return.

Once Tadara and Raijin both had a radio and whatever else they wanted, Ren would create a portal using Kamui,  the other end of the portal would arrive right in front of the sensory center. Thanks to Tadara sharing his memories of Iwa, it was as if Ren had stood in front of the building himself, so such a portal was an easy accomplishment. Looking to Raijin, Ren would simply nod to the man. "That one's for you," he stated giving him the signal to begin his attack. Once Raijin was through the portal, Ren would turn to Tadara. "You will be with me, or at least part of me." Ren would state before using Fission and separating into two beings. The first Ren would still be wearing his Battle Kisode, however the second Ren would wear a set of the Snow Chakra Armor and the Mask of the Ancients. Pulling the mask down to cover his face, the mask would change to that of a Dragon head before he would turn invisible with the hiding with camouflage technique and grabbing Tadara's shoulder before they would both disappear into the Kamui dimension. They would arrive almost instantly near the administration building, where they could split off to do their own jobs. With the hiding with camouflage technique, the second Ren would be invisible not just to most perception but to chakra sensory the same as Tadara. Only few would be able to see the glimmer caused by the technique, but sensors would have no reason to investigate an area if they don't sense foreign chakra. The first Ren would be the last to leave, grabbing the three god pills from the table that Tadara had left him before he took would disappear into the Kamui dimension and arrive at the gates of the village shortly after the destruction started. He had planned to travel with Zenaku, to ensure his alibi, but considering so much more time had passed while he had been away then he thought, it was possible that the man had already left Konoha for Iwa. Either way, Ren would do what he could to keep up appearances and ensure that he and therefore Konoha was view in a good light.

Raijins blood was boiling. Not out of anger, but of excitement. It had been so long since he had had a fight. He knew there wasn't many save for the Tsuchikage that could put up a fight for him. But he didn't live for the thrill of the fight really. But really the thrill of the kill. Ending a life brought his offerings to Jashin. The more offerings the more power he got from the God. Tadara showed up soon enough bringing gifts as did Ren. Raijin almost didn't notice Tadara coming in but he completely had control over the Emotional Sensing ability. He was able to sense the negative emotions. And it was apparent that Tadara had more than enough of them for Iwagakure when explained his plan to take them down. Raijin was going to be the destroyer. He was good at that.

Ren had brought out an arsenal to use for battle ahead. He picked up the Empress Headband and put it on. He would also and seal Kusanagi in his right arm seal. It had returned to his person after so long. The Shield would only be useful his underling as she was fragile enough to be killed by a Kunai. But he took a stab literally at the Emma contract. He had signed with Dragons before so this would be the second contract. He picked up just 2 flashbangs, a radio headset, and the white Porcelain mask that glowed with a slight light. He also made sure to grab 3 God Pills Tadara had brought.

The Uchiha also tore open a portal with his EMS. It was going to lead him to the Sensory center where he would begin his assault. Raijin nodded to Ren as he walking through portal, and commented too Tadara. "You got it Tadara. Iwa will fall today. And the world will be on notice."

Exit to Iwagakure > Sensory center via Kamui

Tadara would observe each of them. His honey colored eyes calculating their total balances. According to his calculations their total point value was immensely superior to the whole of Iwagakure. He would wait until Raijin had collected what he wished before stepping forward. He would collect a radio headset and equip it around his neck and left ear. Adjusting it to the frequency he knew Iwagakure did not use and helping the other two adjust theirs too. He would switch back and forth to monitor any frequencies but for now and see if they could manage to coordinate without their leadership. He would separate his explosive tags into bundles of ten. Each of them attached to a titanium kunai. So he took eight titanium Kunai in total. Once that was done he would see Ren preparing to go incognito and keep him company. The vault they could hit last but for now they would start with the sensory station and the administration building. He would take a breath before he would create a single bee. Allowing it to flow over to Ren and crawl under his clothing. The bee would pull in his direction and allow Tadara to keep track of his position too.

"I am ready." 

He would state simply. He felt nothing towards all of this. For the emotional sensory it would be apparent that there was a lack of emotions regarding all this. He was merely looking to the facts. Point values associated to people instead of value for human life. He would not evacuate any of the buildings. Instead he would cause destruction and mayhem in mass for a purpose. Tadara felt only driven by purpose and a lack of empathy. He felt nothing for anyone. Self preservation was an instinct for all living creatures. He would walk through the portal to the administration building with his mask hiding his chakra and hiding in camouflage active. Truly invisible.
