In Commemoration of the Holidays, both Christmas and New Year's, we are awarding every character a free 2,000 Words that can be used to train jutsu!

Regarding the previous update:

1. Characters earn 10 Experience Points per post in a topic containing multiple players. Going through life with others affords a peak at a different viewpoint in life, enhancing everyone's personal growth and development.
2. An additional 5 Experience Points are earned per post when training with, on a mission with, or interacting with the character's designated teacher or sensei.


Irui has 5 posts (10+5/ea), totalling 75.

• IC, Irui's reset will be shortly explained by a thread tentatively titled "Trial by Thunder", where Irui upon returning to the Hidden Cloud is simultaneously at odds with the Mikiri Clan for violating it's isolationist tradition, and The Orthodox Church of Jashin, for failing his Sensei, Lady Supreme Mora Mikiri. She will strip him of Jashin's blessing, his ability to summon the Baku.

• Genjutsu Specialist: Genjutsu is one rank harder to notice, but costs .5% more to cast.
  
  
• Illusory Sniper: Can cast Genjutsu on those perceived by the Sensory Skill as if the user had LoS eye contact. But Irui takes 1 Tier more damage than normal. Can't be used on those using Chakra Suppression, or skills that render a user invisible to the Sensory Skill. 10 CP to activate.
  
  
• Embrace Yin: Irui is able to ignore any aesthetic clues built into canon Genjutsu, bending the technique to his own unique tastes and making it his own (e.g substituting fog for leaves). Irui must still follow the core function of the technique, including all costs, and drawbacks. Attach a +1 CP to Genjutsu if used.
  
  
• The Maw: Irui is reset, with 750xp invested into Dark Release: Inhaling Maw. This grants Irui access to the technique, as well as the Mikiri Clan's "Dark Release". Irui must pay off the 750xp. This amount does not contribute to his total Exp.
  
  
• Ravenous: Can be activated only once "Inhaling Maw" has successfully absorbed chakra. Irui can use "Ravenous" to create a near-perfect illusion using the opponent's chakra against them, infused with Dark Release. Genjutsu cast with Ravenous have power/psychological damage equal to the absorbed technique. Due to the nature of Dark Release, this is the only way Dark Release Genjutsu can be performed.
  
  Trial by Thunder: Irui can learn Ninjutsu-based techniques at one rank lower than his current class allows. Ninjutsu techniques will also cost -1 Rank lower to utilize. Sensing Techniques are +1 rank higher to learn and +.5 Rank higher to use. 
  
  Fast Hands: The player takes a reduction of -1 Tier Speed, for a +1 Tier buff to Coordination. 5 CP to activate
  
  Strong Willed: User gains a +1 Tier buff to Intelligence, but gains a -1 debuff to Perc. 5 CP to activate.
  
  Draining Touch: Irui's blood line that allows the absorption of chakra, is heightened to drain chakra from a single touch. This UA allows him to app techniques that can drain chakra, although those techniques leave him more open to receiving damage from chakra as well.
  
  Without using techniques, he can choose to drain 5 chakra from someone by making physical contact with a them using his forearms or hands, although he has to consciously do so. This is able to be used through gloves and clothes, but does not extend to other tools or weapons.
  
  Every time contact is made, he can draw out chakra from a person (capped at 15 per person per post) or 15 chakra per person if he sustains contact the entire post. However, doing so opens Iriu up to increased damage (+1 rank of damage) from tangible chakra techniques for the rest of the post round. This is all elemental jutsu, and all attacks with tangible chakra, such as Chakra Flow and other such techniques. The amount that this UA allows for non technique absorption in a thread is capped at half Irui's base stamina cap, even if taken from multiple different people. This can not set him over his maximum pool of chakra

Description: One of the drug smuggling kingpins has been sighted in a small town near the northwestern coast of the Land of Lightning. He is there to supervise a large shipment of illegal contraband coming into the Land of Lightning, according to our sources. He is considered an excellent martial artist and is not afraid to get into a fight. He also has a personal retinue of bodyguards that accompany him everywhere he goes. Track him, figure out the best time to strike, and take him out. Don't worry about getting rid of the contraband, simply eliminate the leader for now.
