The Lunch Thief (Solo Mission)

Mission:

It was a wonderful afternoon as the air was set just right on the temperature. The way it felt of wind combing through Tsuki's black hair that is braided and hanging over her left shoulder. Her steps light on the man-carved stone staircase that reaches up into the residential area. Then as if the sounds awakened her senses from her mind Tsuki heard someone, or rather multiple sobbings. At the top of the staircase Tsuki sees a local playground where local children play at. It even has a lone oak tree with branches thick as a man's bicep yet sways with the wind.

Huddling around the tree is a small group of children, and some of them appear to be crying while others were complaining how hungry they were. Her heart felt like it was stabbed as Tsuki took pity on them. Approaching them Tsuki asked what was causing them such distress. Apparently they had set their lunches against this tree while they played a few games. When they came back to eat their bags were gone, and Tsuki politely asked if any of them had seen another person walk through here. According to them she was the first to walk through here since not many people come through this part of town during the day.

Tsuki pondered on some thoughts in her head as she wondered if one of the other kids stole the bags and is just not telling the truth. However all of them do appear to not have eaten recently and no child would take the time and dedication to doing something like this to themselves. This causes her attention to investigate the playground itself. They did tell her that the bags never left the tree, but Tsuki is double checking with her own eyes. Truth to their words Tsuki checked under the slides, the playhouses, and even the swing sets. There was no sign of any bag.

So the Tatsuda turns her investigation to the tree itself. By tilting her head to look up and there doesn't appear to be anything out of the ordinary. However this oak tree is thick enough to hold a creature or three. Telling the children to wait for her, Tsuki climbs up on this tree via hands and feet coated in chakra to magnetize herself onto the bark. Sure enough there was a hole in the trunk, and inside is a raccoon that is holding one of several bags. Tsuki figured that raccoons were scavengers but a thief on top of that? The Tatsuda snatched the raccoon by grabbing for the back of it's neck and made the hissing creature watch as Tsuki grabbed the lunch bags including the torn up one. Then she climbed back down to give the children their bags. Thankfully what the raccoon was eating is just a bag of barbecue chips and left the sandwich alone. Still Tsuki let's the rodent go as it scurries back to the tree and disappears in it's own home. The children thanked her and somehow poured enough ryo out of their pockets that sums up 10 thousand as payment for helping them. Tsuki accepts the reward as she reminds them that she did not help them for money, but it would have been rude to turn it down. Then the Tatsuda left from the scene as the children enjoyed their lunch.
