Suggestion : Help Desk

There should be an onsite area to submit threads and apps to be checked.

Cus I don't see one, unless staff just hover over apps to see when one is done?

That's not a bad idea although I'm not sure if it would be any more or less useful than the Discord one. Generally speaking, I just start from the bottom and go up when it comes to checking things. I tend to prioritize those who have been waiting the longest but sometimes if the reg requires more involved analysis I might save it for when I have more time.

Well on site, you could clear the posts where people requested, so it's easier to tell who has not be checked or has been waiting longer. . .

A system I am familiar with is where there is an onsite thread where people post modding requests, and then when a moderator takes care of these posts they make a post in the topic that indicates they have done so, called a "Clear". This is, in my opinion, much better of a system for mods. For one, you'll be able to see who got modded already instead of just scrolling up and checking every single link to see. Secondly, people who were skipped in the past can see that they were forgotten and then discuss things through Discord, rather than the strange bumping system that we currently have. It believe in general this would also be more organized than the current system, which has the potential to house discussions through discord.

I'm not saying we all need to go this far, but even just as a whole new section with threads, is super helpful. especially with mods who on;y have experience with certain apps.

I'm in favor of this, mainly because there might be members who either aren't interested in being i nthe discord all that much or are frankly, banned from it.

Those apps and requests shouldn't be punished because someone either has a chat personality that staff doesn't agree with and therefore removes, or someone doesn't want to be apart of the discord itself.

Sure, you can always DM apps to mods, but in my case, I'd feel like I was harassing them after a certain point.
