Mission Name: Bandit Leader Assassination
Mission Type: Assassination
Mission Rank: B
Mission Goal: Assassinate the Bandit Leader.
Description: A local bandit leader managed to escape the massacre of his crew and is looking to recruit new blood. He’s focusing on those with nothing left to their names. The desperate, the poor, those who would do anything. These people have done nothing wrong as of yet to warrant jail time except want food, shelter, and a warm place to sleep. Assassinating the bandit leader will take away this ill contrived meal ticket. Eliminate him and only him, any other deaths will result in mission failure.
Payment: 25,000
Requirements: C-Class or 2 D-Class.
The cave was dark, and the top of it was even darker. But it was the best place for her to hide while this new bandit leader gave his speech to the young and desperate. Akari wore her normal attire of black and red. A blouse, skirt, and knee socks outfit that had two ribbons in her hair as well. The shadows at the top of the cave hid her flawlessly while she looked down upon the crowd with her sharingan active. Only the leader had a decent level of chakra and he just so happened to be her target. He had been the leader of a bandit group that had been massacred and he’d managed to survive. He proceeded to try to round up men who were young and stupid, or destitute and desperate. Tried to tell them that they had a golden meal ticket in him.
The worst part was? They believed it too.
The masses were idiotic, but even she hadn’t thought they were this stupid. As her target built up his speech before sending them out to ‘gather’ supplies she would wait. As he gave his more seasoned men, those whom he could round up who had been bandits as well, orders. She would wait. Until he was alone in the cave to his thoughts. As he looked into the fire pit, alone, the room deathly quiet, she would let herself fall from the ceiling. As she fell, her sword already out, she would point it down. The force of gravity, her own weight, and the sharp blade, would kill the man instantly. No one would be close enough to the cave to hear the commotion and she’d swiftly exit, body flickering in order to get away from prying eyes as soon as she could. That should send those who hadn’t otherwise turned to crime yet toward other roads. Time to go home.
