    Description: Redirection is a jutsu that utilizes the flow of lightning in order to redirect a technique of that element. This technique allows the user, after forming the required hand seals to generate chakra in such a way to guide a lightning jutsu to one hand,  ‘catch’ that lightning jutsu in said hand, guide it through their body, avoiding the heart, and out the other hand in whatever direction that hand is pointing. In the process, the user does not take damage from the jutsu that had been redirected.

    This technique can, obviously, only be used on projectile lightning jutsu.

    It should be noted that ‘projectile’ in this case does include AoE, but does not include things like Chidori, Raikiri, and Lightning based Chakra Infusion. This is because these techniques have some sort of medium to carry the chakra and the technique cannot absorb the medium.

    In order to redirect a lightning technique in question the body must be ‘insulated’ against its power and as such requires just as much chakra to redirect as what went into casting the technique in question. This means that on top of the base cost of this jutsu the user must also pay chakra equal to the power level of the technique that is being redirected was.

    Redirected techniques retain power, speed, and range. More importantly the range is treated as if the jutsu is simply ‘continuing’ as Redirection does not ‘reset’ a jutsu, merely ‘redirects’ it.     Weaknesses: This technique can only be utilized against lightning jutsu. Furthermore the user has to pay an exorbitant amount of chakra in order to redirect something. The users own chakra cost reductions will not apply to the jutsu being redirected. This means that if one redirects a lightning technique with S power, they’ll pay 30 chakra on top of Redirections cost. This occurs regardless of if the jutsu being redirected costs that much or not. The reverse is also true, if a lightning jutsu redirected is A rank, but only has a power of B, the user will be B rank chakra to redirect it. Chakra cost reductions do apply to the cost of Redirection itself, simply not to the added cost needed to redirect a specific jutsu.

The users themselves are immune to the damage so long as they are the originator of the technique. This high voltage lightning within their body will arc around their chakra coils while the user keeps it from escaping. Should the user make contact with something they may release the pent of lightning into the target immediately at the point of contact and deal A rank lightning damage to whatever made contact.

    Metals and Liquids will have the technique spread through its entire surface area, electrocuting whatever might be in contact with said metal or liquid for A rank damage. This will only affect those within thirty meters of the user when they make contact with metal or liquid. This will however flow through multiple conductive materials touching. For example, in a kunai clash between the user and the target. The metal of the user's kunai  will conduct the lightning through it, into the other blade, and then into the target.

    Description: Pulse is similar in concept to an electromagnetic pulse that radiates out from the user. Once the hand seals are performed the user will clap their hands together and a nearly invisible electrical pulse will radiate outward going 40 meters in all directions. Should individuals be caught within the pulse it won’t do any damage, but will disrupt the chakra network of those caught by the pulse. While this won’t do anything permanent it will cause any currently ‘maintained’ techniques being used, including bloodlines, to fizzle temporarily and deactivate.

    This effect will only work for two posts and during that time anything that was caught by the pulse will be unable to be activated again. This pulse will affect anything that has a maintained chakra cost, so anything that costs any amount of chakra per post. It will not stop and cannot stop anything that just uses an initial cost of chakra. This technique can be completely resisted by those with a constitution higher than the power of the technique. Those who are caught by this jutsu will simply feel as if their chakra network has become ‘numb’ and will find that any maintained techniques that they had active when the pulse hit them will be unable to be activated. This will not stop the activation of different maintained techniques once the pulse has taken effect. Although different levels of the same maintained technique will be unable to be activated.
    Weaknesses: Indiscriminate, so it targets enemies and allies, only targets specific kinds of techniques and will do nothing to stop anything that doesn’t have a sustained cost.

    Redirection ~ I would like this to have to pay more chakra than Technique it's redirecting, i.e. you pay B in order to redirect a C tech. Etc. Additionally as an A-Rank this will only be able to effect B-Rank and lower this way

    Pulse ~ this wouldn't be able to stop S-Rank maintained techs as an A-Rank so please make a note of that, or raise the rank to S.

    If I might respectfully debate with you good sir.
    I would be willing to make this one a bit different in how it functions in terms of chakra, but paying more than what the techniques power would equate feels quite a bit much. Especially considering Redirection cannot store the jutsu for later, nor does it give him anything out of it except for a redirection of a jutsu of a very specific element. Not only that, but being unable to affect jutsu of equal rank seems like a bit much as well. If I may propose a different arrangement.

    Keep the rank as A, to denote the difficulty of the tech and not exactly the cost, power, etc.

    The chakra cost would vary based on the rank of jutsu the user redirects. So if the user were trying to redirect an S rank the base cost would then be that of an S rank. This chakra cost can be discounted. Then however the user has to insulate their body against the power of the tech they're redirecting. So if the tech in question had S rank power they would be pay an additional 30 chakra. If it was an S rank of E power for whatever reason it would cost an additional amount of 1 chakra. This additional payment could [i]not
    be discounted under any circumstances. Should a technique in question not have a power the additional cost becomes 1 rank less than it's rank. Which again, cannot be discounted further.

    So a few examples to make this clear.

    Jim Bo decides to uses an S rank Lightning Jutsu with A rank power.
    I use Redirection.
    I have to pay the initial of redirection to activate, which in this case becomes 30 because it's going up against an S rank technique.
    This chakra cost gets reduced by one ranks worth so it goes down to 20.
    In order to protect himself successfully from the technique however he'd have to pay chakra equal to the techniques power rank. So in this case since it's A, that would require me to pay an additional A ranks worth of chakra. Which totals out to 40 chakra.

    S rank technique with S rank power? 50 chakra
    S rank technique with no power? 40 chakra, since the powers rank is considered to be the ranks - 1
    B rank technique with B rank power? 15 chakra

    This is assuming there's a 1 rank discount affecting this technique, to paint these numbers in their worst possible light.

    As it's written now I would still pay 40 chakra to redirect a tech with S rank power (No matter what rank that tech might actually be). The intent of this was to cause me to pay more because of those who raised the power of their techniques somehow. Basically the formula for what this tech cost as written is

    redirected jutsu's power in chakra + 10.

    It's important to say that not matter HOW this tech breaks down in  the compromised version I outlined above I'm always paying more chakra than whoever cast the tech did. (Unless someone did something really weird and make a jutsu with a power 2 or more ranks below the rank of the technique but I find that to be unlikely.)

    It's also important to note that with the outlined version it could work on any rank of projectile lightning jutsu, the rank is only to showcase the difficulty of the tech.

    S rank maintained techniques only cost A rank chakra per post though in the vast majority of situations, I'm willing to make it S rank, but I do feel like it might be a bit much for a tech that has a set duration on the 'stun' that cannot be increased at all and is already rather short. Two posts really isn't that long.

    Also, for the sake of making sure that all thoughts behind this jutsu are clear I've added the following lines for clarification in the second paragraph.

    'This effect will only work for two posts and during that time anything that was caught by the pulse will be unable to be activated again. This pulse will affect anything that has a maintained chakra cost, so anything that costs any amount of chakra per post. This includes techniques and bloodlines, such as Sharingan, Byakugan, etc. Anything that has to be 'activated' It will not stop and cannot stop anything that just uses an initial cost of chakra, or bloodlines that are forcefully activated, such as a Senju's Regeneration. Those who are caught by this jutsu will simply feel as if their chakra network has become ‘numb’ and will find that any maintained techniques that they had active when the pulse hit them will be unable to be activated. This will not stop the activation of different maintained techniques once the pulse has taken effect. Although different levels of the same maintained technique will be unable to be activated.
    Weaknesses: Indiscriminate, so it targets enemies and allies, only targets specific kinds of techniques and will do nothing to stop anything that doesn’t have a sustained cost.

    Description: Overload is a technique that charges raiton chakra into the user's body that is immediately transferred into the body of someone the user touches once the hand seals have been completed. Contact of any kind transfers the chakra over to the individual that touched the user  and the lightning moves into the body and viciously overloads the nervous system of the afflicted.

    The nervous system overload will do no actual damage but will effectively shut it down for a brief time. Two posts to be precise. During that time the afflicteds five senses will be completely shut down as the nervous system overloads and all five senses 'fry'.     Description: Overload is a technique that charges raiton chakra into the user's body that is immediately transferred into the body of someone the user touches once the hand seals have been completed. Contact of any kind transfers the chakra over to the individual that touched the user  and the lightning moves into the body and viciously overloads the nervous system of the afflicted.

    The nervous system overload will do no actual damage but will effectively shut it down for a brief time. Two posts to be precise. During that time the afflicteds five senses will be completely shut down as the nervous system overloads and all five senses 'fry'.     Description: The seal allows the user to place a modified storage seal upon an object that will automatically expel a poisonous gas the user loads into it. The seal works similarly to an explosion tag in that all that has to be done is that chakra be channeled into the seal via direct contact. Once this is done the user can detonate the seal and release the poison with the ram handsign. The seal once released will expel the poison gas in it's vicinity at the speed this technique possesses. Up to five doses of poison can be loaded into the tag although once expelled all doses will be used. What putting more doses into the seal does is increase the size of the total gas cloud.

    Per Chemistry rules a single dose of poison expelled from this seal will result in a 5x5x5 cloud. Each additional dose will increase the size of this cloud by another 5x5x5. Up to 25x25x25. This user must be within 50m of the seal to detonate. These tags are permanent after creation until used (1 time use each).

    Description: Pulse Burst is a technique that fires out a domelike burst of raiton chakra, emanating from Tamwyn. The dome of black raiton appears as multiple crackling arcs of electricity firing outward from him with the streams of raiton chakra arcing into each other as well. The technique will move out to twenty meters in every direction from Tamwyn before dissipating. Any and all with the exception of Tamwyn himself (and his equipment obviously) will be hit with damage equivalent to the jutsu's power. The dome will explode from him at a speed equal to the jutsu's speed stat. This technique also carries the black raiton jutsu's elemental advantages. Although, unlike it's parent technique, it cannot be controlled once released.


    Weaknesses: This technique requires black lightning to be active. It does not distinguish between friend and foe.
