    The Senju Clan
    of The Hidden Leaf Village
    Advanced Element: Mokuton (Wood Release)
    Some Senju Guy

    Clan History/Description
Centuries before the time of the Sage of the Six Paths, a meteor crashed upon the earth, devastating the land and the people living near the impact site. After suffering heavy losses from this tragedy, the people began to move on from that place, but a few noticed subtle signs of the landscape returning back to normal, flourishing, even, and they stayed. Those stragglers set up a home for themselves near the meteor and thrived in the magical properties of what they thought was a boulder from the heavens, a blessing from the gods that gave life to everything near it. They felt stronger near it, more connected to nature, and so they protected it, creating a small village around the impact site that they guarded with their lives.

Many years passed and those people began to notice changes within themselves. With each new generation, they grew stronger and healthier than before, as if the heavenly stone were bathing them in its power, alongside the land. With this physical power, the people became stronger than all other humans on earth, and lived in simplistic peace and tranquility for a long time.

The stone eventually began to change, having taken roots in the ground that nobody could have noticed, enhancing the power it drew from the planet until it was finally able to grow a stem from what the people now knew as a seed, for a great plant grew from it that reached into the very heavens, a plant that came to be called the God Tree. With the tree now formed, its power shone throughout the land, spreading further than just its guardians, though it did not bestow the same physical prowess. Instead, it spread its energy, imbuing all of humanity over the course of several generations with what we now know as Chakra.

When the representative of the interdimensional Otsutsuki Clan, Kaguya, came into this world to claim the power of the God Tree for herself, she was faced with tremendous resistance, as the guardians of the great tree, the Senju Clan of the Forest, manifested a power not seen in the world. They could give life to trees and plants, manipulating and altering the landscape. With their Mokuton, the Senju were able to keep Kaguya from taking the tree for herself, but she was not to be stopped. The Rabbit Goddess, realizing that something had gone wrong with the God Tree and that its fruit was not forming as normal, corrupted it, causing the great plant to mutate into the ferocious Juubi that devastated the land. Fight though they might, the Senju were no match for the mighty creature, which wreaked upon them the same devastation that had befallen their ancestors so many years ago.

The Senju survivors fled deep into the forests of what is now known as the Land of Fire, to keep hidden from the terrible Rabbit Goddess and her terrible monstrosity. Kaguya then began her conquest of the nations, taking over the many villages and groups that only had limited potential with their chakra. She eventually took the Juubi into herself, becoming the first Jinchuuriki in existence. This solidified her claims to power and erased any hope of being overthrown, until her children were born.

The Senju remained in hiding within their forests for a long time, until word had spread to the world that the Rabbit Goddess had been defeated by her sons, Hamura and Hagoromo. Some Senju even departed to learn from this Sage of the Six Paths, but most remained to build a home for themselves once again. Chakra had now spread to every part of the continent, and over more decades, other clans with Kekkei Genkai of their own were starting to form. The Senju, though the first clan by far, might have made a more prominent name for themselves in the earlier days of history, but the disaster they faced at the hands of Kaguya and her demon mitigated their potential to that of the other clans, and so they grew as one of them, taking up prominence only in the Land of Fire alongside the Hyuga and, eventually, the Uchiha.

Never a people for ruling over others, the Senju did not contend with the Hyuga for ownership of their empire, and enjoyed a time of peace under it, but the rule had become sour, and before a century had passed, many Senju were orchestrating ways to break the Hyuga’s rule. No such time ever came until the Uchiha were born, splitting from the Hyuga and causing such disarray that the first empire lost its impervious might, and the Senju, alongside the Uchiha and other lesser clans of the Land of Fire, were able to break that hold, which paved the way for the Kazehana.

Following this great breakthrough was a time of war unlike any before, where Uchiha and Hyuga were locked in heated struggle to eradicate the other, leaving great destruction in their wake. The other clans of the Land, including the Senju, wanted no part in this conflict, and so kept to themselves, far away from the terrible bloodshed of those great battles. It was during this time that the Senju brokered a peace agreement with the lesser clans, and formed the first alliance in the nation, bound not by rule or lordship, but by allies and trust.

As the conflict between the Uchiha and the Hyuga finally came to a head with the return of the Uchiha Clan's new leader, Kazuya, the Senju helped to finally broker a peace between all of the clans within the Land of Fire, and in hand with the Hyuga, the Uchiha, the Yamanaka, the Aburame, the Nara, and the Akimichi, the Senju built upon the remains of a bloodied battlefield the foundation of what soon became the Hidden Leaf Village. As the leader of the Uchiha took the position of Hokage at the behest of the Senju leader and representative, the Senju themselves, alongside the other clans, were each given their own districts over which they were to rule, subservient only to the Hokage and the village as a whole.

    Clan/Bloodline Traits & Characteristics
Members of the Senju Clan are generally taller and of a stronger build than most other people. Their skin tone most often reflects their lineage as a people guarding a bare landscape, before they become known as a people of the forest and basked in the sunlight for many generations. They are tan with dark eyes and even darker hair, most often black, though some have been born with completely white hair, a lighter, almost pale skin tone, and eyes as red as the blood moon.

    Bloodline Description & Abilities
The Senju Clan is known for two key aspects of their lineage: physical power and the Mokuton. While the Mokuton is a fairly rare gene, as the Mangekyou Sharingan is to the Uchiha, the natural physical advantages of the Senju Clan is not. As members of a powerful family with roots dating back to the days of the Sage, the Senju possess bodies more suited to the harsh living conditions of the shinobi, able to take more punishment and fight on longer than most of their peers. Those that choose to focus on this trait see even greater results, reaching points in their natural forms that most others must use techniques to maintain. Senju receive a natural two + bonus to either Constitution or Stamina, to be chosen by the player soon after registration.  Should any Senju progress either of those stats to S-Tier, then the unboosted stat will receive the same two + bonus. As with most Bloodline related boosts, these are considered Generic.

Taking this physical component a step further is the Regeneration Ability. This is a healing factor that immediately mends any damage caused to the body, recovering up to but not including severed limbs or half destroyed organs. This ability is passive once unlocked and will drain 2 points of Stamina every post that it’s used in, creating a potential hazard for the user in automatic chakra exhaustion. Not everyone unlocks this ability, however, for while most have it, it lies dormant within them until awakened by exhaustive training, represented by spending 1000 Experience Points. As a cool bonus feature, this ability also passively sustains the body once unlocked, removing any need to eat or drink.

While most Senju focus on the training of their bodies to take advantage of their natural ability, some have, through intense training, manifested the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai. This is an advanced element comprised of Earth Release and Water Release, used in conjunction with a higher Yoton ratio to create within the user a source of life, affording the ability to generate wood and trees from oneself or one’s environment. This is one of the most versatile abilities, as it can be used both defensively and offensively to great potential, with a sole weakness to Lightning Release. Mokuton is also an ability closely related to the Bijuu, providing an inherent control over them through the use of certain high ranking and forbidden techniques, which is perhaps what makes this one of the most coveted advanced elements in the world. This advanced element costs 2000 Experience Points to unlock.

All of these abilities may be unlocked by any Senju, in any order desired, so long as the appropriate costs are paid.

    Bloodline Limits & Drawbacks
The natural enhancement of the Senju’s body via stat bonuses is partially transplantable in that the initial two + boost can be gained via implant, but the second one that is earned by reaching S-Tier in one of those stats, is not. If the Senju donor has already obtained this second bonus, however, then even it can be transferred to the recipient. That, in combination with the implant bonuses provided by this Kekkei Genkai, along with the Regeneration Ability and Mokuton, make it one of the highest value targets for Bloodline hunters.

As stated earlier, the Regeneration Ability is unable to affect severed limbs or organs that are 50% or more destroyed. Additionally, it is a passive process that will continue to drain the Senju’s reserves until there is none left to draw, leaving the user in an unconscious state so that energy may return. Theoretically, a Senju can be kept unconscious so long as wounds are continuously inflicted. For implant recipients, this ability costs no Experience, but must have been unlocked in the Senju donor prior to harvesting.

The Mokuton is inherently weak to Raiton, making its Power one rank less when clashing with a technique of that element.  This is one of the abilities not reliant on donor progression to unlock; regardless of the level of the Senju donor, an implant recipient can unlock the Mokuton at the given Experience cost.

    Clan Techniques

Name: Hokage-Style Sixty-Year-Old Technique — Kakuan Entering Society with Bliss-Bringing Hands
    Rank: S
    Activation Cost: Varies
    Upkeep Cost: None
    Range: Touch
    Speed: Instant
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None; S-Tier Stamina
    Parent Technique: None
Hand Seals: Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram → Monkey → Tiger
Description: This technique activates the inherent link between the Senju's Mokuton and the Juubi, the progenitor of all Bijuu. By forming the hand seals and causing a series of ten pillars in a circle around the target Bijuu or Jinchuuriki, the user is able to channel an aura of chakra over the hand of himself or a creature he is connected to, such as the Wood Release: Golem Technique, Susano'o, or Tailed Beast Mode. Once this hand makes contact with the Bijuu or Jinchuuriki, all of its demonic chakra is forcibly suppressed, causing the Bijuu to sleep for the remainder of the topic and the three that follow it, and all Bijuu related powers to fail. The pillars can be used to close in on the Bijuu or Jinchuuriki to attempt to hold it in place, with Strength equivalent to the amount of chakra paid to use this technique, which is B in its base form.

If the user has a natural S-Tier Stamina, this technique may be used without the need of the pillars, but at an increased cost of A-Rank chakra. Pillars may still be used, if desired, and will have the increased Strength of A-Tier to match the increased cost.
Weaknesses: The user or the creature he is connected to must make direct contact with a hand. In the case of elastic type creatures, as the long reaching Tailed Beast Chakra Arms, the limb with which this technique is used may not be extended. If the user does not possess S-Tier Stamina, then the technique can be defeated by shattering the pillars. The user can cause them to regrow at the cost of 2 points per pillar, but the technique cannot be used until all pillars are fully formed and surrounding the target. This is irrelevant if the user meets the Stamina requirement.

    Name: Inukai Takeru no Mikoto
    Rank: A
    Power: S
    Activation Cost: A
    Upkeep Cost: None
    Range: 50m
    Speed: Varies
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification:Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: God Tree
Parent Technique: Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique
    Hand Seals: None
Description: By channeling chakra into the bark of the God Tree, the user is able to fashion three wooden dragons at its base, each equal in size to the one created by the parent technique, but varying in that the snouts of these dragons are shorter and the teeth elongated. The Speed of these creatures is equal to the amount of chakra paid into this technique, which can be increased upon use. They can extend up to 50 meters from the base of the God Tree and will absorb chakra from anything they come into contact with, removing 5 points of stamina each time contact is made, or per second; this chakra is transferred to the God Tree directly, which is also responsible for the upkeep of the technique, leaving no cost to the user aside from the one for activation.
Weaknesses: Requires the God Tree to use.

    Name: Wood Clone Technique
    Rank: A
    Activation Cost: None
    Upkeep Cost: None
    Range: 1 km
    Speed: N/A
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: Shadow Clone Technique
Hand Seals: Tiger → Dog → Snake
Description: The Wood Clone is formed by using chakra to alter the user's own cells into vegetation, thus creating one or more perfect duplicates that share an even amount of chakra with the user upon their creation. Like normal shadow clones, these do not cost any chakra to create, and they are able to fight as would the user, with the added benefit of being more durable than the average shadow clone. These clones are able to sustain as much damage as would be required to kill a person before they disperse, making this clone jutsu the nearest to perfection. These clones are able to freely communicate with the user at any time and may travel a distance up to the maximum range of one kilometer from the user before dispersing. These clones are also able to merge with any plant life while still maintaining awareness of their surroundings, making them excellent for reconnaissance. Like other clones, they still return all unspent chakra to the user, along with any memories and experiences they have acquired.
Weaknesses: These clones require more chakra than the normal clone to function. While the normal Shadow Clone needs no less than five points of stamina to remain functional, a Wood Clone needs ten. The clone is still able to dip into this limit to use a technique, but the moment that technique ends, the clone will disperse, and the remaining chakra is returned to the user. Like normal Shadow Clones, Wood Clones require some level of concentration to maintain, and may be limited in use as outlined by such complex techniques as the Red Yang Formation.

Name: Multiple Wood Release Clone Technique
    Rank: S
    Activation Cost: None
    Upkeep Cost: None
    Range: 1 km
    Speed: N/A
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
Parent Techniques: Wood Clone Technique; Multiple Shadow Clone Technique
    Hand Seals: Clone Seal
Description: This jutsu is used to create a large number of Wood Release Shadow Clones with the principle of both parent techniques in order to greatly conserve chakra by using much more refined method of clone generation and sustainment. What this does is create the same clones described in the Wood Clone technique, but with a minimum chakra requirement of only 0.2 points per clone, allowing potentially hundreds more to be created.

This technique can still be used without knowledge of the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, though the chakra used in creating the clones will be much less refined. Therefore, the number of clones created can be no less than ten and each must maintain a chakra level of at least five points each in order to continue functioning.
Weaknesses: The clones hold the same weaknesses as outlined in the Wood Clone Technique, though with the chakra minimums of 0.2 or 5, whichever is applicable. The secondary use of the technique, which uses that 5 point minimum, can be replaced with the primary version as soon as the user learns the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique.

Name: Wood Release: Several Hundred Hands
    Rank: S
    Upkeep Cost: 10
    Range: 30 m
    Speed: B-Tier
    Strength: A-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: None
    Hand Seals: None
Description: The user slams his hands on the ground to call forth a gigantic wooden statue with appearance similar to a robed monk with both hands held in front as though in prayer. A round wooden base on the statue's back functions as the center for one hundred wooden arms just as thick as the main arms, but much longer, able to reach the ground up to 30 meters away. The arms attack with the noted Strength of A-Tier, while the avatar itself moves with the indicated Speed of B-Tier, skimming the ground without using its legs to walk and destroying anything in its path. The size of this statue is comparable to full-size Wood Golem Technique or the Complete Body Susano'o.
Weaknesses: The user generally remains stationary on top of the wooden avatar, but is by no means directly protected by it. Given the statue's relatively slow movement speed and the fact that it is made of wood, it can be avoided and/or destroyed.

Name: Sage Art Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands
    Rank: S
    Power: X
    Activation Cost: 30
    Upkeep Cost: 15
    Range: 300m
    Speed: B-Tier
    Strength: S-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu; Senjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
Parent Technique: Sage Mode; Wood Release: Several Hundred Hands
    Hand Seals: Snake
Description: After entering Sage Mode, the user creates a wooden statue of titanic proportions; easily able to dwarf a full-sized Kurama, as well as a Complete Body — Susanoo. Thousands of hands originate from the statue's back in countless concentric rows, while its two main hands are clasped, as if in prayer. The statue can serve a variety of purposes in battle, from fighting on the user's behalf to defending and even using several derived techniques. The sheer size of this technique makes it almost impossible to attack the user.

It can also detach its main self from its main arsenal to increase its mobility to adapt to a situation that requires more speed, enhancing Speed to A-Tier while maintaining the same level of Strength. With its immense power, it can grab hold of even a tailed beast with ease and hold it in place, leaving it unable to move.

Weaknesses: While detached from the main arsenal, the statue is unable to make use of the multitude of hands. As this technique is a Sage Art, it requires Sage Mode to be active and is an application of the Senjutsu Technique Enhancement ability, draining 15 points from the user's regular Stamina and 15 points from the user's Senjutsu pool. Additionally, because the raw power of this technique is already considered X-Rank, it cannot be improved further by any kind of power rank increases.

    Name: Top Transformed Buddha
    Rank: B
    Power: A
    Activation Cost: 15
    Range: 60m
    Speed: A-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
Parent Technique: Wood Release: Several Hundred Hands
    Hand Seals: None
Description: After creating the statue of the parent technique, the user clasps his hands together, willing all of the hands contained on the statue's back to lunge forward with full power. This technique increases the speed of these hands by a tier, from the base technique's B-Tier to A-Tier, but retains the original power of A-Tier Strength. All of the hands storm an area at once, devastating it with hundreds of powerful attacks all at once, making it nearly impossible to avoid or defend against. Once the punches have finished, the arms can be retracted for further use of this technique.

When used with the Sage Art Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands, this technique still enhances Speed to A-Tier, but increases the range to 600m, the power to S-Rank, and the cost to A-Rank. All of the hands on the statue's back devastate an immense area with tremendous force, using the same power as is in the base technique, to form an ultimate attack that is virtually impossible to dodge or block and causes destruction on par, if not greater than, a Tailed Beast Bomb. The hands are unable to sustain the kind of force projected by this version of the technique, causing their destruction and making them useless for the remainder of the base technique's duration.

Weaknesses: Each use of this technique is a one-shot attack, so even when the arms are retracted for another use, this jutsu will need to be activated again. The hands are still wooden and, though thick and powerful, can potentially be blocked or destroyed, though this becomes much less likely in the case of the Sage Art Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands. There is a trade off to this, though, in that the hands in that higher level jutsu will be permanently destroyed after this technique's use.

Name: Wood Release: Five Element Combination Technique
    Rank: A
    Range: 300m
    Speed: B-Tier
    Element: Mokuton; Varies
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
Parent Technique: Wood Release: Several Hundred Hands
    Hand Seals: None
Description: Using the giant statue as a medium, the user clasps his hands and channels a basic element through each of the five smaller heads encircling the statue's main head to have them simultaneously release a stream of that element. The power of each of these streams is approximately equal to a B-Rank ninjutsu attack, but are intended to devastate a group or the landscape with more elemental natures than they would be able to handle. This technique is limited by the user, as the basic elements that can be used with this are the basic elements known by the user. This jutsu can also be used with the Sage Art Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands, which increases the range to 600m, but maintains the same level of power.
Weaknesses: Each individual elemental stream is weaker than the overall power of the technique and can be beaten by matching the streams with their weaknesses. An enemy that is able to use as many or more elements than the user will be able to overcome this technique fairly easily through the use of shadow clones. This technique is limited to one stream per element, so it is weaker when the user has less than five elements, but the cost remains the same.

    Name: Spontaneous Tree Summoning
    Rank: B
    Activation Cost: 15
    Range: Self
    Speed: Instant
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: None
    Hand Seals: None
Description: This is a technique devised as a last resort response to an attack by using one's own cells to instantly generate a large tree that grows to maximum size in under two seconds. Due to the speed of the cast and the lack of hand seals, this technique is considerably more expensive than other Mokuton techniques of its rank and power, which is what makes it a last resort, as it is much less than ideal. Most attacks can be blocked by the presence of the tree, while some, like a Susano'o arrow, will pierce the tree but can the trajectory changed by it, thereby saving the user at the last possible moment. Once the tree is grown, it detaches from the part of the user from which it grew and remains in place.
Weaknesses: This is a close range ninjutsu, since it requires the user's own cells to create, and the user's body must remain attached to the tree until it is fully grown, leaving the user momentarily open to an assault from a place unprotected by the tree, which can only grow to one side of the user, and not every place at once.

    Name: Transmission Wood
    Rank: C
    Upkeep Cost: 1
    Range: 3km
    Speed: N/A
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: Wood Clone Technique
    Hand Seals: None
Description: By creating a Wood Clone and turning it into a seed, the user is able to continuously detect the location of that seed up to three kilometers away. This is intended as a method of tracking by attaching a seed to a target or causing ingestion. Once attached, the seed will not be removed unless specifically removed by someone, as it is especially sticky.
Weaknesses: This is not a sensory technique, so while it divulges the target's location, it does not offer any indication to chakra levels, use, intent, or anything else not relating to location. Once a clone is made into a seed, it cannot be changed into anything else, including its original form.

Name: Wood Release: Nativity of a Sea of Trees
    Rank: B
    Range: 30m
    Speed: B-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Open
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: None
    Hand Seals: Snake
Description: After forming the hand seal, the user is able to create a dense forest within the maximum range over the course of a few seconds. These trees are fairly powerful in their growth, able to penetrate stone and earthen walls as they expand from raw chakra to small roots to full grown trees.
Weaknesses: Unlike the more famous variation of this technique, trees created by this jutsu cannot be manipulated to ensnare targets.

Name: Wood Release Secret Technique: Nativity of a World of Trees
    Rank: S
    Range: 100m
    Speed: A-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
Parent Technique: Wood Release: Nativity of a Sea of Trees
    Hand Seals: Snake
Description: The prized hidden jutsu of the Senju Clan, where the user forces a multitude of trees to grow on any surface, easily creating a dense forest up to the maximum range on any location desired. The trees grow and move fairly quickly, with power enough to shatter stone, but are continuously maneuvered by the user over the course of three posts (including the one it's activated in), to ensnare and attack any targets within range. This is a jutsu which severely alters the landscape in the user's favor while also making escape virtually impossible for any targets within range.
Weaknesses: The technique can only be active for three posts and afterwards the trees remain in place, with no further advantages to the user other than their presence, which may make other Mokuton jutsu easier to use. As the trees created by this technique are regular trees, with thickness varying by user preference, they can be fought and destroyed.

Name: Wood Release: Advent of a World of Flowering Trees
    Rank: A
    Range: 100m
    Speed: B-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: None
    Hand Seals: Snake
Description: Where Nativity of a World of Trees creates a dense forest of tall and powerful trees, this technique creates a dense forest of thick, powerful branching roots with a multitude of flowers on top of them at random intervals. While forming over the course of the post this technique is activated and the one that follows, these roots can be used to grow out and capture targets at the indicated speed. After that, however, on the third post, the branches will cease to grow and the flowers will bloom, spreading a potent pollen over the entire range that reaches up to 25 meters above the ground. Anyone that breathes in this pollen is rendered unconscious leaving them at the mercy of the user.
Weaknesses: A-Tier Constitution can resist the effects of the pollen indefinitely. However, the body constantly fights against the pollen even in those unable to resist, increasing all targets' Constitution by a plus for every post that they're unconscious until they hit A-Tier, at which point they awake and may use one post to try and escape before their Constitution resets and the cycle starts over. Simply remaining outside of the pollen's range will negate any consequences of it over the course of a post.

    Name: Wood Release: Cutting Technique
    Rank: B
    Upkeep Cost: 5
    Range: 25m
    Speed: B-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: None
    Hand Seals: Ram
Description: The user channels Mokuton chakra into his hands to stimulate his cells and transmute them into vegetation, causing the growth of spiked branches that can be fired as projectiles at the indicated Speed with a maximum length of two meters or held in the hand as chakra reinforced spikes, with power greater than a wooden staff and an edge sharp enough to impale and pierce through wood and leather. Whenever one of these spikes pierce into a something, the user can form the initial hand seal to cause the branch to explode in sudden growth to penetrate the target from the inside many times over in a bloody mess of spiked branches and flesh.

This technique can be channeled through large creations such as a Tailed Beast the user is directly linked to, Tailed Beast Mode, Susano'o, the Wood Golem technique, or something like it. In this case, the range is doubled.
Weaknesses: Projectiles not being wielded as close range weapons are not reinforced by chakra and can be destroyed or blocked like normal wooden spikes. Because the user must form the Ram seal to cause the growth of the spikes, he cannot fire any while doing so, which may leave an opening when he would otherwise storm an area with barraging wood spikes.

Name: Wood Release: Foo Dog Heads
    Rank: B
    Upkeep Cost: 5
    Range: 30m
    Speed: B-Tier
    Strength: A-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: None
    Hand Seals: None
Description: This is a technique designed to be specifically used to absorb a tailed beast's chakra. The user produces the "sit" (座, suwaru) kanji on their palm and creates a series of wooden pillars, which are engraved with what resemble foo dog faces and have lit wicks on top of them. When the user slams their palm on the ground, the wooden statues rush towards the target and forcibly restrain it while draining the Bijuu chakra from it, reducing the Jinchuuriki's state by one per post until none are active.
Weaknesses: This jutsu is ineffective against Bijuu and Jinchuuriki that are using Tailed Beast Mode; it does work on Chakra Mode, surprisingly. If the target can muster enough strength to overpower the dog heads, it can break them, forcing the user to regrow them over the course of a post.

    Name: Wood Release: Hotei Technique
    Rank: S
    Upkeep Cost: 15
    Range: 50m
    Speed: A-Tier
    Strength: S-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: None
    Hand Seals: Technique Specific
Description: This technique creates up to seven gigantic wooden hands that emerge from the ground with intent to restrain massive targets, like Tailed Beasts. The hands can function in any way desired, using massive size and great Strength to their advantage, along with a very high amount of Speed to attack and defend as desired, but due to their set base, they are not very maneuverable, leaving their optimal function as a circle around a large target to entrap it. This technique is activated by clasping the hands and then forming the technique specific seal, but it can be preceded by up to two hands raising from the ground before the hand seals are formed. In the case that those two hands are the only ones formed, this technique's cost is reduced to A-Rank.
Weaknesses: The hands are truly massive and are therefore immune to most forms of attack by virtue of their size alone, but given the scope of the technique and the intended targets for it, the hands may be vulnerable to attack, especially at their base, by Bijuu, Susano'o, and similar massive attacks, particularly those that cut.

Name: Wood Release: Smothering Binding Technique
    Rank: B
    Range: 30m
    Speed: B-Tier
    Strength: A-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
Parent Technique: Wood Release: Great Forest Technique
    Hand Seals: Snake
Description: After forming the hand seal, the user transforms his arm into a tree that branches multiple times and extends rapidly to reach a target and then grow around it, restraining it with considerable force to mobilize it. This is a jutsu intended to target large scale summons and monsters.
Weaknesses: The wood can be broken and even dodged, for it must make contact before it can grow around the target, though it can branch off a few times prior to that in order to increase the odds of making contact.

Name: Wood Release: Tree Bind Flourishing Burial (Anime only)
    Rank: A
    Range: 15m
    Speed: A-Tier
    Strength: S-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Open
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: None
Hand Seals: Snake → Rat → Dragon → Dog → Tiger
Description: This technique summons a series of thin roots around the target that emerge from the ground and swiftly ensnare an opponent and then grow into a full grown tree with only the target's head remaining exposed. The power of the tree's binding is tremendous and in most cases will be able to hold a person indefinitely, or until the user will's the tree's branches to grow further, crushing the opponent's body and head completely.
Weaknesses: The roots, while fast, can be dodged or ripped off by a quick enough opponent. Because the roots grow from the ground, the target must be touching the ground for this to work, or else the target will have much more time to react as they will be shooting out. If the ground is not earth or water, this technique cannot be used. If the target has a strength greater than S Tier they can break out of the trap.

Name: Wood Release: Underground Roots Technique
    Rank: A
    Upkeep Cost: 10
    Range: 50m
    Speed: B-Tier
    Strength: S-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: None
    Hand Seals: None
Description: After clasping his hands together, the user can cause a multitude of large or thin roots to grow from himself or from the ground which then expand towards any desired targets to bind or crush them with tremendous force. This is especially true with the thicker roots, which have the indicated speed and power, but thinner roots can also be used, which increase the Speed by one Tier and reduce the Strength by one Tier, so that faster targets can be caught, though less force will be applied to them.
Weaknesses: As the roots are still wood, they can be destroyed as normal, though in the case of using raw physical power, they will need to be overpowered. Lightning Release or cutting edges with powerful force behind them are suggested. They can just be avoided, as well.

Name: Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique
    Rank: S
    Power: A
    Activation Cost: 20
    Upkeep Cost: 10
    Range: 100m
    Speed: A-Tier
    Strength: S-Tier
    Element: Mokuton
    Skill: Ninjutsu
    Classification: Group Exclusive (Senju)
    Requirements: None
    Parent Technique: None
Hand Seals: Snake → Ram → Hare → Dog → Snake
Description: After forming the hand seals, the user creates a giant wooden chinese dragon that can emerge from either a part of his body or any part of earth. This dragon varies in appearance between a traditional chinese dragon or one with an elongated, trunk-like nose. It is fully capable of flying and is used to wrap around targets as would a massive snake, restraining them with great power and then draining away their chakra. This drain effect is initiated by the dragon biting into the target, which will remove 10 points of chakra per post of contact. This energy is not returned to the user, but it can be used for the upkeep of the dragon. The constriction effect can also be used against Tailed Beasts, but as they are larger, the dragon will typically attempt to target the joints and wrap around the body in such a way that movement of the limbs becomes difficult, if not impossible.
Weaknesses: The chakra draining effect is born of the head, so removing the head will negate that ability. Otherwise, the dragon is a construct of wood and, though massive, may be destroyed accordingly.
