The evening air was cool and crisp in the island nation as Valen sat atop a building. He was kicking his feet out in boredom as he waited for his mission partner to arrive so that they could start their mission. Some rowdy bunch of teens had started causing a ruckus at night and tagging shops with graffiti and other such things. Of course Valen had to ask what ‘Graffiti’ was since he had never encountered the term before. The mission desk administrator was not pleased to have to play teacher for him but Valen didn’t really care. He was actually back from the Emporium, taking time to visit home given the length of the festival and such and had decided to take on some missions. He had been told he would be senior shinobi on this one, meaning he was the one in charge. That was new to him, but it didn’t seem like it would be too difficult.
He had his weapon with him, the Hai no Ha, and it was secured firmly to a belt. In general he was in more appropriate shinobi gear now that he was home for a bit. Gone was the black silk and satin kimono. Now he wore black shinobi pants and a black compression shirt that hugged his form tightly. Over that he wore a simple cloak and his forehead protector was on his head. Idly he looked around at the area. His mission partner should be here any time now. He had given the meeting location to the mission desk admin who had nodded at the location without batting an eye. ‘On the rooftops of the street the shops getting tagged’ was simple enough he supposed.
