Eight Minutes to Midnight

Mission:

The alarm sounding followed by the report of 5 escaped convicts, instantly made Ren think about Blitz and Kaida. The two Kiri Shinobi that he had just arrested before they could leave the village, he couldn't help but wonder if the two of them were the cause of this Prison Break. Of course, if they were, then it wouldn't bode very well for them considering there would be no escape from the village for any of the convicts. Rushing out the door, Ren would activate Rain Tiger at Will, the rain clouds forming over the village as the downpour would begin. Not many knew of Ren's ability with the Rain, though most of the village was slowly getting familiar with it and if Blitz or Kaida were among the five then they would know to try to avoid it, but if he was over thinking things and the two Kiri Nin were not among them then he would likely have an advantage on finding them. Due to the alarm most of the civilians would be directed into their homes, there would be a patrol that would go door to door to ensure that the convicts were not hiding in one of the homes. If they were, the only hope was that they would find them before the convicts were able to hurt one of the civilians. Ren however was part of the unit that was to protect the walls of the village, so as with the Kiri Nin he would head for the gate first to ensure that they were closed so that there would be less chance of them getting past the wall. From the gate he would start searching through his rain for those that did not appear to be heading home or were moving suspiciously. Since his rain couldn't penetrate a house, he would have to rely on the other group if the convicts were hiding in one of them. As luck would have it, he would find the small group moving through the market area. He couldn't be sure until he got there. If it was actually them, he needed to get to them before they could get too far, if only to eliminate them as suspects if they were not the escaped convicts. The fact that the village leadership wanted them recaptured alive was a slight disappointment, he would have much preferred elimination as he would have more options of taking them out. That was not to say that he did not have ways of taking care of them without killing them, it just limited his options considering there were not many within reservoir of techniques, but there were still a few within there that could work providing the right conditions. As he reached the marketplace, his three tomoe Sharingan would scan the area before looking down upon those that he had been sensing through the rain technique, it was clear that they were in fact the escaped convicts just based on what they were wearing. They did not seem to notice him, at least not yet in any case, that was going to give him a slightly better chance of taking them all by surprise. Ren moved quietly across the rooftops using the silent killing technique to move in complete silence, once he was within Range Ren would activate the four-pillar binding technique surrounding the group with the lightning from the pillars as he moved closer to them. Forming another string of hand seals as one of the five began to try to break themselves free, Ren would activate the Sixteen pillar bind to completely encase them within the stone pillars. With the convicts now captured, Ren would send out the signal and wait for the guards to come help him in detaining them so that he could get paid for their capture.
