Ten Minutes to Midnight

Mission:

Ren would pause when he heard that Three Missing Nin had appeared within the land of fire's boarders, as he often had been doing, Ren had his Rain Tiger at Will Technique active. Just after the report was posted about them, he had picked up three individuals entering the Senju Forest. He thought about bringing another along with him, but in truth knew that they would only slow him down. He felt more than confident in his abilities that he could take down these three troublemakers alone, he had already found them so now it was just a matter of reaching them before they could get anywhere that they could cause havoc. Climbing onto the back of Tempest, Ren would take off into the air headed in their direction. His plan was simple and was his usual tactic, hit them hard and fast before they knew what hit them. Unfortunately, for Ren that was not what happened. As soon as he got within five hundred meters of the trio he was accosted by a large wave of water as it surged towards him, he knew instantly that it meant they had some form of sensory within their party and knew that his normal tactics wouldn't work unless he could separate the non-sensors but that would take more careful planning. Instead, he would leap off the back of tempest, sending his pet away from the danger to remain safe as he activated the Hiding in Camouflage technique on his way to the ground. He didn't fall to the earth though, instead seconds before he would disappear from the technique and his chakra hidden from any sensor, Ren would activate the light weighted rock technique allowing him to fly through the air with ease. It would be over in a matter of minutes as Ren would close the remaining distance between him and the trio before forming a single hand seal, his invisibility would drop, and a wave of fire would wash out at such high speed that the trio did not even stand a chance to get away. They would all three be dead before Ren's feet would even touch the ground, with a small smile to himself, Ren would whistle calling Tempest back to him so that they could return to the village and he could claim the reward for the death of the criminals.
