An Enlightened Meeting

A pure white sweet silk cloak bearing the Uchiha clan symbol on the back would be draped over his shoulders, covering most of his dark blue Battle Kisode, a Jade pendant resting atop it. The salamander contract attached to the back of his obi, concealed by the cloak. Wearing a golden coil ring on his right ring finger, his three tomoe sharingan staring out beneath his black hair. There was only one individual that he was interested in at the moment and that was the man with honey-colored eyes, he spoke with the man at the festival though at the time, Ren had no interest in teaming up with the man. Ren knew he was smart, but Ren did not think that the man could really offer up anything useful to him in true combat. Since then, however his opinion had changed. While facing the various illusions within the castle, the most recent illusion he faced had been a man with honey-colored eyes. He had not made the connection at the time he was fighting the illusion, but the more he thought about it, the more it seemed that there was no other answer considering that it wasn't a common eye color. The illusion was among the strongest of the illusions he had faced, and if it was any sign of what the actual man could do, then Ren wasn't too proud to admit that he had been wrong before. If it was in fact the same man, and the Castle based the illusion off of the man as he had seen the castle do based on his memories of others as well as a duplicate of himself that he had to face, then the man had potential that Ren did not take into consideration during the festival and the man could actually be helpful to him in the fight to come against the master of the castle as well as future threats. That is of course if the man was willing to work with him still. His Sensing Technique active and searching for the familiar chakra signature that he had encountered at the festival, in case the man altered his appearance like he had at the festival.

Tadara had changed his appearance and went to different specialty shops as a different person each time. He preferred no one got wind of all the ingredients he was buying or had a chance to piece it all together. He was preparing a number of chemicals after all. He would have preferred to do this in an actual lab with a sanitary space and controlled environment. For now he was spending a large sum of money in prep for the target at the top of the castle. If he was going in alone he would need it all. First was the golden cure. 300,000 for three doses of that. A medicine that would eliminate any and all poisons from the system. Next was another shop for the drug infinitum Memoria which cost 50,000 ryo. Next was another shop for occasum solis. A poison he had created which cost 100,000 to make. Finally he would set about making a back up set of God pills for another 300,000. Each yielding 3 doses each. A total of 750,000 ryo spent in one day hurt his coffers considerably. Still he set all of it to cook in different batches at different temps. Though he had changes everything about his appearance from gender to eye color per place he visited he had no way of hiding or altering his chakra signature yet. So he was cooking in a rented house that had the right ventilation for what he was doing.

Tadara himself was in a white lab coat with slacks and a white button up. His dress shoes with the modified grips would carry him around as he used gloves and a mask as well as eye protection. Careful as he moved between each station. His red hair tied back to stay out of his honey colored eyes as he checked up on each of his expensive designer drugs or provisions or whatever the average individual liked to call them. The ultimate goal here was to counter his low chakra reserves while raising his own intelligence. That genjutsu would be difficult to circumvent if he wasn't careful. The poison would ensure death if it landed a blow quickly. The cure was for himself in the unlikely event his own poison was used on him or if he could find one an ally. All of it was S tier designer chemicals. Beyond the scope of what the normal shops could provide it made it look like the best drug on the market was advil in comparison. 

Crafting for 750,000 ryo:

Ren's search would eventually take him to the outer edges of the camp, a spot where the camp commingled with the edge of the village itself. Here there were houses as well as tents, of course the houses were mostly abandoned or run down, leaving them available to those who had come to help deal with the castle. Ren would stop in front of one house in particular, he had first noticed it on his approach. It was the only house in this area that had smoke or some other kind of fumes coming from it, when he got within 125 meters of the house though he would pick up the chakra signature of the man he was looking for. He had started to worry that the man had perished in the castle, or worst abandoned the endeavor to remove the castle, both would have been a hitch in Ren's plan. Sensing the man's chakra though would bring a small, almost unnoticeable smile to his lips. Ren would move towards the small ramshackle house, reaching out and knocking on the door, Ren would wait for a response from within. There was much to do in preparation for facing the master of the castle, and from the smell in the air, it seemed to Ren that the man was making his own preparations. Though his sense of smell was not acute enough to know what it was the man was doing within the house, he knew the smell of chemicals in the air when he smelled them.

Ren would wait patiently at the door for a response from inside, the man had given him an impression of intelligence, so to discover he was so kind of scientist was not a surprise to Ren. In reality, when they met at the festival he struck Ren more as an observer than a fighter. It was one of the reasons Ren originally turned down the man's offer to partner up with him, Ren had enough experience with people who watched and studied that he didn't want to partner with a man that wouldn't actively help him in the fight. However, his thoughts about the man changed when he faced the illusion in the castle. He still did not know if it was the same man but he hoped it was, just as he hoped the man was as capable of a fighter as the illusion was otherwise this was a complete waste of time. If the castle had based the illusion on the man and the man was indeed a capable fighter, then Ren might have found the partner he was looking for. Not just to face the master of the castle, but for his long term plans as well. That of course was a matter of discussion for later, for now he would focus on assessing if the man would be able to help him with the castle or not.

Tadara would shift as he bent down to look at a couple of the chemicals cooking and adjusting the temperatures to a slow cook for now. Most of it was in its finishing states. The god pills in an oven like device to cook into perfect orbs and moments left before the oven finished. It would turn itself off once the time ran out and he would want it to cool slowly so as to not damage the pills structure. Still there was a fortune on that table and as far as Tadara was concerned it increased his chances significantly. If it was a battle of Genjutsu he was confident in his abilities. However he wanted to stack what chips he could. Instead his attention would draw to the sound of buzzing by the front door. His drones alerting him of the approach of someone else. He hadn't made his stay here public knowledge and many shinobi of some wealth were staying in the nearby houses. If someone was coming to his abode they had intent. His honey colored eyes would shift to the door as he watched it. Options rolling through his mind. Escape and to where. Direct confrontation was not his ideal battle. He was capable but he didn't wish to test how much. There were needles present for some of the drugs to be stored...though he didn't want to waist any yet.

In the end he would note the bee's seemed familiar but not alarmed. It wasn't Diana or Shigo then. He had programmed a different level of alert for those two threats and one other less likely one. Chen. However for now he lifted a hand and the bees buzzing would go quiet. He watched the door and shifted his feet to the angle best for clearing a window. If he needed to escape he would detonate this room and do so. However instead he would be surprised by a knock. His dull gaze shifting to the doorknob. A threat wouldn't bother knocking. They always kicked in the door or took out a wall. He supposed it could be used to lure him to the door. Quietly he would form a single hand sign and step out of sight from the door. A wax clone with only five chakra would split off from him. Moving to answer the door. Quietly the door would open before Wax clone Tadara would stand there seemingly alone aside from sensory. Tadara was around the corner listening and waiting. Still the clone would recognize the man. The one they had failed to recruit. 

"Uchiha Ren. How unusual to see you at my door at this hour. Is there something I might do for you?" He had already surmised this one used chakra sensory so the deception was likely useless. However Tadara wouldn't abandon his hidden position. Simply waiting and listening calmly as he considered his options. The Wax clone wouldn't trick this one. It hardly mattered though. If the man was here peacefully he wanted something. Still from where he was standing the drywall wasn't nearly thick enough to stop his blast chakra if he needed to clear some space. However he made no hostile actions.

As Ren waited for the door to open, he would hear a faint buzzing on the other side of it, no words just a buzz. Sensing as the man used a technique before stepping away from the door, leaving what Ren could only assume was a clone as he hid. As the door opened, Ren would see that his assumption was right, it was indeed a clone, though he could sense the man hiding behind the door so he knew that the man would be able to hear what he had to say. Seeing a few bees flying around as well as walking across different surfaces inside the house, Ren felt confident that this was the same man that the Castle copied to make the last illusion he had faced. Meaning he had been wrong before in thinking that the man had nothing to offer him. Greeted by the clone, before it asked if there was something the man could do for him, a brief smirk would form on his lips. Oh how the tables turned, he would think to himself.

"Hello again, Dearie. I assume by the fact that you are still here that you are planning on continuing your path to face the master of the castle. I wish to discuss that partnership you offered before, if you are still interested. Though it is something I wish to discuss in private and face to face, not through the proxy of your doppelganger." Ren's eyes would slowly drift to look in the direction of where the man was hiding as he spoke, though he couldn't see the man behind the door he knew he was there thanks to his sensing technique. Ren was not ignoring the presence of the clone, still watchful of it should the man try to use it to attack him, but his focus was towards the man himself. "You see, some new information has been brought to my attention while exploring the castle and since you are an intellectual I assume that you might find this information useful." Though his tone of voice was the same as it was when they met at the festival, there was a clear sign of difference in his speech, as if he was no longer dismissive of the other man as he had been before.

Tadara wax clone b -23 would glance at the man as he spoke. Avoiding eye contact despite not being the original. It was an act to keep up appearances though it was more out of habit than actual use. However as the man would look beyond b -23 There would be a moments pause. The consideration to strike at the neck. Collapse the windpipe or gouge an eye. If there was an opportunity to strike it was now. However instead the clones features would turn to wax slowly before melting into a puddle. Tadara himself would step out from the corner as he adjusted his sleeves. The puddle of wax sliding across the floor as one mass before seeming to rejoin the host. It wasn't really necessary but Tadara liked not to leave evidence of his involvement anywhere. Puddles of wax did not bode well. Still he would let those honey colored glowing eyes shift over the man. He would adjust the oven with the new pills as he set about sanitizing his hands before putting on a fresh pair of medical gloves. His eyes shifting up again as he set about preparing a black box with three other black boxes inside. 

"You have my curiosity. Though I harbor no ill will towards the indifference from before. I harbor no feelings in general. It is simply a fact that you would benefit the mission.  However do enter and close the door. Please, share with me this information of yours. I will continue my work while I hear you out."

His response was perhaps more monotone than one might expect. Though he would shift a hand before exposing a bit of his wrist. Using it to touch the side of the table and place a miniseal. With a touch his chakra ink would spread along the side of the table about a fingers width and his chakra would spread around the room. Blocking sound from escaping and sealing it from the outside listening in. Once that was finished he would open the three boxes and with a pair of tongs he would collect three black balls and each one would be placed into one of the smaller black boxes before they were closed. Then the larger box containing them would be closed too after. All done at a moderately quick pace without any apparent worry about testing the product or slowing down to handle it more carefully.

As the doppelganger turned to wax and returned to the man, Ren would step through the doorway shutting the door behind him before taking a full look around the room. Watching the man as he moved about Ren would begin, "The castle or at the very least the master behind the castle, this masked woman, has been watching and studying those within the castle. It also seems that they can pull from memories, as I faced illusions of those that I know. I even faced an illusion of myself that could match all my techniques and abilities, and I believe that I faced an illusion of you as well." Ren would pause watching the man for any sign of a reaction to this, though it was likely he already knew of the way the castle worked more than Ren did. "This illusion showed some pretty impressive capabilities, and while it's face was hidden by a mask, its eyes matched yours. It could control bees and was rather annoying to pin down, if that illusion was actually you, then I will say I am impressed."

Ren would move to an empty table on the edge of the room, his hand moving over it as he pulled items from the Kamui dimension. There would be three items in total that would appear on the table; a set of Armor, an Ocarina, and a scroll. "If we are going to do this, I believe that we should use all the tools at our disposal. These items I offer you to use for this endeavor, a small piece of things I have collected on my travels." Ren would pause as he picked up the scroll, "this scroll holds a copy of the secrets of a powerful technique from the land of Bears called the Mysterious Peacock Method and I believe that it will help us in the fight with this woman." Ren would sit the scroll back onto the table, moving away from it to allow the man to step up and inspect the items if he wished.

Tadara would pause as he turned off the burners. Beginning to separate out the doses momentarily. His Honey colored eyes would shift over to Ren as he closed the door. His expert hands not spilling a drop as he used the proper funnels for each chemical and tightly sealed each vile. Three items were presented on the table and he would listen to the explanation. Still he would glance over them while he continued working. He did not pause for the information nor confirm it immediately. He was used to working under the scrutiny of Iwagakure and how they kept eyes on him. The fact that the castle was using an illusions of him and likely to his full capabilities if he was difficult for even Ren Uchiha to pin down was concerning. It meant the possibility of fighting absolutely anyone up there. Still it would explain one difference for him. He would set his work down once it was completed before moving over to one of the drawers. There he would pull out a stack of thirty eight tags. Setting them down on the counter before speaking up. 

"I have been keeping up on my work up on the castle while I prepared. Even with having thirty seven tags I noticed when another had appeared. I had wondered if somehow I had miscounted but the likelihood of that is minimal. Alternatively my bees keep notice of anyone coming and going here. Since I was not alerted that means the final tag had to have materialized here. While it may not be a large distance that means the castles influence at least extends to the town below. This leads me to the conclusion I was for whatever reason rewarded for the illusion of myself that challenged you. I had faced what must have been a similar illusions of one of my countrymen.  Still we should keep in mind that any way we choose to prepare may also be used against us. That is not to say not to prepare but to be prepared to negate our own improvements Should that be the case. "

Finally Tadara would move over to the table that the three items were placed on. Picking up the snow armor. Running his fingers along it and then checking its hidden compartments. Then he would pick up the Ocarina and examine it for a minute in silence before finally taking the scroll from Ren's hands. He would open it, look it over for about thirty seconds before closing it up once more and handing it back. "The armor is impressive. While the protection it offers is higher tier its design suggests it can absorb up to mid tier techniques and redistribute the chakra. The spool of wire is useful as well for other means. It even looks as if it might improve ones chakra reserves automatically when worn properly. The Ocarina is a uniquely different story. The design of it suggests it can form two functions. Both as a boost to ones physical abilities and the ability to shatter genjutsu. Useful given where we are going. As for the scroll I have memorized its details and am confident I can utilize it. That said I would share the different preparations I have made as well."

Tadara would turn to his finished work and collect a vile of occasum solis, a vial of the golden cure and the black box with the three god pills before moving them over to the table. Setting all three before Ren. "While this is expensive to make all three of the items I have created before you are of the highest tier in chemical work. The occasum solis is a poison to put on a blade. It is a poison that attacks the heart. Giving the target a sensation of growing gradually more tired until their heart stops. One scratch with this and they will die. With that in mind I also have what has been referred to as the golden cure. Once taken it will work for a short span of time and cause the user to be immune to all poisons. If you get caught by the occasum solis take the golden cure. Finally in the black box is an advanced form of the soldier pill called the god pill. There are three pills there and each will restore a large portion of chakra. I have my own doses of each of these so I encourage you to put these to use as well."






Training Mysterious Peacock Method  300/300

Hearing that the castle could influence beyond its walls was slightly troubling for Ren, but he would conceal his concern. He had to believe that the man, Sienna, and himself would be enough to deal with the woman. The number of tags the man sat on the table was surprising, though it showed that he had been serious about his part in dealing with the castle. Whether or not the man miscounted, which the man seemed certain that he didn't, it seemed strange that the castle would reward him for using his image and abilities, but then again everything about the castle seemed strange to Ren. Taking the scroll back from the man after he had looked over it, it would disappear from Ren's hand as he sent it back into the Kamui dimension to await the need of it again. Nodding as the man stated he had memorized the details of it, it was impressive that the man could pick up a technique so fast without the use of a Sharingan, but considering how smart the man was, Ren knew it wasn't beyond the realm of possibilities. Ren would look over the three items that the man would place on the table, listening carefully as the man explained each of them. He never really used poisons or even medicine, but the god pills as the man called them would be beneficial to him and he was sure he could find a use for the other things. After a moment's thought, Ren would pull Sienna from the Kamui dimension, standing on the opposite side of the table from Tadara when she would appear so that the man would not feel like the two of them were trying to attack him. Sienna would be wearing her own set of Snow armor with a long sword on her back, that a man as smart as Tadara would likely be able to recognize as the Kusanagi. The Demonic Flute from the land of Rice would be strapped to her hip, and a briefcase in her hands. With a nod from Ren, Sienna would set the case on the table, opening it and spinning it around to reveal one million ryo within it.

"My sister here, will be assisting us in the fight as well." Ren would begin before grabbing the black box of God Pills before handing the other two items to his sister, "as far as expenses I will be willing to fund your endeavors. However, I am looking for a lasting partner, beyond just dealing with this castle. You see I believe this is just the beginning, a foreboding of what is to come and if I am right then this world is not ready for it. I have plans to protect this world from danger, but there will be those that do not survive. I am looking for those that possess the greatest potential of survival and doing what I can to help ensure that they do, however my work requires a certain level of anonymity and for that reason I need a partner that I can trust that will be the face of the operation. As an intelligent individual you are the perfect candidate for this, that is if you are interested. You will never have to worry about expenses or interference with your own work and projects, as you will be given complete Autonomy to do what you please. There will be certain situations that when I call upon you and you will be expected to answer, beyond that you will be uninterrupted. I already have a team that is setting up a base of operation, away from the prying eyes of the major villages, that will have everything that we will need to move towards the future. However, I do not wish you to feel obligated to join me in this, so if you wish this partnership to end after dealing with this castle, then I will respect your wishes."

Tadara would shift his eyes to the money and the mans sisters as they seemed to emerge from thin air. He had seen this ability before at the festival. However he had not been able to assess it much. It wasn't teleportation per se. Though it could clearly be used for such. If he had to make an educated guess he would assume it was a pocket dimension one could survive in. The Sharingan were always active when it was used in front of him so he could assume a correlation with the ability. However this dimension seemed to ignore the rules of space in an area. It could be used to fold that space and emerge elsewhere. But was it line of sight? For now he could operate on the assumption. However the trade of items was complete now with a transaction as well. However there was also an offer on the table. A wish for a more lasting partnership. He was ready now to move but there was just one more thing to address. Before revealing what he had done did not impress upon others his value but instead had caused him a list of issues. However those were others with different beliefs. 

"I am inclined to offer you my support in what regards that I can. However to do so there is a history the leadership of Iwagakure is aware of. In simple terms I operate on two levels in iwagakure. At the face of it all I am their lead surgeon at the hospital. A simple role which allows me some freedom and a good cover. However I am also underneath all that a member of ANBU code named The Owl. If the name rings a bell...it was under orders of the Tsuchikage stand in at the time Chen that I orchestrated the deaths of all the elderly in Suna. Creating an effective search pattern that left none alive within the village. As such as it was under orders I have been put on parole while still too valuable to the village to simply dispose of. However they have implemented limitations upon me. Even after defeating their Jounin commander in roughly sixty seconds I was only promoted to special Jounin. I would have left them if not for the value of what is in their vault. Techniques I have need of. If you still wish for my assistance I will grant it on the condition that you assist me with obtaining these techniques. I have been in the vault where it is all kept so I can guide you and provide a distraction. However that I will leave you to think on. For now I have made every preparation but one. I need to buy a weapon of some sort before we go. In the event I don't have access to chakra."

Either way that the man would respond short of violence he would begin to finish preparations. Putting the poisons and cures in vials in his pouches. Even putting away the drugs and tucking away the god pills into his coat. Chemically he was well armed but there were no weapons on his person. The chakra armor he would put on immediately and put the million ryo away with his other remaining funds in a small safe as he had no storage items or pocket dimensions. He had heard of some storage rings but unfortunately he did not have the recipe for such a thing. Some suggested one could seal items into their person but his experiments on enemy subjects he had captured so far had proven that was dangerous. However once he locked it up he would set about collecting to Ocarina and slotting it into his armor for easy access. Now all he needed was a capable enough weapon. A C rank Kunai would do probably.

A sly smile would form on Ren's lips as he heard the man say he was the lead surgeon in Iwa, something that he may have used for in the future but for now the smile would fade away as though never formed. It seemed that the man had a hard time in the village that he served, much like Ren was having in his, the situations were different of course yet still similar. He followed orders, did his job, and yet the new regime seemed to hold it against him, refusing to even acknowledge his capabilities it seemed. As the man explained that he would have left the village had it not been for his desire to obtain the villages secret techniques, Ren's smile would return and remained until the man finished by saying he needed to buy a weapon. "If it is a weapon you need, perhaps I can help with that as well," Ren would state as three more items would appear on the table from the Kamui Dimension. The first was the legendary blade Kurosawa from the land of Iron, the other two were a pair of large metal clawed gauntlets which held a chain connecting them. "More acquisitions of mine," Ren would add as he let the man look the items over. The blade was simple, the gauntlets however also held the capability to hold and use poison, however Ren would leave the choice to the man before sending the other back into the Kamui Dimension. Once Tadara made his choice, if any, of the two weapons Ren would continue. "If it is only the techniques within the vault that keep your loyalty to the village, I can save you the time." Ren would state as several scrolls containing exclusives from various countries would appear on the table where the items have been. "Konohagakure obtained a few of these from a Rogue Shinobi and I have made acquisitions of my own, you are welcome to read through and learn what you can. Of course, if you still desire to rob the vault of your village I am sure I can help with that as well, my lastest mission is to bring your Kage in for questioning about a possible crime she committed against Konohagakure. I am sure between the two of us we can figure something out that would provide you with the opportunity."

Ren would pace slowly around the room, thinking as he did. "There are some similarities between us, even with some differences. You see like you, my village has failed me just as your's has failed you. The fault is neither of ours, but in fact the system that these villages uphold. The history between our two villages is the best example, Konoha ruled over Iwagakure until a man came from your land and requested it be given back to its people. The Hokage at the time allowed this, giving Iwagakure it's freedom from Konoha's rule. Shortly after that, the next Hokage waged war against Iwagakure in an attempt to take it back. Despite the fact that you kept your freedom, you had to pay for it, and now Konoha seeks to do it again only with this Hokage, he hopes to do so without a war. Now with you, you did you duty. When you are a Shinobi, you pledge an oath to serve your village, unfortunately you are truly subject to the whim of whoever is in charge. The Kages come and go, as do their beliefs. What is acceptable by one Kage is shunned by the next, a cycle of inconsistency that I believe needs to be broken. I seek a change in the world, one that would ensure the survival of this world and it's people." Ren would pause again, "well most of its people. The weak will be throw to the wolves, but those with the strength to follow through will endure. Much like your work in Sunagakure, sometimes a culling of those stuck in their ways is needed. Gone with the Old Guard and a Grand welcome to a true New World Order. One ruler over the countries, one understanding shared between all people. Only the strong survive." Ren would stop there for a moment to see how the man reacted to what he was saying, considering the fact that this was the first time he had shared his belief with someone other than Sienna, he was curious if the man would be receptive to it or if the man would think him crazy. He wasn't some religious nut job, simply a man with a vision. "That said, I believe it is time that we move on. We will deal with the Lady of the castle, and then we can discuss things further." Provided Tadara was finished with the various scrolls, Ren would send them all back to the Kamui Dimension.

With that done, and provided Tadara chose one of the weapons Ren provided, Ren would open the door so that they could make their way to the castle itself.

Tadara would glance as weapons and scrolls were produced. First the weapon options would draw his eye. He preferred precision so the sword was tempting. However the large bulky claws held the ability to be infused with poison. Such an ability he wouldn't pass up. He was going to put some weight onto his movements so he would spend the night wearing the armor and claws. Getting accustomed to the weight of them and how they affected his movements. Studying how they each worked and preparing for the fight. Still he would collect the claws and watch the sword be taken away with a glance. It was an impressive ability. There was a great many ways to exploit it too. Far less ways to go against it. Still he was certain the heavy cost would come from chakra reserves. Nothing was free after all. Still he would set them to the side for now. Finally his eyes would widen in surprise and shock at the scrolls spread out before him. His search for knowledge and increasing his own odds and value were just casually strewn out in front of him. This man was dangerous to have such a collection. There was no way he had come across it all legally. 

Honey colored eyes would glance to the man. He was dangerous and it was clear he had no issues robbing a vault anyway. Diana might even be outmatched against such a man. Tadara had a whole plan involving setting fire to Iwagakure to cover his flight out of there. Yet now there were other options. His collection of explosive tags for instance seemed almost silly now. He had planned to use the first interaction with diplomats from other countries to sneak away. However Diana had been away from the village doing just that he believed. However she could come back just as quickly and without warning. If these Konoha nin had approached the gates he was set to blame the terrorist attack on them. Still faking his own death would have to be part of it. His eyes would glance back to the scrolls before he grabbed his notebook from the nearby counter. Moving to open every single scroll and make copies of them. From Konoha he would glance over two of the A ranks. The multi shadow clone jutsu and the Rasengan. To the fair point of the Rasengan it was potent but altogether not as impressive a technique as the others. The multi shadow clone was just a slightly improved version of his wax clones in his opinion. Still both would register in his mind and be able to be brought up with perfect recall later. 

It was no surprise the land of Iron techniques were of no use to him. All of them were Kenjutsu which was to be expected. Still he would make copies just to have them. Knowledge meant trade and stronger underlings. If one of them happened to use Kenjutsu these would be valuable. Raising their value as his underling and his value because of that. The land of tea was much in the same boat. Surprisingly focused on fire more than anything. He against couldn't use a lick of it. But if he could find underlings with the right value in certain categories...The land of grass was taijutsu and again not his wheelhouse. Still he wouldn't ignore it and not make notes. The land of forest however. It held only two techniques. But they were techniques he wouldn't so easily ignore. The spiraling rasengan was worth so much more than its simpler konoha counterpart. The sheer destruction of them. Even if he were about to lose a fight and die....if someone couldn't escape the blast radius of either technique....or somehow defend against it. They would be annihilated. However given the techniques speed and radius likely so would the user. Suicide technique as it may be however the great spiraling ring was truly an impressive design. He would commit each of them to memory. He wasn't certain they would help in the fight but there were methods to the madness. Especially if they could escape the blast at a glance. His honeyed eyes shifting to his patient benefactor again. 

However the land of rain technique would do him no good either. Another element he did not have. Nor did he think he could reasonably change it to honey. Even if he could the stealth of it would fail and he would end up making a massive mess. The land of rice however was a different story. The projection technique allowed him to project himself with genjutsu across an entire country. To have conversations with anyone in the country and see their surroundings without revealing his own or putting himself in danger in the slightest. It would be useful for deals such as this. Still he was jotting down notes as he went. Halfway through the scrolls maybe. There was so much more to train and do. For now he would finish up writing the list and settle on just a couple to try out. Or at least train and see if he could given the trouble they could cause. There were four techniques he saw immediate value in. 

The S rank spiraling Rasengan was the first. Or rather the great spiraling ring. There were no hand seals. He merely held up his hand and focused the massive amount of chakra as the scroll instructed. Producing the jutsu and canceling it out in a matter of seconds. Test one was complete and he had retained the chakra instead of dispersing it. Not only that he held enough control that he didn't just wipe out the town. Still he would use a scalpel to slice open his hand as if it weren't his own. Actually using ultra fast regeneration technique with some interest. The blood sucking back into the wound before it closed. It was more interesting that it was a Ninjutsu than anything. He would have assumed it was a medical ninjutsu. The next was for defense. Welcoming Approach: Thousand-Armed Murder would do wonders to keep them defended. Still he would recover his chakra quietly as he studied the next and finally the last one. The four symbol seal. There was but one secret he would keep to himself. If it was possible he would consider the woman and this castle on the level of a bijuu. Such potent abilities with genjutsu....he wanted them. If he could he would seal her inside of himself. Gaining her potent powers. 

Still he would finish with his notes. His honey colored eyes and empty expression showing him so little of what he was thinking. He would simply nod and put on the chakra armor. Placing his drug, his god pills, his poison and his antidote on his person. Finally he would equip the claws and slide his notebook into his inner coat pocket. Filled with all the secrets of the world the man had provided him with. He was prepared to both defend himself and go on the offense in multiple ways now. He was a contender on many levels as his value had skyrocketed. However there was something in the Iwagakure vault he still needed. 

"I will follow you after this Ren Uchiha. I had underestimated your value total before. I have doubts there is anyone matching your number. Even myself with how much my score just improved can not compare. Let us go an remove this threat and we can choose afterwards what we will do about Iwagakure. However I serve them no longer. I am yours to command."

 With that Tadara would finish speaking in monotone. His expression barely changing through out the entire exchange. His chakra reserves were full...he was well rested...he had allies, techniques, weapons, armor and chemicals now. All that was left was to go to the castle. He would go through the portal without hesitation.
