Weed Control (Solo Mission)

Mission:

Word spread for Tsuki’s ears to hear rather quickly. Frankly she has never heard of some vines from a garden invade someone’s house. Yet when the young genin sees a simple stone house that held a garden of herbs and flowers on the side. On that side of the wall and partially around the corners is like nature trying to consume the stone building. An elderly woman is seen just outside as she is sobbing clearly in distraught as she is trying to clip the vines off. Despite complaining that her back feels like someone is putting pressure around her spinal cord.

Tsuki approached the lady in a calming manner as introduced herself to the elder before requesting to help. Of course the lady asked if Tsuki was the genin that is tasked with this vine problem the Tatsuda nodded her head in acknowledgement. With a pleasant smile spreading across her lips, Tsuki took the pair of clippers that the lady held. Tsuki started to clip away the vines that is closer to the windows minding not to cut herself or anything. To Tsuki’s surprise the lady came back out from the inside to hand the Tatsuda a pair of gardener’s gloves worn out as they might be. Offering another smile and gratitude Tsuki puts on the gloves and resumed her work.

The day was a bit warm and humid which did not make things comfortable as Tsuki tear into these vines. Eventually Tsuki cleared out the vines around the windows and begin snipping the vines around the corners. Of course any roots connecting to these vines were uprooted for the most part. As the old lady had pointed out the base of these vines is located within the garden itself. It even has a rack for the vines to climb on, but they are not supposed to grow out of that let alone the garden itself.

So rolling up her sleeves Tsuki spends a good hour or two clearing out the vines outside of the garden. It was quite easy to do, but it still took up time coordinated as Tsuki might have been. Once she cut off the overgrown vegetation and puts it on a pile. Tsuki begins to carefully work around the herbs and flowers. Her deft hands carefully brushing aside a dragon lily to snip that lone vine, or even taking out the thick part of it. However about another hour passes before Tsuki reduced the problematic plant to just the garden on a rack. Once she cleaned up and returned the tool with the gloves. The elder lady pays her for the job done, and with Tsuki paying equal respects she bids the lady a good day before departing from the scene.
