"the wind chakra channelled through the kusarigama allows to turn said weapon practically into a living snake."

*^ I interpreted this part to mean that the whole weapon turns into free-form putty and can be manipulated freely. But it sounds like you mean only the chain can be manipulated like that.

    Kijo Sealing Chain

*^ I'm still a bit confused what the fuuin portion of this technique does. I see you clarified that it doesn't prevent the usage of all techniques which is good and clear, but now it seems like all this techniques does is just wrap someone up in Kuri chains. I don't understand where the sealing or fuuin comes in.

They boast a C-rank hardness by default, which is elevated to B-rank if the original weapon has S-rank quality/hardness.

    *^ C-Rank hardness/quality

Explain me exactly how a 'living snake' translates to 'free-form putty'...? It sounds to me like you're altering the purpose of my jutsu from 'improved control exertion' over a kusarigama into an 'alteration ability' that changes the size, shape and malleability of the weapon. I do not believe the description suggests that latter even in the slightest O.o

In effect, just think about the control Saint Seiya's Shun has over his chains. It does whatever he wants it to do without needing to put (much) physical effort into it.

LMAO Idk what living snake means! What I said was pure speculation that's why I was asking you hahaha. I looked up the example you gave and I see what you mean now. I presume that this means the weapon is governed by your Coordination stat as most weapon manipulation would be. But this sentence makes me think otherwise:

"Anyone with a coordination higher than this jutsu's power can slip out of the technique's grasp, though it would require a strength higher than the weapon's hardness rank to outright break out of it."

    Kijo Sealing Chain

*^ MUCH clearer, thank you. So if this fuunin is going to tack onto the chains to cause full body paralysis irrespective of Con I'd say it should be A-Rank for the Activation Cost.

    Kijo Hunting Chain
Living snake. As in, a snake that is not dead [x]. Snakes are capable of writhing, constricting, curling up and lashing out as they bite. They are very agile and quick creatures. The movements of the snake is what is being recreated with this technique: enhanced control of movement.

As for the escape mechanism, it's simply so that agile people could wrestle/writhe out of the entrapment (coord vs coord). Those who would prefer to break out of the technique's grasp would have to oppose the weapon's hardness (strength vs hardness).

Okay I fully understand what you mean when you say living snake. That's perfectly fine.

Sealing chain needs an upkeep. 10 CP per post if you intend to hold someone down for more than 1 post.

If its coord v. coord it should not read:

"Anyone with a coordination higher than this jutsu's power"

    Shouldn't it read

"Anyone with a coordination higher than the user's coordination"

Weapons 1 rank higher in grade should be able to Pierce.

Why's that? Isn't chakra superior to weapon mat? I could somewhat understand attacks executed at STR of one rank higher, but not material. That'd mean someone with weak STR still trashes the jutsu no matter its rank.

The jutsu's bonus falls in line with the Earth version of 'chakra flow' technique, minus all the extra options. That one actually grants potentially a +2 to either options. Instead of Earth chakra, this tech requires armour smithing to explain the deeper knowledge on efficient armour use.

You say its not a form of flight but then you characterize it as "free-form movement". Explain how this is or isn't flight in detail.

"By combining and improving the principles of the 'Gentle Step' and 'Gentle Descend'[...]"

Both jutsu are not considered flight. Also note the name 'Gentle Step' and 'Heaven Step'. Both hint at a form of walking/movement rather than flight. Knowing the parent techniques further clarifies this jutsu, since it is an upgrade from those techs. Lastly, the weakness clearly states it is not flight. The rest is a matter of connecting the dots.

"Both hint at a form of walking/movement rather than flight"

*^ Just say that your jutsu allows you to WALK (not run) and/or float in the air.

I understand your saying its not flight but you need to be more specific on what this does that Gentle Step/Gentle Descend does not. Differentiate between the two/three techniques and then write that differentiation into the description of the jutsu.

"which allows them not only to safely ascend and descend, but also to remain standing still/floating in the air. "

Gentle Step allows 'walking on air' and ascending. Gentle Descend allows 'safely descending' from walking on air. Neither allow you to remain 'standing on the air'. This one combines and improves upon the parent techniques and allows all of that + standing on the air.

I'll clarify the walking/running part, but the technique really says all you request already. Users need to know what the parent techniques do. That's kinda the point of the parent techniques.
