2020 Site Updates

1. Kirigakure is now officially closed. You can only register shinobi in Kumogakure and Konohagakure for the time being.


2. As stated on the site Discord, erotic roleplay is no longer permitted on the forum. Graphic sexual descriptions of any kind are prohibited and all written romance must be strictly PG-13. You are permitted to use fade-to-black as a motif to transition into off-scene romance.

3. For the purposes of charging precog saves, you can analyze more than one individual in a post.

We are changing the way Advanced Elements work. In order to use an advanced element, you will need to purchase the Base Elements for that element with Skill Points and then purchase the Advanced Element itself with a Skill Point.

For example, if you wanted Ice Release you'd spend 1 Skill Point on Water Release, 1 on Wind Release, and then 1 on Ice Release.

All characters affected by this change will be granted a FREE Reset to fix their character's build. Mind you, if you fail to update your character ensuring that you have a Skill Point dedicated to the Advanced Element that you are using, then any future posts that utilize that Advanced Element may be voided.

We have rescinded the rule regarding Advanced Element Releases costing a Skill Point. Advanced Elements will no longer require a skill point all you need to do is purchase the base elements and you're set.


All resets that were approved or considered are rescinded/repealed. Your character will go back to the same status it was prior to the rule's imposition. We are giving an free 800 Word Count to all those with Advanced Elements as compensation for the inconvenience and time spent rebuilding your character.

AE related Clan Jutsu is Open unless specifically denoted that it belongs to the Clan Leader. This means that if you got Magnet Release through a Bijuu or an implant, you can learn all of the Clan Jutsu as if it were an Open jutsu even if it is tied to a Clan. There will be certain jutsu however that will be Clan Leader Exclusive (such as Adamantine Sealing Chains for the Uzumaki)

2. Water Clone Range rules have been specified. In order to take advantage of ranged spawning, the clones need to come from a pre-existing source of water.

3. Radiation Release Clan changed from Base Debuffs to Boost Debuffs.

A few updates for you guys!


1. Jinchurikki Bijuu Cloak Armour Ranks have been specified. This is the defensive rank of each of the Bijuu cloaks:

Chakra Mode - S++
V2 - S w/ Pierce Immunity
V1 - A



2. The rules regarding inactivity have been changed. You will only receive the Experience docking penalty once you have failed TWO activity checks as opposed to one. However, if you fail 1 activity check you still may be stripped of anything on the site that has a limited slot.

3. The Rules regarding registering Physical Styles has been clarified. Physical Styles (Taijutsu, Bukijutsu, Kenjutsu, Kyujutsu etc) are registered without an activation cost on the site which means you only pay upkeep. However, they are not "1-rank" lower in the sense that an A-Rank Upkeep is registered as a B-Rank Upkeep.

For example, if you have an S-Rank Taijutsu the upkeep should be registered as 20 CP and the Activation Cost should be N/A. You should NOT register this S-Rank Taijutsu as having an upkeep of 10 CP. This benefit doesn't apply to maneuver-specific techniques. It ONLY applies to Styles.

Spots for Dual KKG are now hereby open! For those of you that have passed at least 1 activity check. You may register a character to take Dual KKG as a Starting Restricted [Enhanced State Level].

However, a few things to keep in mind:

1. Character applications for Dual KKG characters will not necessarily be on a first come, first serve basis. We will judge the applications we get on a semi-weekly basis. We will make determinations on which apps will be accepted on the basis of app quality, player activity on the site and with respect to multiple characters, whether the player has had a Starting Restricted or any other Restricted.

2. If you take a Dual KKG spot you must be active on that character. If you are not active, the slot may be taken away from you and you will no longer be able to roleplay your character as having two KKGs.


3. If you take a dual KKG spot you cannot have another starting Restricted on the same character (ie taking Otsu as one of the KKG that make up your dual KKG). You also may not have an alternate character with a Dual Restricted (ie one character has dual kkg and the other character has Otsu).

4. You must spend the necessary skill points for both KKG. You must spend experience for both KKG.

Implant Updates!

1. Every corpse can yield five implantable organs the brain, heart, kidneys, liver and lungs.

2. Senju DNA requires 2 Liters of Blood (basically enough to make you pass out and stay in the hospital for awhile). Still gotta take the Flaw.

3. Taking organs from Dual KKG or Chimera allows you to CHOOSE 1 KKG per implantation process. For example, you can take the heart which will be considered 1 implant and will contain the KKG of your choice. And then you can go for the lungs which will be considered another implant and will contain the KKG of your choice.

We have opened up some more slots for Missing Ninja/Wanderers/Minor Nation Shinobi.

There are now four D-Rank slots for such shinobi. Keep in mind that two of them are taken.

There are now four B-Rank slots for such shinobi. They are all free and open. So if you have passed an activity check you can feel free to take one!

The Otsu Clan has officially been buffed!

- Elemental Mastery has been buffed and simplified. Now all you need to do is sacrifice 3 Skill Points and pay 500 Experience, then you can access all five elements. The technique known as "Elemental Mastery" has been removed to reflect this simplification.

- Black Receivers now have a specified quality and hardness of B+

- Otsu receive a passive +1 Tier to Stamina. They also receive a +1 Tier to Perception courtesy of the Chakra Visualization Technique. Note that these boosts are GENERIC.

- They don't have to breathe. However if they exercise this option they incur a -- to Stamina for as long as they use this ability.

- Exp cost for reading alien language has been nixed.

- +10 Implant Modifier for the following Clans: Senju, Hozuki, Inazuma, Hyuga, Tetsudashi and Kazehana.

All Otsu get a free reset.

The cost of the "Great Blast Strikes" class of techniques has been changed to being on a per strike basis.

Unique NPCs can do skill/stat trades

We have clarified the way Retirement Experience works. Retirement Experience rules have been changed from this:

-Whenever a character of yours dies or retires you may take 25% of all earned total experience (starting exp doesn't count) and put that amount towards a new character (spendable and total).


To this:

Retirement Experience ONLY takes from your total experience amount.

The following UAs are hereby banned:

1. Divine Divination: As an Otsutsuki, all manners of jutsu are within Arisu's grasps. She's capable of learning jutsu earlier than most without other's help. However, it does take some time for her to do so. Arisu may learn techniques a class early, although those techniques require twice the word count to master.

2. Learning Class Advantage: A player may have access to learning techniques one rank above of what their class allows. This early access must result in stunted growth forcing the player to spend an additional 10% experience to advance into the next class. This can be stacked with other modifiers (Sensei, Intelligence, etc..)

For example, a D-class Genin may only learn up to C-rank technique. This UA will allow that same Genin to learn up to B-rank technique. However, in order to hit C-class they must invest 1650 experience into their total instead of 1500 (10% of 1500 is 150. 1500 + 150 = 1650...)

All versions of these UAs are prohibited.

Anyone with these UAs must remove them as they are no longer permitted. If you have ALREADY learned techniques pursuant to these UAs you can keep them but no future techniques may be learned on that basis. You are permitted a single replacement UA if you had one of these UAs.

Radiation Release is now a Kekkei Tota requiring Wind, Fire, and Lightning.

Hayami Clan/Swift Release's Shadowless Flight has been nerfed. The upkeep has been increased to 15 CP per post, the boosts lowered to ++. and the debuff to a --

1. New Buildings have been added to the The Building List found in the Village and Organization Rules.

2. New Corporate/Investor Specific Buildings have been added under the Investor Skill (which is now an Entity Restricted).

3. The The Great Shinobi World War Mission System is now live and can be found here

Cursed Seals have been buffed! They now gain an extra tier worth of boosts and have a healing perk that kicks in once State 2 of the Cursed Seal is activated.

Due to popular demand Crafting has been reverted back to the old system. Note that exp gained from crafting now has a 500 a month limit

1. Civilians will be permitted 1 full reset as a result of the changes made to the origin. This includes the ability to add or remove a bloodline.

2. In order to get an implant, the person whose organ you are taking must have actually unlocked their KKG (meaning they must have paid the necessary experience to unlock at least the lowest level).

1. Summons will now be allowed up to two UA-like Perks for their Contract.

2. Sage Mode based Summons or Custom Restricteds based on Sage Mode shall receive either one exclusive powerful technique OR an powerful exclusive perk for their Contract.

3. Sage based Summon Contracts do not count as the 1 Custom Summon that a player can create. They can make their Sage based Summoning Contract and then they can make another custom Summoning Contract

Hey all,

A few changes/clarifications have been made:

1. The Rinnegan is revealed anytime an Otsutsuki uses or maintains any of their abilities (both General and Path specific). The only exception to this is use of the Elemental Mastery ability.

2. Clarification on how Universal Tech Claims work: The techniques in the Approved Customs section of the Technique Library must be claimed individually akin to Personal Custom Techniques. They cannot be claimed all at once in the universal technique claim like canon jutsu. Also, Intelligence does not increase the amount of techniques you can learn via the Universal Technique Claim. It is not counted.

3. The Power for Water Heavens Convergence is B-Rank

4. A member of Staff must be present for all dice rolls as a witness.

5. Genjutsu: Sharingan requires the Genjutsu Skill

Element Resistances of the same Skill/Element CANNOT stack.

Retirements are now permanent. If you had recently retired a character here OR brought back a retired character on Neo-Gladius and that character is currently inactive, you have 48 hours from the time of this announcement to bring back that character. Once the 48 Hour Grace Perod has elapsed, such characters will not be permitted to return.
