A... Date?

Lightning would stop dead in her tracks when she heard the other person speak out in this tone. Wasnt she able to take a joke? Appearently not. Regardless of that, it didnt matter anyways. Lightning was able to find her way around home alone anyways, same in her case. Maybe it was better if they went home alone to begin with. After all, Lightning wouldnt be expected to meet her at her home so maybe there even was a good thing in that. FInally shrugging slightly, Lightning would chuckle as she said:

"Well... you certainly arent the softest person."

Pausing for a few seconds she would shrug once more before she turned around, raising her arm and pointing her index finger  into the air, letting it whirl around for a few times as she answered: "Well if thats what you take from a joke, i dont mind doing that too. You have fun there and be safe. Maybe hit me up once you feel a bit more nicer and relaxed.", while her steps guided her towards her home.

Yasuka feels a bit guilty when she can tell that her response had not been taken quite so kindly. She knew she was sometimes considered cold, but she should at least let Lightning know that there were no hard feelings about it. When Lightning spins about and then points her arm skywards, the genin rolls her eyes and then comes right up to the pink haired woman, standing up on tiptoes to give her a quick, but light, peck on the cheek. It was the kind of kiss a friend might give another, so Yasuka didn't think too much about it. When she speaks this time, her words are much softer than before.

"Good night, and thanks for the meal."

Then they go their separate ways, although Yasuka honestly wouldn't have minded being walked home by Lightning, after all. Even if she made some really stupid jokes.
