Criminal Intent

Mission:

Now that he had a few contacts it was time to setup the network, the goal was simple get information moving and flowing through them. Make it clear that when something new was learned, that the information was brought to them first, making it so that no one knew anything unless the Light approved it. It was a simple matter, which his connections down at the docks, plus the shipping yard for over the land deliveries, he basically already had a network of information gathering within the land of Rice, but he needed more than that. He needed to know what went on in different countries as well. Making Otogakure the information capital of the world was something that would help them in their future plans. Once Dai and Sienna were finished setting up the bases in the different countries, it would just be a matter of finding the right individual to make the right connections within those countries as he did with Rice. It was going to be a time consuming task, but one that would work for the betterment of the world, or at least the betterment of how Ren planned to shape the world. Making contact with the different crime bosses of the land of Rice, Ren would begin gathering information about possible connections in other countries. If he could start working with those that his contacts were working with, it would make the whole transition easier and likely faster. Luckily he didn't have to do all the work himself, he just needed to set the foundation and get the network ready for when his men would actually start gathering the information and doing the various jobs for the Light. With that done, Ren would return to the base and begin his next plan of action.

Mission:

Ren would move through the streets of Otogakure with a single purpose on his mind, the light needed territory. What better place to start than his front yard, so to speak. He knew that different criminal elements worked the streets, and he also knew the size of each gangs territory making his choice simple. Targeting the gang with the largest territory, Ren would call upon the leader of the gang. He had only met the man once before, when the Light first set up shop within the village. The gang leader thought he was tough and his men were more afraid of the man then they respected the man. While fear was a powerful driving force, it didn't take much for something more fierce to come along and scare the men more than you scare them. It was why it was important to have more than fear on your side. Meeting with the gang leader, Ren wouldn't wait for the man to do anything. Casting the Genjutsu Cajolery of Glamour on the man, Ren would force the man to bend to his will. With that done he would have the man call a meeting getting all of his members to come to the meeting point, once all the men had gathered, Ren forced the man to start a speech however before the man got more than a few words out Ren would walk up with his dragon mask hiding his face and kill the leader and named himself the new leader. All the men would bow instantly, not one would try to stop him or challenge his authority. That was the problem with ruling with fear alone, while it kept your men in line it also kept them weak. If someone could defeat someone that they feared so much so easily, then what chance would they have against the individual. Ensuring that everyone knew their place with the way the new management was going to be running things, Ren would set off on his next task.

Mission:

The light almost had everything that they needed to start things off strong, the had a network, they had different connections, they had territory, the only thing they didn't have was enough members. While he had gained the members of the gang in his take over, they were already molded into who they would be. He needed fresh meat, ones that he could shape into who he wanted them to be. Moving through the streets of Otogakure, Ren would gather the homeless and downtrodden, the orphans of war, and the lows of society. While they did not hold the power Ren wanted for his commanders, they held the potential to be useful and he still had ways to weed out the weak later. The goal was to find as many that had been let down by the current society and show them that there was a better way, if they failed in this way then they would only have themselves to blame. Ren would show them the path to the Light, but it would fall on them to make it on the path. By the end of the night he had fifteen individuals that were prepared to make a better life for themselves, that were willing to do what it took to survive in the new world that would be created. While he was satisfied with the turn out, he knew that they would not all make it through all the trails, but those that did survive would be stronger for it.

Mission:

Now that he had new recruits, both by his own hand and those he acquired from the gang take over it was time to see what he was actually working with. Thirty individuals in all but, it was about quality not quantity. Arranging for them all to meet together for their training to begin, Ren would set out the rules. Only half of them would be accepted as members, the other half would be taken care of. He would pair each of them up with a partner and set them to fight, the winner of the fight would gain membership while the loser disappeared. The fight would continue until one of them was dead, simple and effective. If anyone had a problem with it they were welcome to say something, but after the first man that objected to killing was killed himself by his partner, Ren would just smile as the other fights began and he welcomed the first new recruit. Of the other fights, there were those that were disappointing, like the first over too quickly without much of a show. On the bright side though, there were those fights that took longer, equally matched on each side with both individuals fighting for their life in an attempt to win. When dawn broke he would finally have his remaining fifteen members, only slightly disappointed in the fact that only 8 of the ones he had recruited off the streets prevailed. Moving through his new men, Ren would touch the bodies of each of the fallen and watch as their bodies disintegrated into nothing with the body elimination technique.

Mission:

It was a call to arms when Ren received a report that another gang was moving in on his newly claimed turf. Rallying his soldiers, Ren would move towards where the other gang had been spotted. It was more than just an insult, the gang moving on his territory showed that they did not respect him enough. Something that he would have to correct, he would teach them what it meant to mess with the Dragon. Seeing a group of 5 men gathered on a corner, Ren would dispatch his own men to deal with them while he looked for others. The streets of Otogakure ran red with blood as the turf war began, surprisingly Ren would only lose a few of his men in the defense of their territory. The opposition however suffered much more, Ren would only leave two of the men from the other gang alive, allowing them to return to their boss and explain what happened and what would happen if they tried to make a move against him again. As the two began to run off, Ren would form the spiralling bullet and kill one of them, the rasengan bullet ripping through the man's body as Ren called out that it only took one to deliver the message. With the threat to their territory subdued, Ren would set his men to work on repairing the damages that was caused during the fights as he returned to the base to rest.
